Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas had his hands tucked into his pockets, having shed his cloak a long time ago. He spotted Namine and nodded faintly, though his smile was gone now. He kept it when Lisa was around, but now that she wasn't...bad thoughts were returning. Ones involving Namine...and Xion.

Namine nodded faintly as well, realizing how serious Roxas's expression was. It made her worry about Axel's daughter. "Where's Lisa?" she asked with some worry, stopping in front of Roxas. She had taken her Organization cloak off, and now Terra had it; he said that he would take it to the King for her. He knew that she had things to speak to Roxas about.
"With the Queen," Roxas said softly. "She's fine." Namine had nothing to worry about involving Lisa anymore; the King said he would get in contact with Axel as soon as the worlds were safe again, so the little girl wasn't stuck here.

Namine felt her shoulders slump in relief, a sigh also leaving her lips as she lowered her head. She hadn't realized just how worried she got over that little girl. It was such a relief to know that she was safe.... And even more of a relief to know that Namine was actually strong enough to keep her promise to Axel. She never thought she'd be capable of doing something like that, but she did it.
Roxas lifted a hand from one of his pockets, placing it on Namine's shoulder. "Relax," he encouraged. "You did great the past few days." Now she could worry about other things, like keeping herself safe from harm. She now had the ability, apparently.

Namine nodded faintly, shutting her eyes to keep in the moisture that she held in. There was so much stress the past few days, but she didn't cry once in front of Lisa. She didn't show her fear. "I'm just...really relieved," she whispered. Lisa was finally safe...and she wasn't alone anymore. She knew she and Roxas had a lot to talk about, but she still loved him. That was enough for now.
"Mm," Roxas hummed softly. "Axel will owe you big time." He said it in good nature of course; he knew Namine wouldn't accept anything from Axel in the first place, since she was just that kind of person. That was what he admired about her, apart from her strength, bravery, and kindness.

Namine opened her eyes, blinking. Axel, owing her? "No, I don't think so," she said softly, lifting her gaze to Roxas and remaining serious. Did he know...that Axel nearly killed her? But he let her go, so if anything, she was in his debt. The chakram came so close to her head....She was so certain that she was going to die. It was absolutely terrifying.
Roxas's attempt at lightening the mood failed, and he awkwardly looked away. He knew why she said that, of course, having believed that Namine was dead for a while. Axel let her go, though. He would always be grateful to Axel for that...

As soon as Roxas started looking a little awkward, Namine realized that he hadn't been serious. Oh, crap... She glanced towards the ground, feeling awkward and guilty now. She guessed that it was just hard to be lighthearted, after everything that happened recently. And everything that was still happening.
Roxas lifted his free hand to the back of his head, running it over his shorter spikes. He wasn't sure what to say or do now, afraid that if he made the wrong move he would upset Namine somehow. He...wasn't the kindest to her the last time they saw each other, and he was sure she hadn't forgotten that. Namine never forgot anything so vital.

Namine shut her eyes briefly before opening them, looking up at Roxas again. "I think...It's time we talked, about what happened," she said softly, being the bold one for once. She wanted to know about Xion, and why Roxas ran off. It was because of her, wasn't it? Xion...was more important than Namine was.
"Mm. You're right," Roxas agreed softly, lowering his hand to stuff back into his pocket. "...Shall we?" He jerked his head toward the area that led to the castle courtyard, where they would be away from any listening ears. They could walk outside the premises leisurely, and he knew he didn't want to sit down; he was too antsy.

Namine nodded faintly and started walking, folding her arms over her chest. She would ask about Xion, but first, she would give Roxas a chance to explain himself. He already heard about what happened the past few days with her, and he probably heard the situation from Axel concerning his daughter and Namine's knowledge of his family. Roxas was probably caught up to speed.
Roxas followed Namine, his longer legs helping him catch up to her with ease. He walked out of the castle gardens and into the courtyard, wide and open spaces around them. He didn't say anything at first as they walked a small path, unsure of where to begin. What could he say?
  • Author
Namine looked down at the ground as they walked, realizing that she was dragging her feet. It was pretty obvious that Roxas would have to go first; he had the most to say. Namine was so confused, about Xion, and about him running off. And his behavior in The World That Never Was. He wasn't himself there.
Roxas knew that coming up with something corny was out of the question. The realization made him sigh roughly, his eyes shutting as they walked. "I'm sorry," he said then. "Everything was so strange and different, and just...weird. I wasn't thinking right." He lifted a hand to run roughly through his hair, shaking his head. What came over him?
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly, already knowing that was truth. Roxas was strange and different in that world, pacing all the time, making assumptions that she knew this girl. She had to ask again, though she was afraid Roxas would assume that she knew her once more. "Who is Xion?" she asked softly, looking back to the ground.
Roxas kept his eyes shut at the image that appeared in his head, of his best friend dying in his arms. "....My best friend," he revealed weakly. She was his best friend, but she was gone now. It upset him just remembering that moment in front of the clock tower; he had to fight her...and he was the one to kill her. That was what drove him crazy.
  • Author
Best friend? But I thought, Axel was your best friend. Or I was, Namine thought as she remained silent. Still, the fact that Roxas had such a close relation to Xion made her heart jump, and not in a good way. They were really, really close, weren't they?
"She....was a tool to the Organization, just like I was," Roxas remembered, opening his eyes to glare at the path ahead. "They realized that both of us could wield the Keyblade, but they tried to make it so she was the only one...since I was failing as their pawn." His past was messed up. He didn't like talking about it.
  • Author
Namine blinked, gazing straight ahead as she took in Roxas's words. Xion was a tool. She could wield the Keyblade. She was a pawn. All of this sounded so familiar to Namine, yet she couldn't remember any specifics. And she couldn't even remember Xion existing, let alone her face or any interaction she would have had with her. It was totally blank.
"In the end, I was the one who destroyed her," Roxas finally admitted, eyes softening as he remembered the look on her face. "...And she was okay with it." She looked...content as she died, turning to crystal before fading. She said her farewells, gave him some encouragement to end Xemnas, and a mission--free the hearts. He never did do that...
  • Author
"....She realized that only one of you could survive," Namine concluded aloud, though she wasn't concluding just from what Roxas told her. This all was so familiar...She did know Xion, didn't she? Or at least, she met her before. But Roxas already told her that, and she hadn't believed him before. She thought he was sick...
Roxas shook his head. "...I don't understand why it was me," he revealed lowly. "She was clearly stronger than I was, and smarter. She knew what was going on, and I was completley clueless. I was walking around with strings tied to my legs." He was a puppet, and Xion wouldn't have anything of the sort happening to her. That was why she fought back...and died.
