Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"For your first time against somebody with a weapon, it was better than I expected," Riku said honestly, looking down at his best friend before he moved over a few feet. He then collapsed onto the sand, lying on his back. He was tired, and needed to catch his breath.

Sora blinked in surprise when Riku collapsed in the sand, but he could tell that it wasn't a faint and he was just relaxing. Sora thought it was a good idea, so he moved a few feet away from the water as well and fell down onto his back, a faint grunt leaving him when he felt soreness.
Kairi pushed herself off the dock with a small grunt, but then she immediately started over toward her boys. She had a faint smile on her face, mostly in amusement. Those two pushed themselves so hard, and she sometimes didn't know why. But today was Training Day. It was obviously necessary.

Sora shut his eyes, exhaling a breath as he tried to tone down his heavier breathing. It was so much harder, fighting without a weapon. He really hoped he got the Keyblade back soon...

Kairi came to a stop next to Riku, who had been closest to the dock. She looked down at both him and Sora, shaking her head with a fainst smile. "Have fun?" she asked, amusement obvious in her tone.

Riku grunted a response, his eyes still closed. Fun wasn't exactly the word, but it could have been a part of it.

Sora hummed slightly, though he wasn't sure what that hum was supposed to mean. Some parts were fun...sort of. But he didn't like how he lost so many fights. If he was put in a bad situation, he wouldn't be able to defend himself yet. And that was a stressful thought.

"You know, you wouldn't be this tired if you just listened to me," Kairi said, her eyes mostly on the oldest of the trio. "I told you not to be too rough, Riku."

"It was necessary," Riku replied quietly, an arm on his forehead as he kept his eyes shut. His breathing was calmer, but he was still exasperated.

Sora stayed silent, calming his breathing as he started to relax. Riku was right: it was necessary to be really rough. But Sora had noticed Riku go easy on him in a few ways, like ending a battle just by pointing the blade at his throat. If he had really been fighting him, he would have knocked him out.
"Okay, if you say so," Kairi said. She turned her head, now gazing at the ocean as it rolled in. She let there be silence, believing that the boys would like it better that way after a tiring session today.

Sora kept his eyes shut, still thinking over everything. That session had gone on for a while, and of course he had gotten hit by Riku's Keyblade during that time. It was unavoidable, since Riku had to fight as seriously as he could so Sora's training would actually do him good in battle. But now Sora was definitely feeling sore from the attacks.
Riku let the minutes pass by, and he eventually relaxed once his heartrate calmed. He set a hand on his stomach, his other going behind his head as he rested. This was nice; he remembered never being able to do this when he was away from home.

Sora had his hands by his sides in the sand, too tired to lift them and set them behind his head. And besides, the change in position would be painful. The teen took in a soft breath, hearing his friends being quiet next to him. Or were they even still there? He hadn't heard either of them leave, so he simply assumed that they were still with him.
Kairi looked down at her sneakers, and she decided that she wanted to go step in the cool water. She bent down, untying her shoes before quietly slipping them off. She set them to the side and then walked forward. She looked down at her feet when she felt the cool water tickle her toes, causing her to smile faintly. However, Kairi walked in further, getting her calves wet as the water came in.

Sora was unaware of what Kairi was doing, the teen just listening to the sounds of the birds and the ocean. This was the most peaceful silence he had experienced in a while, even if it wasn't completely nice because of his thoughts and nervousness about training. But the faint peace was still something he needed, so he welcomed it.
Kairi wiggled her toes in the water, linking her hands behind her back as she looked out at the sea. It was peaceful here, and she remembered telling Sora a few years ago that she was happy here. Going back to Radiant Garden had never been her first priority. The only reason she would really go back was because of her grandmother, but she was no longer there. This was home, and always would be. She had another family here.

Sora opened his eyes a crack, looking up to the sky and seeing that it was cloudless as usual. He loved the weather here; it was a little warm when he and Riku were training, but it was perfect for him to relax on the beach. He was sure his other friends felt the same way, especially the ones that were new to this place. Roxas, Namine, Terra, Aqua and Ven surely fell in love with this place--it was soothing and peaceful most of the time.
Kairi felt something tickle her leg, and that was when she saw a few fish swimming around where she was standing. She giggled slightly, a soft smile on her face. She didn't move, though, knowing that it would scare them and they would scurry away.

Sora opened his eyes fully when he heard Kairi giggle, and he automatically turned to look where she had been standing before. But when she wasn't there, he set his hands in the sand and pushed himself up into a sitting position, his eyes finding the girl standing in the ocean with her back to him.
Kairi turned her head, watching the colorful fish swim around her legs. One of them brushed her skin and she moved her leg because it tickled a little. But that little movement caused the fish to swim away, and she trailed their movement with her eyes. Oh well.
  • Author
Sora just watched her, unable to see the fish from his position. Honestly, even if he could have, his eyes still would have been on Kairi. He loved watching her when she didn't know; it was a way for him to see her in a natural way that sometimes wasn't present with the two of them. And now, he was just catching a glimpse of her beauty, not that he ever lost sight of it.
Kairi kept her hands at her sides then, feeling the small waves brush against her knees. The force behind it was slight, so she didn't have to step back because of it. Instead, she closed her eyes, just taking in this feeling. She was becoming happy again, feeling at peace. It was the first time in a long while that she felt that way.

Sora smiled softly, gazing at Kairi for a few more moments before he laid down on his back again and shut his eyes. Kairi was feeling at peace, and he wasn't about to let her realize that he was staring at her. That would have ruined everything.
Riku peeked open an eye when he heard movement beside him, but he just saw that Kairi was no longer on one side of him, but Sora was lying down on the other. He didn't think much of it, instead closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath. Right now, a nap sounded awfully nice.

Sora heard his stomach rumble, and he automatically brought a hand to his stomach to make it hush. Not now! Why did he always have to go through this when things were silent around him?
"Hmph," Riku laughed quietly, a small smile appearing on his lips. He heard that, Sora's stomach. No surprise, of course.
