Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You're the same person as you've always been, even if you're just remembering this now," Namine said gently, lifting her hand to Roxas's face again as she looked into his eyes. He wasn't a monster. He was sincere, passionate, loving...He was her knight in shining armor--her guardian angel.
"But....I left you," Roxas admitted, voice weak from crying. He left Namine with Axel in the Castle when things were dangerous. He didn't even bother to say goodbye... If I'm the same person I've always been, does that mean I'm still...heartless?

"You weren't yourself then," Namine said softly. Roxas had said it himself; things were strange back there. He thought that she and Axel were friends again, so he probably left assuming that Axel wouldn't hurt his "friend". It nearly caused the opposite though, with him being ordered to kill her. But everything turned out okay.
Roxas exhaled a soft breath, closing his eyes. He knew he wasn't himself, and it was because of his concern over Xion...before he remembered her death. He didn't know what he was going to do with himself now. He loved Namine, he really did, and he wanted to be with her forever. But...it was going to be difficult now that he was mourning.
  • Author
Namine gently ran her thumb over Roxas's cheek again, bringing her head closer to his and leaning the side of her head against his. I'll stay with you, she silently told him. I know you regret running off, and mistaking me for her...It hurt, but you're hurting worse. The past few days taught her to put aside her own needs for the sake of others, and that was what she would do now for the man she loved.
Roxas let the side of his head lean against Namine's, sniffling quietly. "...Promise you won't leave," he requested weakly. He couldn't take it if another person he loved decided to disappear. He alread lost one, and his relationship with Namine was so vast and deep. He couldn't handle losing her.
  • Author
"I promise," Namine whispered, her eyes shutting as she kept stroking Roxas's cheek. Their relationship was worth fighting for. And Roxas was too. He was confused and hurting because of his past; Namine couldn't just leave him to suffer through that alone. She would be by his side, always. She hoped forever, though she didn't always hope to be called his girlfriend. Someday, she wanted to be his wife.
Roxas felt a slow breath leave his lips in relief, his shoulders relaxing slightly. "...Thank you," he whispered gently. He was happy to hear that; he needed a little reassurance in all of this. Back in the days when he was in the Organization, nothing was certain. In fact, everything was chaotic; he was never sure of anything.
  • Author
"Mm," Namine hummed, nodding faintly as well. You're welcome. She knew this road wouldn't be easy; mourning was terrible. It was something that she personally experienced in the past, and Roxas helped her through it all. Now she would do the same for him. Things would be okay again...someday.
Roxas moved one of his hands up Namine's back, keeping her close as he turned his head. He planted a light kiss in her blonde hair, eyes remaining closed. Honestly, he didn't know where he would be without her. The conclusion he could come to at that moment was death. He wouldn't have survived half of the stuff he went through in his life if it weren't for her.

A weak smile tugged at Namine's lips at the kiss, her eyes remaining shut. I love you, she thought again, though she didn't say it aloud. She moved her hand off his face and wrapped it around Roxas in a hug as she leaned into him a little more. She had to admit that she was still pretty exhausted, and tired of being on her feet. She hardly rested at all the past few days.
Roxas held Namine for a moment, opening his eyes to see the world around them. It was completely covered in sunlight, not a cloud in the sky. He spotted the castle not too far off. "...Can we go back?" he asked softly. He hadn't slept in nearly two days, or eaten. He needed to rejuvenate.
  • Author
Namine pulled back from the hug, turning her head to see where Roxas was looking. The Castle. "Sure," she said quietly, nodding as well. She was ready to head back, and she would probably check on Lisa while she could. She knew that she was safe, but...Namine wanted to make sure that she wasn't scared or anything.
Roxas let his arms fall from around Namine, though he did reach for one of her hands. He wasn't letting go of her so easily, even physically. He would take one of the bedrooms to rest in, and he hoped Namine would join him. The last thing he wanted was to be alone.
  • Author
Namine saw Roxas reach for her hand, but she had a better idea. She stepped closer and wrapped her arm around his lower back, her other hand finding his as she wrapped his arm around her shoulders. She had missed him so much; they hadn't been this close since the return of Xehanort, which felt like ages ago.
Roxas looked down at Namine, smiling slightly at the turn she took. He accepted it, squeezing her hand as he started walking towards the castle. He needed to rest before they did anything involving Xehanort. He was mentally exhausted.

The Next Day, The Land of Departure

Everyone was in a conference room, sitting down. And by "everyone", Sora literally meant everyone. He, Kairi, Riku, Lightning, Roxas, Namine, Master Eraqus, Aqua, Ven, Terra, and King Mickey. But there was another one who was with them: Master Retlaw, Master Yen Sid's brother. He and Kairi managed to find him earlier that day, and upon filling him into the situation, he insisted that everyone was gathered so that he could tell them the plan he had to fix things. Sora was so relieved that he had something in mind, because the rest of them didn't. But Master Retlaw was also a nice man, much more friendly and less intimidating than his brother. It was good to have him aboard.

Retlaw sat in one of the chairs at the end of the table, facing everyone so he could see them. Many great warriors were before him, that much he recognized. And they sought his help, which he was willing to give. There was still some chatter, so he lifted his hands. "Quiet down, please," he called, his voice similar to his brother's. It was obvious they were related, though Retlaw neglected the beard his brother donned; he instead had a simple mustache and a full head of grey hair, his eyes dark and gentler. Yen Sid always had been the more serious one out of the two of them.

Kairi let her conversation with Namine drop, her attention being called to the man at the end of the table. He had laugh lines in his skin, which led her to believe he was more laid back than Master Yen Sid. But now, he looked entirely focused on their situation, not at ease. That was comforting, since they had a very serious problem on their hands.

Retlaw looked over everyone, their eyes resting on him. "I appreciate you all gathering at such short notice, but it has come to my attention" --he nodded to the couple who tracked him down-- "thanks to Sora and Kairi, that a great evil is upon us. The Darkness is very apparent, as it is spreading throughout our worlds, but Xehanort can be stopped."

We can't forget about the Organization, either, King Mickey added silently, though he knew that Master Retlaw was informed of that. Thanks to Namine, they at least knew of four more Organization members that were alive: Larxene, Xigbar, Vexen, and Demyx. They were some of the Organization's strongest, unfortunately. But then again, nobody from the Organization could be taken lightly. How did Master Retlaw plan on overcoming all these threats?

"As you all may know by now, Xehanort not only has the support of his remnants. The Organization members have been revived as well, though they come in three different forms--their Somebodies, Nobodies, and Heartless." Retlaw's eyes narrowed as he stared at his interlocked hands. "We also must deal with Vanitas and his spawn, the Unversed. Your battle from here on out is not going to be easy. In fact, it seems nearly impossible, but there is one route you may take to provide some further assistance."

  • Author
Lightning's eyes were narrowed as she sat at the table, next to Riku and Aqua as she gazed at the Master. What route would that be? she thought with some suspicion. She wasn't sure what to think of this "Master Retlaw". Sora and Kairi randomly found him and now he had all the answers to their problems? Why didn't he make himself known sooner if he noticed the trouble with the worlds and had a plan to fix it? Something didn't seem right here. She didn't like him.

Retlaw looked up to see a similar look on every warrior's face. "...You must revive the Keyblade wielders who lost their lives in the Keyblade Graveyard," he finally revealed, catching a few eyes widen. He was far from joking, however. It was possible, and necessary.

Aqua stared at Master Retlaw with confusion and surprise. All of those Keyblade wielders... There were so many. Was it really possible to revive all of them? True, they would outnumber Xehanort and his allies greatly if they fell through with the suggestion. But...why weren't they informed of this sooner?

  • Author
Terra blinked, his eyes widening briefly then narrowing. You want us to resurrect an army. This is dangerous business... Those warriors lost their lives in the Keyblade War. From what Terra understood, they were all lusting after the power of Kingdom Hearts. Would those selfish Keyblade wielders really join their side? ...They have to. They're our only hope. We need them if we stand any chance against Xehanort's growing forces.

"As I understand," Retlaw continued, his eyes darting to three people in particular, "the three Keyblade wielders needed to summon Kingdom Hearts are in this room. Sora, Riku, King Mickey...the three of you are the ones who must call to Kingdom Hearts for the revival. Without its assistance, the act will not be possible."

Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked at the table, pondering how much could possibly go wrong with this idea. "...Is it possible for all of them to join forces with us?" he asked, his eyes finding Master Retlaw once again. "The Keyblade War involved fighters from both Light and Darkness. Who's to say those of Darkness won't join Master Xehanort?"

"Your intentions will be recognized by Kingdom Hearts," Retlaw answered. "It will release the hearts of those who will aid in your battle. You will have to trust that it will release the right ones."

  • Author
Sora nodded faintly, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. That makes sense, he thought. I'm in. But the wouldn't say that aloud right now; all of them needed to talk and agree on whether or not this was the right path to take or not. Right now though, it seemed like this was the only path they could take. What other choice did they have?
