Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Shut up," Sora mumbled to Riku, knowing he would be able to hear the soft-spoken words. He couldn't help it if his stomach always went off at the worst times possible.
"I could tell you the same thing," Riku replied smoothly. Of course, he was referring to Sora's loud stomach. He was always hungry, which was why Riku didn't take any offense to Sora's muttered words. This was typical.

"I can't help it," Sora said quietly, his voice defensive but at the same time realizing that Riku's reply was well worded. His stomach was so loud because Riku kept him out here for hours on end and he hadn't eaten in a while. He deserved the blame.
Riku opened his eyes, turning his head to look at his best friend beside him. "Nobody's stopping you from getting something to eat, you know," he said. But then he smirked. "Not that we could."

Sora opened his eyes and turned his head to Riku, rolling his eyes when he heard that last comment. "Too tired," he said. "Somebody thought it would be beneficial to beat me until my muscles felt like jello." Of course, it was worse than that because he felt pain, but he felt like his words conveyed his point.
Riku's smirk only remained. "Jello or not, you'll thank me when you face a bully at some point. I won't have to come save your sorry behind like I have in the past," he said quietly. His words referred to a couple years ago, before the Keyblade even happened. When they were in school, Sora got picked on by somebody Riku's age, but that only occurred once, for obvious reasons.

"Yeah, sure," Sora said while rolling his eyes, though he knew that Riku had a point. "But for now, you'll have to put up with my stomach." As if on cue, it rumbled again, and Sora tried to quiet it once more by lightly gripping his stomach. He was so hungry...
Riku shook his head, but turned his face back toward the sky as he closed his eyes. "Better than your whining," he muttered, beginning to relax again.

Sora's eyes automatically widened, and he turned a little bit to look at Riku. "Hey!" he whined in disapproval. Why'd he say that?!

Kairi turned around a little bit at the voice, her curious eyes finding Sora and Riku. She blinked in confusion, wondering what was going on.

Riku sighed, but didn't open his eyes. "Here we go..." he muttered. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, hearing Riku's comment and failing to notice Kairi watching them from the ocean. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it," he said, recalling that his mom told him that a hundred times when he was growing up.
Riku peeked an eye open, looking over at Sora. "Says the guy that told me to shut up," he retorted. And he was getting hollered at for being sarcastic? Yeah, that was fair.
  • Author
"It would be nice if you shut up," Sora said then, a slight smirk appearing on his lips because of his own humor. Of course, he wasn't really ticked off, and neither was Riku. This was just how they got.

"And it would be nice if you would quit your whining," Riku said, rolling his eyes as he closed them again. "There, now we're even. Now no more complaining."

Kairi couldn't help but smile, witnessing what was happening between her best friends from a distance. They were humorous, and she was glad things were getting back to the way they once were. Life wasn't the same if it wasn't like this.

An exasperated sigh left Sora's lips as he did as Riku instructed, not whining. But he did run his hand over the sand and throw some over at Riku just to spite him.
Riku felt the sand hit his hand that was resting on his stomach, and he sighed. "Mature of you," he commented lowly, lifting his hand and feeling some of the sand fall off his skin.

Sora turned his head so he was facing the sky again, laying on his back as he shut his eyes. "You started it," he returned evenly. Riku felt the need to make fun of him for his stomach, and that led to this whole thing.
Riku smiled a little. "Point being?" he said simply. So what, Sora was planning on finishing it? That was highly unlikely.
  • Author
"So you don't have the right to criticize me for being immature," Sora said, a smirk appearing on his lips again. He knew that he had a point there, and Riku couldn't deny the logic. At least, he hoped he couldn't.
"I'm pretty sure that you throwing sand at me is more immature than me making a comment about your stomach rumbling," Riku countered, opening his eyes to look over at Sora. Beat that, buddy.
  • Author
"No," Sora said, shaking his head in the sand and opening his eyes to stare at the sky. "Starting something just because you felt the need to pick on me was the most immature move."

"I didn't feel a need to pick on you," Riku said, defensive. "I just thought that it was typical that you would be hungry at a time like this. But if that's what you want, I'll pick on you in front of Kairi all day." He smirked in satisfaction, happy with what he said.

Kairi heard her name, and she shook her head, looking down at the water as it rushed by her legs. Boys...

"So that was why you laughed at me?" Sora challenged. "You weren't picking on me; you just randomly laughed because I'm hungry. That makes perfect sense..." Obviously he was sarcastic; Riku laughed at him because he thought it was an opportunity to pick on him.
Riku shook his head. "Nope, it was just funny," he said. "And typical, like I said before." Sora was always hungry anyway, so it was typical of him to have his stomach grumbling all the time.
  • Author
"Whatever you say, Riku..." Sora said, shutting his eyes once more as his head faced the sky. It seemed to him like he and Riku reached a stalemate; he couldn't come up with anything else to say.
