Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning helped Riku up and then put him on the back of Odin, able to tell that he wasn't strong enough to fly on his own. She would keep him safe, until he was strong enough to defend himself again. Even after that she would keep him safe. The group arrived at the castle, where Lightning helped Riku to the room they had been sharing briefly and got him into the bed. He needed to rest.
Riku stared up at the ceiling once he was in the bed, though no one could tell since he was wearing his blindfold. Why was everyone being so nice to him? He was awful, dark, evil. It shouldn't have been this way. They should have been rejecting him, not accepting him.

Lightning sat down on the floor next to the bed, wincing at the battle wounds she hadn't healed. She wouldn't bother with them now, too tired to care. She leaned back against the bed and shut her eyes, needing to catch up on some rest. She couldn't remember the last time that she slept. Her exhaustion and her care for Riku were two reasons why she wasn't downstairs, where the others were speaking to the Mouse King who just showed up and was getting an update on the situation.
Riku decided it wasn't worth bringing up in conversation now. Exhausted and weak, he allowed his eyes to close. Within minutes he was unconscious, his breathing even as he allowed himself to sleep for once. He would tackle his problems as soon as he woke up.

Later, Disney Castle

King Mickey entered his office, having just gotten back from speaking to Master Eraqus, Aqua, and Ven about their situation. Not only was he surprised to see Ven back, but he heard Riku returned as well. Sora was a completely different story though. he went out to search for Roxas and Namine over two days ago and he hadn't been seen or heard from. Mickey didn't like this, Sora missing from action. It gave him a nasty feeling in his stomach.

Kairi left the garden, having surrounded herself with the peaceful atmosphere for quite some time. However, she noticed His Majesty was back, so she made her way up the stairs to the Hall, where she saw the door to his office at the other end. She crossed the distance quicker than usual, her footsteps faster due to her anxiousness. Was everyone okay? Was Riku back? What about Sora, and Roxas and Namine? The eighteen-year old knocked on the closed doors timidly, afraid to interrupt the King just after he returned.

"Yes, come in," King Mickey said from his desk. He already knew who it was just because of how timid the knock was. It was Kairi. He would have to break the news to her. She'd be ecstatic to hear about Riku's return, but devastated with Sora's disappearance. He knew that was what he was feeling at the moment, and he wasn't as close to the boys as Kairi was.
Kairi pushed the door open, shutting it quietly behind her before facing the King. "Your Majesty?" she called softly, and she was sure her expression and tone could do the rest of the asking for her. What was going on out there?

King Mickey shook his head faintly. "Have a seat, Kairi," he said softly, motioning to the chair that was right in front of his desk. She would want to be sitting down when she heard the news, especially about Sora. How could he just go missing? None of the villains said anything at the last battle about him, either. Did Sora even have an encounter with them at all?
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but she followed orders. She approached the chair in front of the King's desk before sitting in it, clasping her hands together in her lap as she looked up at him. He didn't seem happy. In fact, he seemed...scared. But for whom?

King Mickey smiled faintly at Kairi as he shared the good news. "Ven has returned from the Realm of Darkness, and Riku is back to his normal self," he told Kairi. Ven was found about two days ago in this Realm, and Riku had literally just returned in the battle before King Mickey spoke to Master Eraqus and the others. That meant that his news was very recent. But so was the news of Sora, unfortunately. He was still lost.
Kairi's eyes widened, a smile spreading to her face immediately. "Oh, thank goodness," she breathed, closing her eyes briefly as she exhaled. That was relieving. Ven was alive, and Riku was alright! That was fantastic!

King Mickey smiled faintly at Kairi's relief, humming in agreement. It was great that those two were back, and that Orphan was defeated. But they had a whole new set of problems on their hands now. Roxas and Namine were still prisoners, and Sora was missing in action. Honestly, Mickey was more worried for Sora than he was Roxas and Namine.
Kairi looked up at the King with the same smile, but upon seeing that he was less enthused, it faulted. "...Sir?" she questioned, leaning forward slightly. What was the matter? Riku and Ven returning was great news! He had to be more excited than he was letting on.

King Mickey looked down at his desk at Kairi's smile, knowing that smile was going to be gone in a minute. He had to tell her the truth. "There's no word on Roxas and Namine," he reported quietly. "...And Sora has been missing for about three days." He left on his own to try and free them, and nobody heard from him since. It wasn't looking good.
"Huh?!" Kairi gasped without thought, her eyes widening in fear. Her hands curled together, gripping each other tightly. "...No." She shook her head, looking away. No, that couldn't be right. Roxas and Namine had to be okay, and Sora was supposed to be with the others!

"I'm sorry, Kairi," King Mickey said, looking up and seeing her panicked expression. He hated being the bearer of bad news, but he was telling the truth here. The others were even wandering from world to world the past two days and they hadn't seen him at all. Where could he possibly be, if he wasn't...gone?
Kairi shook her head again, lifting her hands and resting her head in them, her elbows against her knees. This wasn't happening. Sora wasn't missing... He couldn't be. No one could find him either, which meant... No. He wasn't gone. She would have felt it by now. Her heart would have been ripped to shreds.

"I'll give you a moment," King Mickey said after a few tense seconds of silence. He needed to speak to Terra and tell him that Ven was safe, anyway. He quietly got up and left the room, shutting the door behind him as he walked down the hall.
Kairi kept her eyes closed, forcing herself to take deep breaths as to not freak out. But it was too late, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. "Sora..." she whispered, sadness in her voice. How could he get separated from the others? She shook her head again, disliking this more than she could have possibly imagined. But she would never imagine this--her fiance disappearing and her two best friends in danger. None of this would have been thought up, ever. Kairi lifted her head, pressing her lips together as she glared at the desk. This was Xehanort's fault. All of it was.

King Mickey continued to walk, lost in thought. He wanted to help somehow, but he couldn't spare anyone to look for Sora. Donald had a family now, and Goofy was also devoted to his son. And Mickey had a kingdom to rule...He couldn't just abandon his people for the sake of an old friend. He wished that wasn't the case, but he couldn't help Sora. He would have to pull himself out of this mess.
Kairi casually let her eyes roam the room, but something sparkled on one side of the office. She became curious, her eyebrows furrowing as she pushed herself up from her seat. Walking over toward one of the bookcases, she spotted something wedged between a few novels. She narrowed her eyes slightly before grabbing the item, pulling it out to hold something much like her Wayfinder in her hands. What is this? she wondered. Thinking back to all of the lessons King Mickey taught her and Namine during their stay, she suddenly remembered him speaking of Star Shards, and how rare it was to find one these days. She just located the King's. It was then that Kairi remembered the King saying something about the Star Shard taking you wherever your heart wanted to go. The girl looked toward the door, making sure it was closed completely before she focused back on the Star Shard. Sora...she thought silently, hugging the Star Shard to her chest. Her form glowed blue before she was whisked away, disappearing from Disney Castle.

Radiant Garden

Sora was sick of fighting this monster. He hadn't fought a Darkside in a good while, and this one was proving to be more of a challenge than any of the other ones that he faced. It was hard too, since this was such a narrow path between the Bailey and Ansem's Computer Room. His eyes widened as he dodged the hand that came down for him, his armor clinking against the ground as he rolled to the side. That was a close one. Now he just needed to find a way to beat this thing...

Kairi felt the ground beneath her feet, and she opened her eyes to find herself in her old home. Her eyes widened in shock, though she then looked down at the Star Shard in her grasp. It actually worked! A rumble beneath her feet made Kairi stiffen, looking around wildly, but that was when she saw the Darkside peeking out from behind a wall. She started to go down the stairs, trying to see what was going on. She peeked around the corner only to see her fiance in his armor. Sora! she thought in surprise. Her heart really did guide her!

The Darkside leaned in close to Sora, and the brunet winced when a bunch of images and data points flashed before his eyes. Not now! he thought, immobilized for a moment. The Darkside took advantage of that. He swung his mighty arm and sent Sora flying off to the side, where he hit a stone wall roughly before falling to the ground. Why did this always happen at the most crucial moments?!
