Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora glanced down at Kairi in his lap, lifting one of his hands to sit on the top of her red hair. After his hand was in place, he lifted his gaze to the sky, which was a big mistake. He winced and shut his eyes tightly, the light making his headache worse. Even when there weren't Heartless or Nobodies around, there wasn't a chance to experience complete peace.
Kairi let her gaze flicker to Sora, able to see his expression even from her place below. "Headache again?" she asked softly. She wondered if cure spells did anything for those, or any healing potions at all. She hated to see him suffer from something he couldn't control.

Sora's eyebrows remained furrowed, not only because of the headache, but because of Kairi noticing. "Yeah," he said with a small nod. "But I'm okay." He was getting used to it now. It was a rare moment when his head wasn't pounding or his heart wasn't racing. These visions were taking a toll on him, all the while giving him absolutely pointless visions. And it was creating hallucinations. He thought he was seeing people in Organization cloaks almost everywhere they went, but there was nobody there.
"Will anything help?" Kairi asked, moving her hand from the grass to touch Sora's arm closest to her. Would a potion help, or an elixir? Kairi had some still in stock. She could give one to him, and would gladly do so. Sora needed to rest after they have been running around so much.

Sora shook his head faintly, looking down at Kairi with soft blue eyes. "Nothing helps," he stated softly. He noticed it whenever he used a Cure spell in battle. The headaches were unaffected by any magic spells. It was okay though; he would deal with it. He didn't have much other choice.
Kairi's eyes softened as she lifted her hand to cup Sora's cheek. "I love you," she told him gently. "If there's anything I can do, you let me know. Okay?" She wouldn't let him suffer alone. Whatever weight was on his shoulders, she would carry it too.

Sora felt a weak smile tug at his lips at Kairi's words. He nodded faintly to her, his hand still sitting on the top of her head as he gazed down at her. "Will do," he said softly. He'd tell her if something could help, but right now, he couldn't think of anything. He always did like it when she played with his hair though; that was relaxing.
Kairi smiled, letting her hand move the wisps of Sora's hair that were in his eyes. Even if she couldn't fight as well as he could, she would do her best to protect him. She owed him that much, after all of the protecting and saving he'd done for her.

Sora shut his eyes when Kairi's fingers brushed away his hair, the fingertips also running over a part of the scar. The scar didn't hurt now, but he still hated seeing any reflection of himself. It was a reminder of his cockiness. Well, he learned his lesson: he wouldn't be cocky going into a battle again. He just hoped he got some of his confidence back, because confidence was not the same as cockiness.
Kairi's smile disappeared when her fingertips brushed the scar, and she lowered her hand to sit up. She looked at Sora as a memory ran through her mind, one of Aqua telling her that she could use the power of Light to heal, since it was so abundant in her heart. No Darkness, just Light. No pain, just healing.

Sora kept his eyes shut, though his hand did fall to the ground when Kairi sat up. He knew that she was looking at the scar; he could sense it. Even if a part of it was hidden by his hair, it was still pretty clear that he was marked. Sora didn't know how he would face his other friends; it had been really, really hard just facing Kairi.
Kairi shifted so she was on her knees beside Sora, and she placed a hand on his shoulder as she gazed at the scar. "....Hold still, okay?" she asked softly. She was going to try something that Aqua said she could do. She could only pray it didn't backfire...

Sora opened his eyes, looking over at Kairi with bright, confused blue eyes. "What? Why?" he asked softly, trying to read her expression. It was such a random request that he couldn't help but be curious. Why would he have to sit still?
"I'm going to try something," Kairi told Sora gently, her periwinkle eyes resting on his blue. He appeared confused, but he had nothing to be afraid of. She wouldn't hurt him. She wouldn't let her Light do that to him. "Trust me..."

I don't know what you're talking about...but okay. Sora nodded faintly, shutting his eyes as he remained still. Whatever Kairi was going to do, he did trust her. She wouldn't do anything to hurt him; never. That wasn't how you treated the people that you love.
Kairi lifted her free hand to sit on Sora's scar, her fingertips resting against the mark gently. She then closed her eyes, releasing a calming breath as she focused on the power within her heart. It took a moment, but when focused on Sora's imperfection, she felt warmth spread through her body. It traveled down her arm, through her hand and fingertips, onto his scar. If she opened her eyes, she would have seen the light that glowed over the scar, but she focused on releasing some of her Light onto the Darkness that had marked the person she loved.

Sora kept his eyes shut, though his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly when he sensed a great amount of warmth coming from Kairi's fingertips and touching his scar. Was she trying some magic spell that she learned from the King? He didn't want to get his hopes up, but it sort of felt like it was doing something...
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed over her closed eyes as she felt the Light leave her and brush over Sora's scar. When she began to feel lightheaded, she stopped. Releasing a breath, Kairi pulled her hand away, opening her eyes. It was then that she saw Sora's face...and how it was clear of any marks. I did it....

Sora hesitantly opened his eyes when Kairi's hand was gone, his eyes immediately landing on her bright blue ones. Why are you...looking at me, like that? he silently wondered, seeing how she appeared to be stunned. Was the scar in worse shape now? Or was it...?
Kairi instantly smiled, both triumphantly and happily. "I did it!" she squealed, bringing her hands to her mouth as she gazed at Sora's face. The scar was actually gone! Aqua was right!

Sora's eyes widened at the words, and for once, he wasn't totally clueless about what she could be referring to. The scar...Did she...? He lifted a hand and touched it with his fingertips cautiously, though he was surprised when he felt nothing but smooth skin. He grunted and touched it more before his eyes went back to his fiance. "You mean...?" The scar was gone?!
Kairi nodded at Sora's look, lowering her hands to reveal her gleeful smile. She had actually used her powers to heal him, and not through a cure spell. It was through her heart, and that was what felt so good.

Sora laughed triumphantly, though the triumph was Kairi's. At the thought of the girl, he lifted a hand and set it on the back of her neck as he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. She did it! Somehow, she was able to get rid of the scar that was always mocking him. He couldn't believe that it was truly gone...It was a miracle.
Kairi was surprised by the kiss, but she welcomed it anyway. She lifted a hand to rest on Sora's cheek, the girl's eyes falling shut at the kiss, though she could barely conceal the smile. She was so happy her powers actually worked! And she didn't need the Keyblade either, which definitely felt good.

Sora, just like he started the kiss, ended it. He pulled back and looked at Kairi with sparkling blue eyes, chuckling once in happiness. But then the happiness faded. His head started pounding as more visions and streams of data appeared, more than any other time that this happened. He squeezed his eyes shut and lifted a hand to his head, fingers intertwined with his hair. Visions of people in Organization cloaks flooded his head, along with Heartless he remembered fighting in the past.
