Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi opened her eyes when the kiss ended, but when she saw Sora's position, they widened. "Sora?" she said in fear, moving her hand from his face to his shoulder. What was the matter? Was he having visions again?

Sora could only grunt, not only to show Kairi that he heard her but also to show that he was in pain. The data just wouldn't stop coming! All this pointless stuff about different members of the Organization, their lives as Somebodies and their existence as Heartless and Nobodies. It was all completely random. And completely overwhelming.
Kairi could only stare at Sora in silence, gripping his shoulder tightly as she waited for the spell to be over. His visions came and went, and he would have to tough it out in order to get through it. Stay strong...

Sora's visions faded away after a few agonizing moments, the teen starting to come back to reality as he felt Kairi's hand tightly gripping his shoulder. He leaned forward and lightly connected his forehead with Kairi's in weakness, his expression reflecting that along with his actions. His hand lowered from his head as he exhaled a heavy breath. What was all that?
Kairi moved her hand to play with some spikes on the back of Sora's neck, aware that the action usually calmed him. "It's okay," she whispered soothingly, closing her eyes as she kept her forehead against his. She hated these visions he got; they caused him pain.

Sora heard the soft spoken words of his fiance, also feeling her playing with the spikes that were right against the back of his neck. He just wanted to melt away at the sensation but his mind was still racing. All the information that he just got was about the Organization's members. But the Organization was toast; he was sure of it. ...But if they were, why did he hallucinate that people in the coats were everywhere? Was his mind trying to tell him something here?

"How touching."

Kairi pulled away slightly, a gasp leaving her lips as she turned her head. She stiffened instantly at the figure she saw, releasing Sora. The fear was briefly in her eyes, but she concealed it with anger. He hurt Sora...and Riku, and took Roxas and Namine. He was going to pay for this.

Xemnas stood on the other side of Sunset Hill, his hands linked behind his back as he gazed at the happy couple. Happy...he mocked with a smirk. It won't last long.

Sora pulled his head away the moment Xemnas appeared, the brunet's eyes narrowing. He'd have to put the vision interpretation on hold; they had bigger problems now. He pushed himself up to his feet quickly and stood slightly in front of Kairi. What his body didn't shield from Xemnas, the Keyblade that appeared in his hand did. He wouldn't let Xemnas get to her.

Kairi rose slowly to her feet, glancing at Sora. She appreciated that he was willing to stand up for her, protect her, save her. But she could take care of herself...at least a little bit. Her eyes moved to Xemnas at that moment, catching the mocking smirk on his face.

Xemnas let his eyes dance over the couple with amusement. "You humor me, Sora," he chimed. "As do you, Princess Kairi." He caught the girl blink at the title, and he knew she hadn't heard the name in quite a while. "You think you stand a chance against me. The boy has no mental stability; thus his attacks will be reckless and uncoordinated. And the Princess hasn't the ability to protect herself against a simple Neoshadow." He hummed, shaking his head. "How do we go about this? Surely fighting is out of the question; you will lose, and I know you don't want that."

Sora's eyebrows furrowed as he fought the urge to growl. "I already lost to you once, Xemnas," he said, taking a small step forward as he summoned another Keyblade and pointed it at the Nobody. "I won't make that mistake again." If he thought he was going down that easily, he was mistaken. But how did Xemnas know that his head was funny right now?

"Highly doubtful," Xemnas declared with confidence. He didn't blink at the extra Keyblade, though he did eye it. "Unfortunately for you, by the time I'm through with you, your precious fiance's powers of Light will not even heal you."

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed at the words even more, the words striking a nerve. She would help Sora! And her Light could defeat any Darkness Xemnas used! I'll prove it, she thought. Kairi grunted, summoning her Keyblade as she ran past Sora and tossed a Fire spell Xemnas's way. Unfortunately, he blocked it, but she didn't hesitate, summoning a Thunder spell instead; he couldn't block that so easily.

Sora's eyes widened in terror when Kairi initiated battle with Xemnas. No! She couldn't fight this battle! "Kairi, are you nuts?!" Sora hissed as he ran forward, swinging his weapons at Xemnas so that he didn't retaliate against her. "Run!" They made a promise: he'd give her a chance and she'd leave a battle whenever he told her to. He was telling her now. This battle was too dangerous for her.
"No! I'm not leaving," Kairi stubbornly refused, going to attack Xemnas's side. He swiftly, however, blocked it with a second saber, the other holding up against Sora's weapon. She grunted, feeling the power behind just their weapons clashing. She had never taken on a supervillain before, but she would do her best.

"This isn't a debate!" Sora cried, pressing his one weapon against Xemnas's as his other went in to stab him. He wasn't giving Kairi an option. They made a deal! He gave her chances in plenty of other battles to help her gain experience, but this one would be too much for her. She had to go!
"I don't care!" Kairi cried, seeing Xemnas dodge Sora's attack with ease. He then went for her, causing her eyes to widen from their narrowed state. Grunting, Kairi did a back handspring, dodging his attacks before casting a shield around her to deflect a blow that he delivered right to her chest. She winced, feeling the pressure in just her barrier.

Sora charged for Xemnas and swung both his Keyblades at the same time, a battle cry leaving him in anger and frustration. "You promised!" his heart cried, saying the words that he didn't dare say aloud. Kairi promised that she would listen to him, and he trusted her. Now her ego was getting the better of her, just like it did Sora last time he faced Xemnas.
Kairi's shield vanished as Xemnas cried out from the hit, the man getting thrown to the side and away from her. She could only stare at Sora, though, her eyes wide at the words he silently transferred to her. "I..." she tried, though she was speechless. I promised...

Sora didn't hear Kairi's stutter, only running after Xemnas as he called upon Thunder to weaken him for a physical attack. He would keep him away from Kairi. It was all that he could do if she wasn't going to leave like he demanded her to. The fact that she was disobeying an order like that and breaking an promise only added to Sora's anger, but he directed it at Xemnas.
Xemnas could feel the Keyblader's anger coming through his attacks, and the Nobody accepted it as a challenge. He grunted at the lightning that hit him, doubling over slightly as he tried to recover. Sora could attack him all he wanted, but Xemnas knew his true weakness: Kairi.

Sora ran forward and impacted Xemnas with both of his weapons, this time launching him in the air. He grunted and pushed off on his feet, swinging both his weapons at the Nobody again. He would pay for what happened the other day, for threatening Kairi, and for taking Roxas and Namine captive. He would pay dearly.
Kairi watched Sora, stunned for that moment before she finally recovered. "Fire!" she cried, lifting her Keyblade above her head as numerous fireballs left her weapon and flew towards Xemnas to help take him down. Yelps of pain left him, as well as grunts, but she knew a lot of the damage was coming from Sora. Not her.

With a battle cry, Sora swung his Keyblades in a crisscross and sent Xemnas flying back down towards the ground. The brunet also landed on the ground a few feet away, eyes narrowed in seriousness. Until he saw Kairi's fire attacks, he thought that perhaps she came to her senses and left the fight to him. Unfortunately, he was wrong.
Kairi saw Xemnas on the ground and heard him groan, but she didn't hesitate running toward him. She would show Sora that she could do this! She may not have been as strong as him, but she was strong enough to handle her own! Kairi caught Xemnas just as he was getting up, and she slashed at him, striking him across the side.

"Kairi!" Sora scolded, looking over at Kairi when she was right there beside him hitting Xemnas. Would you knock it off already?! This isn't a game! This wasn't some chance for her to fight and prove that she could hold her own. This was why he didn't want her along in the first place. She was adopting his ego.

Xemnas dodged the next attack Kairi threw at him, teleporting as she swung right through where he was standing a second before. He then smirked, a few feet away as he looked at the back of her form. "You should have listened to him, Princess."

Kairi turned at the voice, though that was all she had time for. A blue surge of energy shot toward her, and a whine left her in fear and startlement. It was then that pain wracked her entire body, a blue orb of the energy surrounding her and lifting her off the ground. It felt like fire against her skin; she could feel the life leaving her, her skin being scarred from the burns. "Sora!"
