Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra's small smile remained, though it was a sad smile. Now he was realizing just how much he missed Aqua lately, whether it was having her close or just looking into her eyes. He knew that his thoughts were the same as hers at that moment: Someday we'll be happy again. Together.
Aqua's eyes were soft as she gazed up at Terra, her thumb gliding gently over his cheek. "...I love you," she told him, voice soft. The room was already quiet, but they were so close that she didn't want to speak too loudly. She hadn't told him her feelings for a while, and she thought it was right to do so now, before they were torn apart again.

"I love you too," Terra said softly, aware that Aqua's words were not only sentimental but also a way of saying goodbye for now. "Stay safe." And hurry back. It was dangerous to go out alone, but he trusted that Aqua would only to go Master Yen Sid before coming back. She wasn't a reckless person.
Aqua nodded with the faintest of smiles before leaning up, giving Terra a small kiss on the lips to show her affection. She pulled away after a brief moment and looked up at him, backing out of his hold so she could depart. She would see him again, and soon.

Later, Master Yen Sid's Tower

Master Yen Sid sat at his usual desk, his book in front of him. He had been reading over some spells when Aqua entered his office a little while ago to speak with him. It was an unexpected visit, but he humored her by listening to her concerns about his brother, Master Retlaw. "I can assure you, Master Aqua, that my brother has no dark agenda," he said. "His heart is very pure; he could never set out to maliciously hurt anyone."

"But what if he's not looking to hurt anyone and simply seeking power?" Aqua suggested, eyebrows furrowed as she gazed at Master Yen Sid. "Specifically that of Kingdom Hearts? We'd be leading him right to it." She wasn't set on her friends being used as pawns. They were individuals, and deserved to be treated like them.

Master Yen Sid shook his head. "Master Retlaw's heart is incapable of feeling such lust and greed, especially at the expense of others," he said. "His heart is much like Ventus's, if that helps give you a picture of how pure his heart is. He is not so naive, but the pureness is the same." But...the pureness of heart was not always reflected in his actions. He had a pure heart and wanted what was best, but he realized sacrifices had to be made sometimes for the greater good. Master Yen Sid did not always approve of his actions, but it was not his place to say such things.

Aqua opened her mouth to reject this idea, but then Ventus's face popped into her mind. If what Master Yen Sid said was true, then how could she deny it? If Master Retlaw's heart was of that degree of Light, she couldn't really say anything. "...Y-yes, sir," she said, backing down. Her gaze dropped to the floor before she sighed. There was no way she could convince him of her and Lightning's doubts, that much was certain. It was time she left.

Master Yen Sid saw Aqua's expression, and he knew that she still had her doubts. "Has Master Retlaw done anything malicious since you've met him? Or anything questionable at all?" he asked the Keyblade Master. Something had to tip her off to there being a problem, which worried Master Yen Sid. His brother wasn't completely honest with them, or something of the sort. He had something planned (for the greater good) that he didn't want the young Keybladers knowing about.

"It's just..." Aqua shook her head slightly. "He told us of his knowledge about the Darkness threatening to take over our worlds. If so, he should have come to us sooner. That's what I don't understand. How could he have waited so long to help us?" He should have stepped out sooner, in her opinion. Half of their losses could have been avoided.

"Master Aqua," Yen Sid said, shaking his head slowly. She had yet to understand what her own Master was impressing on her. "This is not a crisis for our generation to solve. The fate of the worlds is in the hands of you and your comrades. I know that myself and my brother are willing to assist, but this is not our battle. It is yours. Does that make sense?" He and his brother wouldn't be around forever. If they solved this crisis, then the younger Keyblade wielders would never be fit to care for the worlds.

Aqua looked up at Master Yen Sid and slowly nodded. "Yes, sir. It does," she answered quietly. It may be their--her friends and her--responsibility to fix this, but still... "I should return to my friends." She bowed slightly before straightening. "Thank you for your help, Master." His words wouldn't go to waste.

Master Yen Sid nodded faintly to Master Aqua's words, that being the only response that he found necessary. He couldn't tell now if she believed his counsel or not, but it was not his place to force ideas on her. She would discover soon enough what type of a man his brother was.

Aqua turned and started for the door, opening and shutting it quietly behind her. She began her descent of the many staircases in the tower, aware that she needed to return to her friends. She also needed to speak to Lightning of what she was told.

The Keyblade Graveyard

Sora held his Keyblade by his side, the teen standing still as he looked up at the clouded sky. They were here to summon Kingdom Hearts, already. Not everyone came for this; it was only him, Kairi, Riku, the King, and Master Retlaw. He had expected Lightning to come, but she felt sick after their last meal for some reason. Regardless, he looked over to the girl who was standing beside him. She was here not only to support him, but Master Retlaw said that as a Princess of Heart, she could disperse the dark clouds of this world so that he, Riku and King Mickey (who were vastly spread out over the area, so far apart they couldn't see each other) could summon Kingdom Heart's power.

Kairi turned her head when she sensed Sora's gaze, meeting it. She was so distracted with his blue eyes that she missed the portal not too far off, up on a cliff, where one of their friends silently entered the scene. She nodded to her fiance with a small smile. She knew why she was here, as did he; she had to help summon Kingdom Hearts. Master Retlaw had explained that her Light would be needed to part the clouds that dimmed the area. Kairi was willing to do what she could in order to help her friends win this war, violence aside.

Sora smiled faintly at Kairi, lifting his free hand and squeezing her shoulder before it fell down to his side again. Once the clouds were parted, he would be the first to shoot a light at Kingdom Hearts. Master Retlaw would give him the cue; the Master wanted to make sure that everything went properly, so he was here with Kairi and Sora. Sora's beacon would be the cue that Riku and King Mickey would need to also shoot their beams at Kingdom Hearts. After that, the hearts of Keyblade warriors would return to the Keyblades that were scattered throughout the area and restore the lives of the warriors.

"Kairi," Master Retlaw called, catching the girl's attention. He waved a hand. "Come. We must begin." Everything was going according to plan. Everyone was in place. Kingdom Hearts would be summoned momentarily... It was perfect.

"Mm," Kairi hummed with a small nod. She glanced at Sora one more time before starting toward Master Retlaw. She was slightly nervous, but she knew she could complete her duty and help her friends.

Retlaw put a hand on Kairi's shoulder when she was close enough, positioning her. "Stand right here... Good," he said with a small smile. He kept his hand on her shoulder as he gazed at her. "Now, just relax and your powers will come to you. Once your job is finished, we will begin."

You can do it, babe, Sora thought silently, encouraging eyes resting on Kairi. She just had to do as Master Retlaw said. Plus, she was getting better at channeling her powers anyway. It seemed fairly simple, but even if it was more complex than he thought, he had faith that she could handle it. She had gotten stronger lately.
Kairi watched Master Retlaw back away, giving her room. She lifted her chin, locating in the sky where Kingdom Hearts would be momentarily. Her heart skipped at the thought, in which she lowered her head and lifted her hands to her chest. She covered her heart and exhaled, closing her eyes. Focus, she told herself silently. You can do this. Kairi took in a deep breath and relaxed, thinking of nothing but her powers. After a small minute of silence, she felt warmth spread through her body like wildfire, the spot underneath her hands briefly glowing with light.

You can do it...C'mon... Sora thought in encouragement, holding his Keyblade tightly by his side as he gazed at Kairi. He sensed the power growing in her heart, also seeing Light radiate from her. She was going to be able to do this. They were one step closer to ending this war! He was so happy...

The light that briefly radiated from Kairi's heart vanished, wind rolling through the empty space in the Keyblade Graveyard. It circled Kairi, her hair being pushed into one side of her face as she continued to focus. She could feel her Light finding its target, the clouds above everyone beginning to separate. But...Kairi wasn't feeling like herself. In fact, she started to feel light-headed. No, you're fine! she told herself stubbornly, eyebrows furrowing as her hair blew with the wind. She wasn't going to let a small inconvenience get in the way of their success.

Master Retlaw could barely conceal his smile, his eyes on the clouds as they began to move in the sky. He could see the faintest trace of the heart-shaped moon in the sky. She's doing it! he realized with triumph. The Princess was working her magic!

Sora grunted when he sensed something off in Kairi's heart, the teen taking a step forward to be closer even if a few feet separated them. Was something...wrong? No, what could possibly go wrong here? Master Retlaw would have told them if this was dangerous. The brunet shifted his gaze to the Keyblade Master, unconvinced of his own reassurances. He would have...Wouldn't he?

Retlaw sensed movement out of the corner of his eye and lowered his sight to see Sora. "No, Sora!" he called, his voice not distracting Kairi in the slightest. "You mustn't interrupt her process!" This would be all the energy the Princess had; if she was interrupted, they would have to wait to continue, and he wasn't planning on waiting any longer.

Sora stayed where he was, shifting his gaze from the man to Kairi and then back again. Something really felt off. "Is she okay?" he asked in worry. The feeling in his heart wasn't something that he could explain, but it felt like...It felt like he was losing Kairi. That wasn't possible though! She wouldn't be leaving him any time soon.
