Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Caius's purple eyes darted to the soldier, his smirk returning. "Caius Ballad," he replied smoothly. "It's a...pleasure, Lightning." His fated rival was here, and he found her with ease. She had never been so easy to track.

Lightning's eyes narrowed behind the blindfold. "Save it," she said lowly. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Ansem the Wise was awake and on his feet. But they had bigger problems right now. From what she knew about Cauis from her dreams, he was an incredibly strong man. He could easily defeat the three of them, couldn't he?
"And the ever-promising temper arises," Caius chimed with the same smirk, his eyes remaining on Lightning. He could sense the silver-haired teen's anxiousness, however, which only amused him. He kept his blade pointed at Lightning's companion, so he wouldn't make any wrong moves. Caius could paralyze him quite easily.

Light lifted the hand that wasn't on the arm that Riku was holding, the soldier undoing Riku's loose knot and holding the blindfold in her grasp. Her blue eyes shifted to Caius after that, seeing him clearly. It truly was the man that she saw in her dreams. "How do you know me?" she asked, lowering her hand that held Riku's blindfold. He had to know her somehow; he infiltrated her dreams.
"Fated rivals always cross paths," Caius replied, his hold on his weapon strong; he could hold its weight with ease. He did hear a grunt leave the boy, though, upon registering his words. Apparently the teen didn't like that Caius and Lightning were enemies.

Lightning's eyes narrowed further. Fated rivals? What's that crap? "If I'm your fated rival, then point your weapon at me," she growled. Leave Riku out of it. Something told her that this was a fight that she needed to face alone. Caius was her enemy, not Riku's or Ansem's.

Riku tightened his hold on Lightning's arm, not letting go. She wouldn't dare put herself in to danger to save him; he could handle Caius, or so he thought. "Lightning..."

"Shut up, kid," Caius ordered, only smirking at the glare sent his way before he did as asked. He pointed his weapon at Lightning, the tip of his blade only centimeters from her face. "Do you recognize me yet, Guardian?"

Light didn't flinch at the blade in her face, though she did blink at the name that Caius gave her. Guardian? What was she guardian to? "...You were in my dreams," she confessed, looking at the man. "That's all I know." She had no idea what he wanted from her, though. He said they were fated rivals, but why?
Caius lifted an eyebrow at that, his smirk widening. "Well then this should be interesting," he chimed. He glanced briefly behind him, aware that there was a third party here, but he then glared at Riku. "Hmph," he grunted, then swinging his blade at the boy's face. He wasn't fast enough, though, a weapon keeping him from hitting his target. Riku grunted as he tried to hold up against Caius's strength, who only gazed at the weapon. "...Very interesting."

Lightning snapped her fingers and activated her gravity device, at the same time lifting one of her feet and giving Caius a kick in the stomach that should have sent him flying back. She couldn't believe he just tried to knock Riku out of the fight like that! He would pay for that. She didn't know who he was, but that wouldn't stop her from fighting him.
The pressure on Riku's Keyblade was lifted when Caius was sent backward, crashing onto the platform a ways off. "We need to leave," he said. They didn't have time for this! They had to get back to the Realm of Light.

Lightning stepped forward, between Riku and Cauis as her device turned off. "Get Ansem out of here," she said to her boyfriend. "I'll hold him off." Even she could tell that Ansem was wounded, and she didn't look over at him. She held out her hand with the blindfold, looking over and noticing Riku's gold eyes for the first time. He needed this back before he left.
Riku gazed at Lightning for a moment, questioning her decision. But he knew that he could barely handle Caius, and if she and he were fated rivals, she at least had to have some strength equal to his. He took the blindfold from her before striding past her to reach Ansem, all the while hearing Caius rising to his feet.

Lightning pulled out her sword as she walked forward, but then she started running. She reached the edge of the platform and jumped, swinging her sword at Caius in midair while coming down to his platform. If he wanted a fight that badly, then he would get one. But he wouldn't put her friends in danger again.

Caius quickly ran his hand over the eye of his blade, Ragnarok, a blue light swarming over it before he swung to meet Lightning's weapon. Their blades clashed, wind eliciting from the magical properties as he held his ground. This was his enemy.

Riku wrapped Ansem's arm over his shoulder, gripping the back of his coat as he helped him get away from the action. They needed to flee, especially since Ansem was in no shape to defend himself.

The wind knocked Lightning back, the soldier doing a back flip in the air before landing on her feet right at the edge of the platform. She grunted and swung her sword so it was down by her side, her blue eyes glaring at Caius behind her bangs. Whatever he wanted, he wasn't welcome in her life. It was time to knock him out of it, and quickly. Her time was running short.
Riku took Ansem toward the gate, and right before he went through, he glanced back at his beloved. He knew she was strong, but that never stopped his worry from showing. He narrowed his gold eyes before turning, walking through the gate with Ansem.

Lightning pushed off on her feet and launched herself at Caius again, swinging her sword with one hand to clash with him. She knew that Riku and Ansem the Wise either left or were about to leave, but she needed to buy them a little more time just in case. And she had to ensure that Caius wouldn't follow.
Caius blocked the attack with ease, jumping back to give some space between himself and Lightning. He slanted his sword in front of him, his eyes briefly flashing red as he summoned a ball of dark energy to his free hand. He simply smirked before firing it off, a grunt leaving him.

Light's eyes widened briefly, and she turned her sword to block the energy. Still, it sent her flying back onto another platform. The fight continued like that for a while, the two of them jumping from speeding platform to speeding platform while trying to get the better of each other. Light hated to say it...but Caius was stronger than she was. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the sky turning black and gold. It gave her an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Caius started laughing in triumph. "Behold, the Historia Crux!" he called, motioning to the weapon with his hand as he and Lightning had a moment apart. It was going to take her to where she belonged. Valhalla.

Riku had spent enough time in Gran Pulse alone with Ansem, and he decided to go back to get Lightning. He entered Oprhan's Cradle through the gate, his blindfold back on as he heard Caius cry out. Historia Crux? He looked up, spotting something coming out of the sky. What the...?

Lightning grunted, lowering her guard as she looked up at the sky and saw what Caius called the Historia Crux. Her eyes widened immediately. This was what she saw briefly in her dream! This vortex, or whatever it was, dragged her off to some weird place in her dreams. What was it doing here?
"Guardian of the goddess Etro!" Caius called, his eyes on Lightning now. "You and I are destined to fight, but not here. Valhalla calls us." It was there they were meant to fight each other, one on one. Orphan's Cradle had nothing to do with it, and neither did the teen who returned through the gate.

Light's eyes widened when she saw Darkness coming towards her, and she pushed off on her feet and jumped across to another platform. It was still hot on her heels. When she moved to jump to another platform, a strand of Darkness wrapped around her ankle. She grunted when she landed on her stomach on the platform, though she was quickly dragged off of it by the Darkness that also wrapped itself around her arms and torso and was dragging her into the vortex. "Get off me!" she cried at the Darkness, struggling. She wouldn't go!
"Lightning!" Riku hollered, fear apparent in his voice. He started running immediately, leaping over platforms to get closer to the person he loved. He could hear Caius's deep laughter from the scene, obviously pleased at what was about to happen, but Riku wouldn't let it. I won't lose her!
