Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

There. Lightning sensed it. "We're not alone," she said to Riku. She swiftly lifted her gun and pointed it at what seemed to be an empty wall, shooting a bullet. The bullet didn't hit the wall, bouncing off an invisible shield of the person who was standing there. With a hmph, he changed from invisible to visible. She knew that it would be him even before her eyes were able to see him. Ansem.
The gunshot was loud, and Riku was sure it would wake whoever was sleeping in the castle. However, he didn't focus on that, instead gritting his teeth when he saw who had been spying on them. He pushed himself to his feet. "You again," he growled. "I'm done with your games." He wasn't going back to the Darkness.

Ansem watched Lightning push herself to her feet as well, her weapon in her grasp. He shifted his gaze from her to Riku. "Good," he said, "because I am done playing games with you. I've found a new opponent." Lightning would be the main victim this time. Orphan couldn't finish the job, but he could. And he would.

Lightning grunted when Ansem's gaze was on her once again, and she sensed a threat behind her. She barely turned when she was smacked by the Guardian, sent flying into the bedroom wall to her right. She crashed down on her stomach, sword also clinking as it landed beside her. But before she could get up, she felt her muscles paralyzed. The Guardian was hovering over her, not allowing her to move at all.

"Lightning!" Riku gasped in horror, reaching a hand out towards her. At the sight of the Guardian, he tensed, knowing what could possibly happen; Light could become possessed, just like he was. He managed to get the Guardian out of him, but would she be able to do the same? Riku took a step toward Lightning instinctively, terrified for her safety.

"Not yet, Riku," Ansem said from his spot, seeing the teen reach out for his beloved. "You'll want to hear what I have to say, or I'll order the Guardian to enter her right now." This would be a part of his revenge, and his part of regaining what belonged to him. He would have Riku's heart again. That boy could not conquer the Darkness.
Riku grunted at the words, his lips parting in fear as he retracted his hand, which curled into a fist once at his side. He turned his head in Ansem's direction, furious. "What?" he spat. What did he want?

"Watch," Ansem said, motioning with a hand towards Lightning and the Guardian. He wouldn't possess her, not here and now. He had worse plans in mind for that. The Guardian, still hovering over Lightning, leaned down and clawed at the sleeve that originally covered up the clock of Orphan's spell. The soldier could only wince, though the cuts were deeper than just the sleeve and caused her great pain. She was paralyzed; she couldn't move enough to gather the air to cry out. When the sleeve was gone, the numbers were revealed to still be on her arm. The spell was only paused, not gone. She would still perish due to Orphan's curse.
Riku turned his head to look at Lightning behind the black fabric over his eyes, though he lifted the material from one eye. It was aquamarine due to the other half being covered, but his eyes widened due to what he saw. "...Doom?" he grunted. That curse was supposed to be terminated!

"Killing Orphan was not the task that was needed to remove the curse," Ansem said, shifting his gaze to the soldier who shifted her gaze from her bleeding arm to him and glared at him. "It stalled it, but the real mission is to terminate us. All of us." It was an impossible mission, especially with the time constraint Orphan gave her. Still, that was beside the point. All that Riku needed to know was that he was going to reactivate the curse and unless he utilized the power of Darkness, his beloved was doomed.
Riku let his blindfold cover his eye once more, the boy refusing to show terror in front of Ansem. He turned to him then, waving his hand slightly. "So what do you want me to do?" he asked. What could Riku possibly do to help Ansem now?
  • Author

"Save your beloved from the curse," Ansem said after giving a small hmph. "The spell is about to be reactivated, and without the power of Darkness, you will lose her." He glanced over when he sensed Lightning struggling against the Guardian, though she still couldn't physically move or speak. The Guardian's invisible grip was too tight.

Riku, don't you dare listen to him! Light thought, shifting her pale blue eyes to her boyfriend. He's lying! Orphan was the only one who could control Doom spells other than Eidolons. No way was Ansem telling the truth here. It was all deception to try and get Riku back on their side.

Riku turned his head to look at Lightning then, his eyes fearful behind his blindfold. He could read hers clearly, though, and they were telling him not to buy into the lies being fed to him. He didn't know what to do here. Did he turn back to the Darkness to save her, or was this all a trick?

Light's fingers twitched, showing a little bit of her struggle. But her efforts were repressed. She groaned when the Guardian tightened his grip on her to keep her in submission, her eyes shutting and her eyebrows furrowing over them. She couldn't break free of this stupid thing! Her whole body was tense like she couldn't believe, and her arm was burning like it was on fire. She hoped the sight of her in pain didn't cause Riku to do anything rash, like side with Ansem. He was lying about everything; there was no reason for Riku to join him.
Riku lowered his head slightly, closing his eyes so he could think clearly. The look in Lightning's eyes a moment ago... It was almost a plead to not believe Ansem. Did she know something that he and Riku didn't? The boy could only believe her, as he would over Ansem any day. "I think..." he started, lifting his head, "...I'll use my Darkness to help her instead. Yours doesn't suit me anyway." He summoned his Keyblade to his grasp in a flash and chucked it at the Guardian instantly, not giving it time to react. He wasn't about to believe Ansem's lies again.

The Guardian gave a loud shriek, fading away and appearing behind Ansem as he was forced to release Lightning. The soldier felt her body go limp as she was finally released from his strong hold. She took in the breath that she needed before she slowly started to push herself up off the ground. She couldn't just lay here...
Riku darted across the room quickly, kneeling down beside Lightning as he set his free hand on her back. Stay down, he thought, then pointing his Keyblade at Ansem and the Guardian. Ansem didn't have to see his eyes to know his expression, which was hatred and defiance. He wasn't about to side with someone who only used him for his own gain.

Ansem watched Light get back down on her stomach, not that she was far off the ground in the first place. "Pity," he said, shifting his gaze to Riku and seeing the resistance in his expression. "You will accept the Darkness eventually, Riku. You'll need to in order to save her." He extended a hand and snapped his fingers, the numbers on Lightning's arms growing brighter as the spell reactivated. Her eyes were wide at the burning sensation, and probably in surprise that the spell was real. The timer was reset to a new limit. 48 hours.
Riku glanced down at Lightning's arm before glaring at Ansem again, simply gritting his teeth. He was telling the truth! That meant Riku made the wrong choice...or did he? He was still siding with the one he loved, so perhaps it wasn't the wrong decision after all.

"Forty-eight hours to kill the four of us," Ansem said with an evil smirk. "And because you were so difficult..." He summoned a portal right underneath Lightning and Riku, the two of them sinking into the Realm of Darkness. They'd first have to make their way out of that Realm. That alone could take much longer than the two days Lightning had to live.
Riku grunted as everything suddenly turned black, the bedroom disappearing from his vision. He slowly felt himself lose consciousness, his Keyblade disappearing from his grasp as he passed out, the sudden summoning to the Realm of Darkness causing his slumber.

Radiant Garden, the next morning

Sora woke up before Kairi did, the teen trained by now to wake up before the sunrise on missions. He summoned his armor away when he was asleep, after Kairi was already unconscious. And now he summoned it again while she was still asleep. The mask hid his face from view, hiding the sign of his defeat against Xemnas. He would keep that hidden as long as he could. They were sitting in Ansem's computer room, where they rested for the night.

Kairi kept her head against one side of the wall, huddled up in the corner with her legs drawn. She slept peacefully for being in such an uncomfortable place, but she needed the rest after a long day of searching with Sora. They hadn't gotten far with it, but the day was new, which meant new opportunities.

Sora got up, yawning and stretching out his tired muscles. He only glanced at Kairi briefly and noticed her posture before he smiled faintly. Still asleep. He let her be, walking forward to the computer and starting to type in silence. He would try a little more searching, and if he didn't find anything, they'd leave to look somewhere else.
Not only did Kairi plan to search more with Sora, but she also would try to get him to take that helmet off. First of all, it couldn't have been comfortable to wear all day. Secondly, why was he covering his face from her view? She was going to find out eventually. What Sora didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

Sora searched the computer for another half hour before he decided that he wasn't going to find anything. In that case, it was time for them to go. He walked over to the girl sitting in the corner, kneeling down in front of her. "Hey, Kai," he said gently, lightly setting a hand on her knee. It was time for her to wake up, so that they could keep searching for answers.
