Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"She's perfectly alright!" Retlaw called over the heavy winds, his eyes moving from the Keyblade wielder to the Princess. She was completely still, though he had no idea what was going on within the pure heart she held.

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed when a funny feeling came over her, her focus so heavily concentrated on her duty that she neglected to feel the blood that began to drip from her nose. She could feel the Light leaving her, the abundance of it draining just as it had when she healed Sora's scar. But this time...it was worse.

Sora looked back to Kairi. At the instance he saw her, his eyes widened. "No she's not." She wasn't okay. "Kairi!" He started running to close the distance between them, seeing that blood drip from her nose. Something was happening! She was hurting! This was not a part of the plan that I agreed to.

"No!" Retlaw roared. He had been standing closer to Kairi to begin with, and when he saw Sora closing in, he raced forward. He summoned his Keyblade and knocked the boy back. He would not have any intrusions!

Kairi's expression began to soften, the Light in her heart still removing the clouds from above. Kingdom Hearts was almost fully revealed now, the blue light beginning to shine down on her form. She was almost done. Just a little...a little bit farther, she told herself. However, she felt her knees starting to shake, a sign of her weakness.

Unprepared for the Master to actually summon his blade, Sora couldn't dodge him. He managed to lift his own Keyblade to deflect Master Retlaw's, but he was knocked back. He landed on his feet but stumbled to keep his footing. "Kairi!" he cried. "That's enough!" Kingdom Hearts was here; the clouds were gone. There was no need for her to keep doing this!
Kairi's arms fell from her chest, the girl opening her eyes to blankly stare ahead of her. Sora was there, past Master Retlaw, but he was blurry...and moving, or so she thought. The Princess swayed on her feet, blood trailing down her lips as her eyes went blank. Her eyes began to close as she tipped to the side, falling to the ground. Her collapse stirred up loose dust, the wind her powers summoned dying off.

Sora grunted, running past Master Retlaw to the girl on the ground. "Kai," he said hoarsely in worry, the teen wrapping an arm around her back as his Keyblade remained in the other. She was still breathing...but...he knew that he almost lost her just now. He had felt it in his heart, and he saw it in the blank look in her eyes. He looked up at Master Retlaw, eyes enraged. "What was that about?" he roared. "You didn't say she would get hurt!"

Master Retlaw turned to the boy holding his beloved, his eyes grave. "You never asked," he replied lowly, his Keyblade still resting in his hand. His grip tightened ever so slightly on it, though he lifted his gaze to the sky. "The deed is done. She's served her purpose." Now...if Sora didn't do his, the Princess would die. She almost did seconds ago, after all.

"You say that like she's just a tool!" Sora spat with disgust. And if she's a tool, then so are we. We're not going through with this anymore. He didn't get a chance to verbalize this though, hearing faint noise around him. Nobodies appeared in the near area, making his eyes widen. What were they doing here?!

"Summon Kingdom Hearts's power, Sora," Master Retlaw demanded, his eyes on the blue moon. He then lowered his gaze to the boy, aware that the Nobodies wouldn't hurt the older man. "Open Kingdom Hearts." The girl in his arms was nearly dead, incredibly close to losing her heart. The Nobodies would be ready to snatch it as soon as it left her body.

Sora's narrowed eyes landed on Master Retlaw, who wasn't so kind now. "No," he snarled, tightening his hold around Kairi's shoulders as her head was against his own shoulder. He wasn't going to summon Kingdom Hearts's power. Retlaw probably summoned the Nobodies to intimidate him, to force him into doing as he said. He wasn't going to fall for that trick.

"Do it or she dies," Master Retlaw demanded, lifting his Keyblade and pointing it at the redhead. "If you do not signal to your friends and open Kingdom Hearts, Kairi will suffer the consequences." He wasn't afraid to issue the threat, nor was he afraid to carry it out. He would do what was necessary to open Kingdom Hearts.

Sora didn't think that his glare could get more vicious, but that was what happened when he threatened Kairi. "You wouldn't dare..." he said lowly. Still, his grasp on Kairi tightened. Master Retlaw wouldn't be allowed to hurt her. He was her guardian; her lover. No way was he going to let her die today. But...no way was he going to just give into Master Retlaw, either. He couldn't get his hands on the power of Kingdom Hearts.

Master Retlaw smiled, but it was far from one of kindness. "I would," he replied in a similar tone. He took a step toward the young man holding his lover, but a figure appeared in front of him suddenly, landing on their feet.

Aqua swung her Keyblade to her side, standing in her defensive position. "Touch them and you will suffer the consequences, you fake!" she hissed, in front of the couple on the ground. She saw what just happened, and she wasn't going to sit around and watch any more of it.

Sora's eyes widened at the unexpected presence of his friend, though he was relieved. Man, am I glad to see you, he nearly said. But he was seething too much to make a comment that lighthearted. He shifted his gaze to Kairi, adjusting his hold on her as he summoned away his Keyblade. Now that Aqua was here, he wouldn't need to fight. He just had to focus on getting Kairi out of here, and telling Riku and the King that Retlaw wasn't completely honest with them.

"Master Aqua," Retlaw said lowly. "What a surprise. I thought I sensed an extra presence nearby." He would get her out of the way soon enough, though; she wouldn't stop him from reaching his goal.

"Quiet!" Aqua hissed. "I'm sick of your games. I knew from the beginning you weren't really who you said you were, and now you've shown your true colors! Back off and let them go. It's over!" She glared at the man before her for a moment before glancing over her shoulder at her friends. Seeing Kairi's state, the blood that stained her skin from her nose to her chin, was infuriating. She was unconscious, nearly dead, and that wasn't okay with either Aqua or Sora. This needed to stop, now.

Sora brought his other arm under Kairi's knees, the young man slowly and cautiously picking her up off the ground. The Nobodies around them weren't moving; they were only gazing at Kingdom Hearts. He didn't have time to wonder what was up though. He started backwards cautiously, keeping his eyes on Retlaw. This was over as soon as Sora left the scene; Retlaw needed him to get to Kingdom Hearts. That wasn't going to happen today.

"You're right, Master Aqua. It is over," Retlaw agreed, tightening his grip on his Keyblade. "Your life will meet its end!" He sprinted forward and clashed weapons with the other Master, the fight between the two beginning. She wasn't one to hold back, either, jumping right into it and pursuing him after she swung and he backed off. It was going to be a fight to the death.

Okay. Okay...Gotta get to Riku and tell him what's going on. He can tell the King what's up, and I'll get Kairi to safety... Sora turned around so he wasn't facing the battle once he backed away far enough, and that was just in time to see another threat. This one was one that he totally didn't see coming. Master Xehanort.

Master Xehanort hmphed at the situation, his Keyblade in his grasp by his side as he stood less than five feet in front of Sora and Kairi. He was fully aware of their plan, and though they probably expected him to fear the force they were summoning, they were mistaken. "Summon Kingdom Hearts's power, Sora," he said darkly. He wanted the Keyblade warriors to be resurrected. He wanted to learn about the Keyblade War.

Kairi tasted acid in her mouth, the taste disgusting her as faint sounds entered her ears. Did she hear...Aqua...and Master Xehanort? The last voice made her come to more quickly, if only a little bit. Her eyebrows furrowed, a small whine leaving her due to her chest hurting. All of the Light she used...it hurt her.

"I'll end it quickly for her if you don't," Master Xehanort added upon hearing the Princess's groan. He lifted his golden eyes to the brunet, a small smirk on his lips in satisfaction. Sora knew that he had no choice but to cooperate.

Sora's eyes were narrowed in disgust at Master Xehanort, his heart nearly pounding out of his chest because of the danger they were in. Still, he had to save Kairi... He shifted his hold on her so that he held her with one arm, holding her to his side tightly as his Keyblade faithfully appeared in his free hand. Slowly, he lifted it and pointed it at the sky, shooting off a beam of Light towards Kingdom Hearts.

Riku had been standing in wait for quite some time now, wondering what was taking so long. He had watched as the clouds parted because of Kairi's power, but after that, things were just quiet. But now he saw Sora's beam of Light, and he summoned his Keyblade to his hand. Pointing it towards the sky, he shot off his own, trusting the King to do the same.

Master Xehanort's eyes were filled with glee as the three beacons of Light released some of Kingdom Hearts's power. What Retlaw told the Keybladers was not a lie; the three of them were only summoning the hearts of the warriors who fell asleep in the Keyblade graveyard, not releasing all of its power. He watched as the hearts of all the warriors were released and soared to the Keyblades in the ground, where humans rematerialized by their Keyblades. Yes. Yes!

Kairi opened her eyes slightly, though all she saw was Sora's neck. "...Sora?" she whispered. What was going on? The sounds of battle nearby halted completely, though she wasn't sure why.

Aqua gasped, looking up at the sky as hearts rained down. She turned her head sharply to the side when she heard Keyblades being ripped from their places in the ground. Oh no... Retlaw was getting his wish!

Sora watched as Master Xehanort started closer to the Keyblade warriors, though he wasn't in the midst of them yet. He wouldn't have a chance to get that close. As soon as the Keyblade wielders gathered themselves and saw the enemies that they fought a long time ago, chaos ensued. The four different sections of Keyblade wielders broke out of their sections and charged at each other in one epic, messy clash. That's...insane! he thought, tilting his head slightly in confusion. What are they still fighting for?! Little did he know that Master Xehanort was having similar thoughts, considering them all to be "fools".

"No!" Aqua cried, reaching out to the many Keyblade wielders that ran past her and Retlaw to battle their enemies. "No, stop!" They couldn't fight like this! They would all just die! Aqua didn't want to see that happen, for one, but they also needed their help to defeat Xehanort!

Riku grunted in surprise when he saw what was happening near him. He was out of the way, but this still wasn't good. "What the...?" he muttered, looking around with wide eyes. The Keyblade War... It was starting from where it left off!
