Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Again, Sora shook his head. "And I'm not letting you come along. It's too dangerous." This situation was real; didn't she understand that? This wasn't a game where she could run around and play with all her new abilities! Xehanort could kill her in one attack. Or Xemnas could scar her with the same move that he did Sora. He didn't want to see that happen.
Kairi lifted one hand to sit on the side of Sora's helmet, though she made no move to take it off. "I won't get stronger unless you let me do this," she told him softly, pleading with him to let her tag along. Whacking at the orbs of Light King Mickey summoned was only going to get her so far; she needed real enemies, not fake.

"This isn't a game, Kai," Sora said softly. "This isn't a good place for you to get stronger. Everyone is out of your league." They were out of his league too, apparently. He had been so confident going to face Xemnas, but in the end, he had to flee. He fled a lot of battles lately because of his fear and loss of confidence from that battle.
Kairi moved her hands to place them on her hips, giving Sora a look. "You really don't think I can do it," she declared, not making it a question. He had no faith in her? She may have not been as strong as him or Riku, but she was one extra blade on Sora's side. That had to count for something.

Sora shook his head, removing his hand from Kairi's face. "Kai," he said softly, his voice weak as he looked down at the ground. "I don't even think that I can do this." That was how dire this situation was. Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, Orphan, and the other hooded figure...They were all so strong, and so smart. So calculated. But Sora was running around clueless. He felt powerless and was desperately trying to change that, but he didn't know how to.
"Then I suggest you accept some help," Kairi said with a small nod. "You've got me and Riku, and the others." Now that Ven and Riku were back, they could help, as would Aqua and Lightning. And Master Eraqus. They could all work together.

Sora blinked behind his helmet, lifting his gaze to Kairi. "Riku?" he asked. Kairi must have been out of the loop or something; Riku was under the possession of Ansem still. Unfortunately, Riku couldn't help. He was the one person that Sora would trust to help him with this, because he knew Riku could handle himself. Kairi had a brave heart, but she wasn't as strong as Riku.
Kairi smiled slightly, aware now that Sora wasn't informed of Riku just yet. "That's what I said," she confirmed with a small nod. "He's himself again, which means he's on our side." He would help, and maybe she could talk him into helping her convince Sora she could offer her blade. Maybe he just needed a little more convincing.

Sora's shoulders slumped in relief, his head lowering as he sighed. He was so relieved that Riku was back on their side! He didn't bother asking for the details, not really caring as long as his best friend was himself again. Or was he completely? He probably still was struggling with his own issues with Ansem...So he couldn't ask him for help. He'd either go it alone or go with Kairi, and he knew she was too stubborn to let him go on his own.
Kairi ducked her head slightly, trying to look at Sora's visor as she knew that was the only way he could really see her with his helmet on. "So...what do you say?" she asked. "Are you accepting my help or not?" Honestly, he was stuck with her whether he accepted it or not. She wasn't leaving him.

"I don't think I have much of a choice," Sora said, though his tone wasn't harsh. It was sheepish, because he knew arguing with Kairi was pointless. She was so stubborn sometimes. But if she was coming along with him, she had to do things his way. If he said it was too dangerous, then she had to run from the fight.
Kairi's lips spread into a satisfied grin immediately, the girl straightening. "Excellent," she chimed, linking her hands behind her back. "Let's get a move on, then." She turned, starting to walk in the direction of the Bailey. Perhaps Sora could explain to her why he was here, and why he was keeping that helmet on as they walked.

Sora chuckled, shaking his head at his fiance and her "take-charge" attitude. One problem, though. "Wrong way, Kai," he called. He was heading in the other direction, towards Ansem's computer room. There were some things that he wanted to know, and he hoped he could get answers there about whatever threat he sensed other than Xehanort.
Kairi stopped and looked over her shoulder, caught off guard with the news. She giggled in embarrassment, turning around and starting up the incline. "Whoops," she said, passing Sora as she hurried along.

Sora shook his head, smiling behind his helmet. He started behind Kairi, though he caught up to her side quickly. She believed she could take care of herself, but she was wrong. He would take care of her, always. It was his job as a Keyblade wielder and his job as her future husband.
Kairi walked with Sora for a moment, but she decided to interrupt the silence. "So...what're you doing all by yourself?" she asked, glancing over at him as they walked. She figured he would have been with the others, or had gotten to Roxas and Namine. The latter upset her, just because the subject wasn't entirely favorable.

"I left a few days ago on my own to try and help Roxas and Namine, but I got sidetracked by something else," Sora said, glancing over at Kairi briefly. "I think there may be another threat to the worlds, other than Xehanort and his team. I've been looking into it since I separated from the group." And that was actually the truth. It left out some details, like the scar and the crazy flashbacks, but Kairi didn't need to know about those.
"Have you found out anything?" Kairi asked, taking a small turn in the path with her fiance. It must have been pretty serious in order for him to get sidetracked like this, leaving Roxas and Namine for the time being. She knew Sora, though, and that he hadn't done it on purpose. But it really must have been something, especially if it was a threat to the worlds.

"No," Sora said, faintly shaking his head. "Only reassurance that my hunch is right. I can't explain it, but something's lurking out there, ready to pounce." Maybe it was another group that was headed by Xehanort; he didn't know. All that he knew was that they hadn't revealed themselves yet, and when they did, it would be deathly dangerous for everyone.
Kairi's expression softened with concern as she focused forward, humming to signal she gathered what Sora said. She knew this wasn't going to end well, whether it was just Xehanort or this new threat. But they all had to be ready, no matter what.

"Kairi," Sora said after a moment, looking over at her as they walked. "In the future, if I tell you something is too dangerous, you need to take my word for it, okay? ...I'll give you a chance, but you can't have your way completely." If they ran into a battle or a specific enemy that was too strong and he told her to run, she needed to do it.
Kairi looked over at Sora, wishing she could really see his eyes at that moment. She kept her hands linked behind her as she slowly nodded, concern on her features. She was flattered that he was so worried for her safety, which was nothing new, but she also wanted to prove to him that she could do this. At least he was giving her a chance, like he said.

Sora felt a small smile tug at his lips, the brunet setting a hand on Kairi's shoulder briefly as they walked. But then he turned his head forward and his hand came back to his side. "C'mon," he said lowly, turning more serious. There was no more time to talk about small things or catch up. "It's time to get some answers."

Land of Departure

Riku felt himself coming too, his exhaustion relieved from many hours of sleep. He slowly sat up, aware that his blindfold was still over his eyes. He could see just fine anyway, and trusted his other senses to guide him. It was dark in the room he was in, and he was clearly in a bed. It was at that moment he remembered how he got there, and he turned his head, seeing a figure resting on the floor beside the bed. Leaning on his elbow, Riku leaned over, seeing that it was the person he loved and the person that stuck with him through it all: Lightning.

Lightning sat in the same place she sat down in a few hours ago, though her head was now leaning forward instead of backwards. She was in a light slumber, her weapon in its gun form as it sat across her knees. She made a promise a while ago to protect Riku. And that was a promise that she would keep even now, even when she failed to initially protect him from Ansem. She was ready in case anyone tried to come in and hurt him while he slept, even if that meant she didn't get the deep slumber she needed.
