Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning grunted her response, which not only showed her disgust towards her own weakness but agreement to Riku's offer. They had no choice now; she was slowing them down too much. They couldn't let her desire to stay strong slow them down to the point where they wouldn't be able to complete the task given to her. It was already looking like mission impossible. She slowly rose to her feet so that she could get onto Riku's back and they could move again.
Riku turned and allowed Lightning to get on his back, his hands securing her legs around his waist. He started walking down the path again, his senses helping guide him as he wore the thin blindfold. He would get Lightning out of this mess; she had the curse again because of him. He would set things right.

Light had her arms wrapped around Riku's torso, her one arm covering the other that had the bright red numbers on it. She didn't want to see those numbers; that was why she originally had a sleeve on it. But the Guardian tore up that sleeve earlier. The soldier rested her head against Riku's, her heart beating heavy in her chest when she realized that if she didn't make it out of this, this could be the last time she was this close to Riku.
Riku's stamina and strength were high as it was, and in this Realm nothing changed; walking long distances with Lightning on his back wasn't going to affect him too much, as it showed when he walked for an hour in the same direction. The space opened up into a wider area, however, and he stopped when he sensed something nearby. It wasn't a Heartless...and it wasn't any other enemy he was familiar with. He stayed still, silent as he listened for any movements nearby.

Lightning sensed Riku stop, even when her eyes were shut and she was just drifting back to consciousness. She had been in and out of it for the while that Riku was carrying her, and it did help her regain some of her strength. Still, she didn't bother moving when Riku was paused; she assumed that he was at a fork in the road and deciding which way to go. If it was Heartless, he would have just kept moving.
Riku listened and looked through his blindfold, waiting for the creature to show itself. And sure enough, it did. Red lights flashed from his left and he sharply turned his head in that direction, though they kept moving. The lights darted around in the shadows, causing him to grunt as he turned to follow it, securing his grip on Lightning. What is that thing?

Lightning felt Riku's head turn sharply, also sensing him turn quickly. That had to mean something was up. She lifted her head and opened her eyes, blinking once or twice to clear her vision. She thought she saw a flash of red, and that made her eyes widen. What was it?
Riku grunted roughly when the lights suddenly disappeared, and he could only wait. His sight darted left and right, the nineteen-year-old turning to try and locate the red lights once more. That was when he sensed something behind him. He turned just as the creature came at him, forced to drop Lightning as he summoned his Keyblade to block the attack. The force was too much, however, and he was pushed back. Riku landed roughly on his back before rolling backward to be on his stomach. He lifted his head, the creature gone. "What the...?"

Lightning grunted when she was dropped, falling onto her side. It was because of that position that Riku didn't trip over her when he was knocked back. He landed on the ground a few feet behind her. She pushed herself so she was sitting up more, her hand finding her weapon as she looked around for the threat. There was nothing around them.
Riku sat up a little more, pushing himself to his hands and knees as he looked around. That was when he saw it--a creature shrouded in black running straight for Lightning. "Claire!" he cried. She had to move, now!

Lightning grunted, seeing the creature running at her. Instinct took over. She pushed herself up as Odin appeared behind her, the knight putting his hands underneath one of her feet and launching her up into the air while he blocked the creature with his large weapon. The monster halted as Odin pushed back against it and Lightning fell down to the earth. She could land an attack now. She held onto her gunblade with both hands as she landed on the creature's back, stabbing it with the weapon and forcing it to release a cry in pain.
Riku pushed himself to his feet and called to a Thunder spell, knowing that was the only spell he could fire that wouldn't mean him getting in the way. What is that? he wondered silently, having never seen the creature before. He spent a long time in the Realm of Darkness and never came across this monster before.

Lightning pulled out her sword as the creature shook, managing to shake her off its back. Her feet skidded on the ground when she landed, but she managed to stay on her feet as she gripped her weapon and stared at the monster. But then she looked back to Riku, Odin pushing the monster away from him as she did. They'd both have to fight this battle.
Riku briefly looked at Lightning, making eye contact with her even if she couldn't see his eyes. He nodded briefly, understanding what she was thinking just by her look. He then sprinted forward, his weapon in his hand before he slid on the ground underneath the beast, slicing at its belly and eliciting a cry from it. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't going to slow them down. They needed to get out of here.

Lightning and Riku fought against the monster for a while, its red eyes staying bright and always locking onto its prey before it charged. It was only her and Riku now; Odin was injured too badly and vanished. Light was in the next worse shape; this battle was lasting a long time, and she was already weak in this realm. She shot off bullets from her spot, unwittingly drawing its attention from Riku and to herself. It charged at her and her eyes widened. Crud.
Riku had been prepared to send an attack the creature's way, but Lightning distracted it. He grunted in fear, knowing what was happening. "Lightning!" he cried, both in agitation and fear. Why would she do that? He started to sprint forward, though there was no way he could beat the Red Eye; it was too fast.

Lightning quickly shifted Paradigms, casting a shield around herself just as the creature lifted his claw and scratched at her. She winced at the strength behind the attack, the shield vanishing. That was when Red Eyes swung his other claw at Light, sending her flying and crashing into Riku.
Riku grunted roughly, falling onto his back with Lightning landing on top of him. He coughed, the wind having gotten knocked out of him before he groaned. Ow...he thought at that moment, pain radiating through his body. Gashes and bruises had already been put to his body, and now he just had Lightning crash into him. The combination didn't help diminish the pain.

Light winced when they were both on the ground, the soldier rolling off Riku onto her back next to him. She opened her eyes and felt the thudding on the ground, and that was when she knew that Red Eyes was charging in and going for the kill.
Riku barely got to sit up when he sensed the attack coming, and he lifted his Keyblade in front of him and Lightning in defense. As if that was going to work. But he would do all he could to keep himself and Light alive. At this rate, it was all that mattered.

Lightning pushed herself up so that she was sitting behind Riku, and she set her hands against his shoulders to further help him brace for the attack. But the attack never landed. A beam of digitized light shot out from somewhere in the woods, striking the creature and making him stop dead in his tracks. He was frozen. But how? And where did that light come from?
Riku had his eyes squeezed shut in preparation for the attack, but when it didn't land, he opened his eyes. He saw that the creature was frozen in time, and he slowly lowered his weapon. Confused, he let his sight follow the beam of light toward the shadows. "Who's there?" he called. Maybe it wasn't "who", but "what".

The man stepped out of the woods, the hood of his Organization cloak covering his face. "That's a question that would be better answered later," he said with the device in his hand. "The beast won't be frozen forever." He started in the direction that Riku and his companion were originally going in, motioning for them to follow. They could escape by going in this direction.

Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, but got to his feet. He reached for Lightning's hand to help her up, knowing that they needed to get out of here, and quickly. If they stuck around much longer, they were dead.

Lightning held Riku's one hand as she rose to her feet, her other hand holding her gunblade. She couldn't help but cautiously glance at the monster before she looked to the stranger again. She didn't know who it was, but she sensed that he wasn't a threat. If he had the power to freeze the monster like that, he could have used that power against her and Riku. But he didn't, so he must have been an ally. Or so she figured.
