Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, and he approached Lightning. He reached down and lightly grasped her wrist, gazing at her arm. "Huh..." he said, though it was a relieved sound. The curse was really gone....

Light gazed down at her arm for a few more moments, unable to take her eyes off of it. She was free. A sigh of relief left her lips as she lowered her head and shut her eyes. Thank goodness. She had been getting worried, since it took them nearly a day to make it out of the Realm of Darkness. She was no longer bound to time.
Riku smiled slightly, lifting his gaze to Lightning before he leaned forward, pressing a small kiss in her hair. He pulled back after a moment though, releasing her wrist as well. Now she could relax and they could move at a more comfortable pace. Besides, Ansem needed to be healed before they moved on.

Later, The Land of Departure

Light, Riku, and Ansem made it back to their temporary home world in the evening. She was so glad that the brand was removed; now they didn't have to rush somewhere for once. It felt nice to let her feet drag in exhaustion instead of going full speed ahead when she didn't have the strength. Even if her body was tired, her mind was racing. Not only was Caius the focus, but so were the other ghosts that Light recognized. Who were all those people? And was she really Caius's fated rival?

Riku led the way, approaching the large double doors and opening one of them, going inside the castle. Outside he had seen a light through the window, and he knew the others were in the study, probably discussing their next game plan. But had they noticed Riku and Light's disappearance? They had to; they left when it was the middle of the night, and now it was only evening. Riku guessed they were gone for a day, at least.

Lightning glanced at the setting sun behind them before she went inside after Riku. Ansem the Wise was also with them but none of them talked much. They were all pretty tired. Still, Light was tempted to either stay outside or go to the training room to try out these new skills that Etro bestowed upon her. The powers could come in handy in future battles.
Riku took a turn in the hallway, expecting Light and Ansem to follow. "They're in the study," he called behind him, just loud enough for them to hear. Aqua, Ventus, and Master Eraqus were probably wondering where they were, and Riku was going to tell them exactly what happened...including all of the strange things. Nothing could be hidden.

"Yeah," Light said simply, following Riku towards that room. She would stick with him; she honestly didn't want to be separated from him. A lot of scary stuff happened within the past three days, and now she wanted to enjoy peace while she could. If she could. She hoped that Xehanort and his company didn't show up and ruin things, but he wouldn't put it past them.

The door to the study was cracked open, leaking light into the dim hallway. Riku approached and lightly pushed the door open, which creaked with lack of use. Master Eraqus's eyes darted toward him, and Aqua's head jerked in the same direction. He nodded to them in greeting, though Aqua immediately voiced her concern.

"Thank goodness you're both alright," Aqua said, her expression showing relief. She could see Lightning just behind Riku, and possibly another visitor? "Where have you been?" They woke up this morning and the couple was gone.

Lightning entered the room with Ansem behind her. She stepped to the side and leaned against the wall, arms crossing over her chest. "Ansem thought it'd be fun to send us to the Realm of Darkness," she said lowly. He showed up in the middle of the night the previous night and caused a mess, then sent them off to the Realm that Lightning hated. Well, at least something happened there that made the brand go away.
"We ran into Ansem the Wise on the way," Riku continued, motioning to the man who was now in the room. "He came with us as we searched for a way out. We found it, but we had to walk through a fallen Cocoon to reach it." He saw Aqua's eyebrows furrow, and he was sure she was familiar with what they encountered. She probably did so when she was stuck in the Realm of Darkness.

"Well, it's good to see you guys back," Ven said with a small nod and a smile, speaking to all three of them. He noticed Lightning looked a little distracted, but he would let it go. Right now, he was just so glad to see her again. It had been a while, since when he came back from his trip to the Realm of Darkness, they split up right away to hunt down Orphan.

"I agree wholeheartedly," King Mickey said with a smile, finding his voice for the first time since he saw his long-time friend amongst them. Ansem the Wise. It had been such a long time since he had seen him; he assumed that he perished. But he was alive. That was what made Mickey smile, despite the sad update he had just been giving the others. It also made Ansem smile faintly, not that he was surprised.

Aqua smiled only briefly, unable to be completely cheery about their return. "The King was just informing us of some...disheartening news," she said, her eyes softening. Kairi had gone missing as well, just like Sora.

Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, his focus moving to the King. "Your Majesty?" he asked. What was the matter? What'd they miss?

King Mickey frowned, looking down at the table that he was sitting at. "Well, Sora disappeared about four days ago..." he said, lifting his gaze to Riku since he was the only one clueless to that. Well, Ansem was too, but Riku was Sora's best friend. The only reason that he didn't know was because he was still in Darkness when Sora first vanished.
"What?" Riku gasped, taking a small step forward. Did the others know this entire time and neglect to tell him? He could have looked for Sora! It had been four days, and there was still no sign of him... Oh no.

"...And when Kairi found out about a day ago, she took one of my Star Shards and went to search for him," King Mickey said, shaking his head. "Nobody's seen or heard from her now." He could only hope that she ran into Sora, but it was unlikely. Nobody else ran into Sora and they were traveling around the worlds for days. It didn't look good, for Sora or for Kairi.
Riku's eyes widened behind his blindfold, the girl who was like his younger sister having gone missing too. "Oh no," he said, lifting a hand to his head as he lowered it. He had to go look for them. The likelihood of them meeting each other out there was slim to none; he had to find Kairi first, since she was more vulnerable.

The room was silent now, and for good reason. That was all terrible news. Light couldn't help but feel a little guilty; she was the one who encouraged Sora to go out on his own to try and save Roxas and Namine. She wouldn't have been surprised if Master Eraqus held it against her and blamed it all on her; he had a habit of showing off her flaws.

"Kairi's been training with King Mickey for a while now," Aqua pointed out gently, seeing Riku's posture. "She should be able to hold her own against the Heartless and Nobodies. I only fear that she'll run into Xehanort and his allies." If that happened, there was really a problem. The same with Sora.

"I need to find Kairi first," Riku stated, lowering his hand from his head. He wasn't about to let his best friend's fiance wander around with hardly enough training under her belt. He was still the protective older brother of the trio, and he wasn't about to lose that title now.

Lightning unfolded her arms, looking over at Riku. "I'll come with," she said automatically. As if she would be separated from Riku after all that happened. She didn't care if she was still recovering from the Realm of Darkness and a bunch of other crazy days. Sadly, there was no time to relax. Time wasn't on their side yet again.
Riku shook his head, turning slightly to look in Lightning's direction. "You should rest. You've been running nonstop for days," he said. He'd been able to rest occasionally, but she hadn't. He would go out on his own.
  • Author
Lightning shrugged, staying silent. She didn't care if she was running around. She got a little bit of rest in the Realm of Darkness; it would be just enough to sustain her to search for Sora and Kairi. She doubted Riku would stay out too long, because he was probably exhausted too. All of them were because of Xehanort and his minions.
Riku sighed, looking away as he ran a hand through his silver hair. "Alright," he said, turning his attention to the others then. "We'll be back in a little while." He turned then, starting out of the room. He got a few "good lucks" as he left, and he was sure Lightning would follow. They wouldn't be out too long.

Lightning walked behind Riku, though she quickly caught up to him and walked by his side. She didn't say anything though. What was there to say? His two best friends were missing. She should have told him about Sora sooner, but there really hadn't been any time. First there was Ansem, then the Realm of Darkness with that monster and Caius. She blinked at the remembrance of the man, haunted by the experience.
Kairi, why did you wander off on your own? Riku couldn't help but wonder, walking down the hall with Lightning at his side. He took a turn and started out of the castle, prepared to summon his glider so he and Light could take off. He debated on which world to search first; there were so many. Kairi could be on any of them.
