Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Just forget it, Lightning told herself. Riku didn't mean anything by it. Keeping her eyes shut and her arm over Riku's waist, she decided it was best to just try and sleep. Staying awake and seething when she was tired and emotionally all over the place wasn't a healthy choice, especially since they'd be running around a lot the next day. It was time to rest up.

Castle of Dreams

Roxas walked through the residential area of the world, recognizing from past adventures that Cinderella was the Princess of Heart of this world. He passed what used to be her home, venturing into the forest area, where the Castle would be located a few miles ahead. It was dark, but he didn't mind. Right now, he was just focused on finding Namine. He made so many mistakes back in The World That Never Was... He needed to apologize, and beg for forgiveness.

Namine held onto Lisa's small hand, the little girl walking on her own for now. Even if it was nighttime, Axel's daughter was awake. Her sleep schedule was all off because of how the two had been running around lately. She was trying to find a way to take her to Disney Castle, but she wasn't sure how to get there. And even if she was using Dark Corridors, she had to use them sparingly. She didn't know how Lisa would react to too much Darkness. But of course, there were other concerns too. Just the other day, Namine ran into Xigbar, Demyx, and Vexen. She didn't even have time to question why they were back, what was important was that they didn't try attacking her. They mistook her for Larxene when she had her hood up! So, she avoided their questions by acting hissy like Larxene by sending lightning bolts their way before she left the scene. Luck was on her side with that incident. But she couldn't handle that happening again; she needed to get Lisa somewhere safe.
Roxas stared at the ground, shaking his head when he thought about all of the news he'd gotten recently. He ran into Sora by chance just the day before, told that the Organization was back. And through other routes he heard that Larxene had a hold of Axel's daughter...which meant something happened to Namine. She was either captured or... No, Roxas wouldn't think like that. The encounter they had before he left wasn't their last. He refused to believe it.

Namine looked around the forest area of the world, and from what she understood of the worlds, she understood that this one was Cinderella's. What was it called, The World of Dreams? Castle of Dreams? The latter sounded correct. It hardly mattered; her dreams weren't coming true tonight. Lisa stumbled and fell down, and because of Namine's tiredness, she went down to one knee next to her. Looks like I'll need to carry her again... Namine was exhausted, but she couldn't give up. Both their lives depended on her.
Roxas lifted his head, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw two people coming in his direction---Axel's daughter...and Larxene. "Hey!" he called out, voice sharp as he narrowed his eyes at the cloaked figure. "Let her go!" Axel's daughter had nothing to do with the troubles going on; she was innocent, and deserved to be out of harm's way.

Namine gasped at the voice, lifting her head to see who called for her to let go of Axel's daughter. But not only were they in the shadows, but the voice was also off from its usual tone. She couldn't pick out whether it was Riku, or Roxas, or somebody else. No matter the case, they weren't a native of this world. Namine tried to take her hand out of Lisa's, but the girl was holding onto her because she was afraid.
Roxas summoned Oblivion to his hand, stepping out of the darker forest to approach the witch in black. "Larxene," he said in a warning tone, demanding that she listen to what he said. If she didn't, she would pay the price. I said let go of her. Now.

Namine's eyes widened further when she saw who it was, and when she heard that name that was directed at her. She wasn't Larxene. But now she knew who the person in front of her was... "Roxas," she breathed. She lifted her free hand to her hood, lowering it so that he could see her face. She wasn't his enemy; it was the opposite of that.
Roxas's eyes widened, the boy blinking in shock as his Keyblade went slack in his hand. "...Namine?" he said breathlessly. His eyes weren't playing tricks on him, were they? She...was actually here? He walked a few more steps forward, only a few feet from his other half. This...is real?

Namine glanced down at the girl who was still clinging to her, gently lifted her free hand to free herself from Lisa's tight grip. It's okay, her actions seemed to say. It's Roxas. Roxas is here... She rose to her feet along with Lisa, who only had a hand set on her leg instead of clinging to her. In response to the boy she loved, Namine looked back at him and nodded faintly, at a loss for words. Roxas really was here...
Roxas smiled, closing the distance between himself and Namine in a few strides. He wrapped his arms around her, embracing her tightly as he let a weak chuckle of relief leave him. It's Namine... Namine's here...

Namine breathed a sigh of relief when Roxas's arms were around her, and it was then that she knew she really wasn't dreaming. She shut her eyes and embraced him back, her head finding his shoulder as her eyes shut. For the first time in a very long time, she let her guard down and let her shoulders slump in exhaustion. She was so relieved to see him. So, so relieved.
"...You're alright," Roxas muttered, eyes closed as he embraced the woman he loved. He couldn't believe this... He had thought for so long that she was hurt, or captured, or.... Roxas squeezed Namine gently, holding her more tightly. She was mistaken for Larxene all this time because she concealed her identity, and that was what saved her. It had to be.
  • Author
"Yeah," Namine breathed, feeling Roxas hold her more tightly. "I'm alright." Exhausted, but her spirits were lifted now that Roxas was here with her again. Even if he ran off on her before...She didn't care. Whenever Roxas ran off in the past, it was because he believed he had good reason to. That had to be the case now as well.
"I've been looking everywhere for you," Roxas explained, pulling back slightly so he could look at Namine's eyes. "After realizing how stupid I was...I just... I needed to see you again." He was an idiot; Xion was long gone, as she had been for the past few years. She no longer existed.

Namine opened her eyes and looked at Roxas's eyes, seeing how sincere he was. "It's okay," she said, faintly shaking her head. "I'm just glad to see you." She was curious about what went on and what brought him to this state, obviously, but it wasn't important right now. Axel's daughter was though.
Roxas nodded slightly, aware that he would have to apologize and beg for her forgiveness later. He sensed a pair of eyes on him that weren't Namine's, which caused him to turn his head. He looked down, seeing the little girl that obviously was part of Axel. "...Hi there," he greeted, smiling gently. He'd never met her before, but...he knew who she was from the picture.

Namine looked down at the girl who clung to the fabric of her cloak, a small smile on her lips. Lisa used to run up to every person she saw, but as soon as she realized that some people were dangerous, she became less hasty. "It's okay," she said gently to the little girl. Lisa's bright green eyes found Namine and gazed at her for a moment, but then she looked back to Roxas with a less defensive expression.
Roxas released Namine completely, kneeling down and offering out his hand. "I'm Roxas," he greeted with a small smile, his voice soft with the girl. "I'm your dad's best friend." They didn't keep in touch much, and Roxas did sense a bit of betrayal from Axel, but his friend did it for good reason. This little girl was it.

So, he does know, Namine thought, setting a hand on Lisa's blonde hair as the little girl reached out a hand and accepted Roxas's. At the same time, she said his name. That was what made Namine smile; Namine never referred to Roxas as her dad's best friend, so that meant that Axel spoke of Roxas before. The three of us are still friends after all.
Roxas smiled more, shaking Lisa's hand slightly. "You're very pretty," he commented lightly. "Does your dad ever tell you that?" The eyes were definitely Axel's, which made Roxas come to the conclusion that a lot of the other features belonged to Axel's wife....whoever she was. The two of them had some serious catching up to do.

"Uh-huh," Lisa hummed, her eyes dancing from the hand that held onto hers to the bright eyes of Roxas. Her daddy told her about Roxas a few times; he said that Roxas got into trouble a lot for wanting to do things his own way, but he had a good heart. He said the same about Namine, too.

"Good," Roxas said with a nod, releasing Lisa's hand after a small moment. "He's right." He flashed a grin Lisa's way before rising to his feet, his blue eyes landing on the person he loved. He was glad she was alright...and was brave enough to save Lisa. Namine's courage had grown, something he was proud of.

Namine heard Lisa giggle softly at Roxas's compliment, that small laugh keeping Namine's small smile present. When Roxas rose to his feet, she sensed that he was gazing at her again. She tore her gaze away from Lisa to look at her boyfriend, staying silent. She didn't know what to say, or what to do now. She had been running around for days trying to find a way to Disney Castle, but she hadn't found a way. Now that Roxas was here, he could just fly Lisa there, where she would be safe.
