Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked over and noticed that Master Xehanort was no longer where he was, and because of that, Sora quickly turned his head and looked around. Where'd he go?! But then he looked at the mob of fighters and saw him lingering by the outer edge, saying words that Sora couldn't hear over the violence. Whatever it was, Sora wished he hadn't said it. He heard the battle cries of many Keyblade warriors join together just before those that cried out (and Master Xehanort) vanished from the scene. Did he just...recruit them? Then he realized that was exactly what happened. Oh no...
Aqua looked around at the chaos that still ensued; Keybladers of Light, Twilight, and Nothingness were still battling, though many had disappeared. They were the warriors of Darkness, which made the young woman take a step forward in shock. "Xehanort..." she gasped. She thought she sensed his presence nearby, and he must have disappeared while she was busy staring at the scene. She turned her head to look at the boy still supporting his fiance. "Sora!" They had to put a stop to this, immediately!

Sora looked over at Aqua with wide eyes, still holding Kairi to his side as his Keyblade was limp in his other hand. He knew what that call meant; they had to stop this war. "Hey!" he hollered at the Keyblade warriors. There was no point in fighting! Things did die down when some of the warriors left, but it was still war.

King Mickey was quickly over at the scene, and he used his power to summon the power of Light. He shot it into the sky above the fighters and it burst like a firework, loud and bright. Somehow, it managed to stop the fighting, if only temporarily. "That's enough!" the mouse king shouted at the fighters, who were looking in his direction now as he stood several yards away from Sora.

Kairi shifted on her feet slightly, trying to hold her own weight. She lifted a hand and wiped the blood from her nose and chin, though she was sure traces of it still lingered. She eyed the people around her and Sora, as well as King Mickey, Aqua, and Master Retlaw. Riku squeezed through some of them to arrive as well, though he walked to be closer to her and Sora. "...Enough fighting," she requested weakly, still trying to gain her strength.

"All of you have been revived," Aqua called, seeing that the six of them gathered the attention of the warriors. She looked over the ones she could see, all of different builds and wearing armor as old as hers. "And it is not to continue this war. Look around, the warriors of Darkness have fled." But it wasn't because they were afraid of death; they were recruited.

"The warriors of Darkness have been recruited by Master Xehanort, a man who threatens the stability of the worlds in ways that none of you could imagine," King Mickey added, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. "It's a threat that we couldn't handle on our own, for more reasons than one. We want your help, if you're willin' to listen to us." He hoped that they were...If they weren't, then they were absolutely doomed.
"The King's right," Riku said, his eyebrows furrowing. "Fighting each other is pointless. It won't help any of you. But you can help us...and save your worlds." He looked around at the warriors standing still, staring at him and his friends. "But you have to cooperate with each other. Without teamwork, all of us will die." And he wasn't about to go anywhere. He had a life to live, and Xehanort wouldn't be the one ending it.

"You all have another chance at life," Sora added, his Keyblade still by his side just in case any of them decided to continue fighting. "I suggest you take advantage of that." And with that, he believed that he and his friends said all that they could to convince them. At least they weren't breaking out into fighting. Instead, they were talking amongst themselves, considering this choice. Things were looking a little better now.

Retlaw stood, locked in place, astounded by what just happened. He knew his words were correct, the truth, but he was still shocked to see so many Keyblade wielders before him and the others. But he didn't get to absorb it for long. Aqua pushed him roughly in the shoulder, causing him to stumble.

"You!" Aqua demanded, glaring at the man who pretended to be so loyal to them. "Look at my friends and tell them your true intentions. Let them hear it for themselves." He was a traitor, a man who put their lives at stake for his own selfish reasons. He deserved shame for his actions, but she would let him get that on his own.

Riku's eyes found Aqua at the words, his eyebrows furrowing. "...What's going on?" he asked, glancing at Sora and Kairi...who looked beaten up. He became concerned immediately. What happened here?

Sora's eyebrows were furrowed deeply as he looked from Retlaw to Riku. "Kairi nearly lost her heart when she parted the clouds for us to summon Kingdom Hearts," he said lowly to his best friend. He then looked back to the man responsible, though he was speaking of him as if he weren't there. "Something Master Retlaw 'conveniently' forgot to tell us." He was ticked off, to say the least.

Riku's eyes narrowed instantly, his hands balling into fists as he turned his head to glare at Retlaw. Kairi almost...died? That definitely wasn't okay with Riku, who let his eyes turn icy as he watched the man take a step back. "Forgot?" he repeated.

"If I had said anything, we would not have gotten this far," Retlaw said in his defense. "Even you can agree to that."

"At the cost of what? Kairi's life?" Riku took a step forward. "I don't think so. You're stupid to think it's going to be that easy."

"Master Retlaw, I'm disappointed in you," King Mickey said, shaking his head in disgust. "None of my friends should die; you have no idea what they've done for the worlds. Sacrificing them is not alright, for any reason." Kairi was a friend of his, and it hurt that he put her in this situation when he thought it would be safe for her. But Master Retlaw deceived them...All of them.

Retlaw let his eyes move to the King as he spoke, but then he looked to the Princess, who was still in her lover's arms. She looked at him with disgust, as did the others. "You all would have doubted me if I said otherwise," he replied. "Just as Master Aqua and the soldier did."

"Lightning?" Riku said instantly, blinking. What did she have to do with anything? And how did Retlaw know that she and Aqua doubted his ideas?

"She would have brought the entire plan to a halt," Retlaw defended, his eyes resting on the aqua ones of the Keyblade Master. "I had no choice but to stop her. She couldn't ruin this chance."

"What did you do to her?!" Riku roared, summoning his Keyblade to his hand. He recognized that some gazes were on him, and ones that didn't belong to his friends. The other Keybladers... They were watching.

Sora's wide eyes went to Riku, but he couldn't very well stop him from getting angry. After all, he just went through the same thing with Kairi a little while ago. He wouldn't have been too angry if Riku ran Master Retlaw through right now. His actions were completely inexcusable. It nearly cost Kairi her life, and now he was telling them that he hurt Lightning.

"I slipped a few drops of a potion into her last meal," Retlaw explained. "Her sickness is because of me." He gave her food poisoning on purpose, but it was for good reason. She would have stopped all of this from happening.

Riku's jaw locked instantly at the words, and he marched toward Retlaw to attack him outright. The only thing that made him stop was Aqua's shorter figure standing in front of him, one hand on his chest. He looked past her, though, to Retlaw. "You're gonna pay for this," he snapped. He wouldn't let him get away with hurting Lightning!

"Riku... Riku, listen to me," Aqua hissed, trying to get through his anger. "Don't do anything rash. If you strike him, the others will engage in battle." She met Riku's eyes briefly before he looked around at the people surrounding them. If anyone attacked, the others would follow suit. They had to set an example of their intentions, and right now, killing wasn't an option.

"Aqua's right," Sora agreed lowly, keeping am arm around Kairi. "We'll have to bring him to justice later." He summoned his Keyblade away, showing that he meant what he said. Right now, they had another problem to worry about. It seemed like the Keyblade warriors were all done discussing with each other, and now they were waiting to speak to them. The brunet turned his head to look at them more, seeing one leader from each group had stepped forward. The warrior of the Light was in a white-ish colored armor, the warrior of Nothingness in grey, and the warrior of Twilight in an interesting purple armor.
Kairi kept one hand at Sora's back, clutching the fabric as she did the same to his chest. She wasn't feeling herself just yet, but her state would have to wait. She looked at the warriors who stepped forward, seeing the others do the same. Were they going to agree to help them?

The Keyblade warrior who was the head of the Twilight Keybladers, a man named Kain Highwind, spoke for all the people. "We will assist you in this war," he declared, his voice low as he spoke to those who summoned them. "But we wish to meet the rest of your allies." He was sure that there were more of them, and he assumed that they would be taking leadership positions. As a leader of his fellow warriors, he wanted to know who he was working with, though he thought he knew one of them. Did the silver-haired teen say the name "Lightning"?
Aqua nodded to the warrior who spoke. "Of course," she said in agreement. It would be arranged, somehow, but even she knew no one would leave this place until Retlaw was dealt with. The warriors would have to wait just a little longer.

"We will await your return," another Keyblade warrior said, that man representing his people of the Light. As much as he disagreed with some of the philosophies of the people that were now his allies, they all could agree to put their issues aside and fight for the greater good. They had to save the worlds.

King Mickey turned to his friends, speaking up. "You guys can go ahead back and get everyone," he said. "I'll stay and tell them about Master Xehanort." There was a lot that they needed to be filled in about, that was for sure. Thankfully, he was caught up to date, so he could tell them everything.

"Right," Riku said with a small nod. He glanced over at Retlaw one more time, meeting the man's gaze only briefly before he summoned his armor. They needed to return to the Land of Departure. There, they could choose Retlaw's fate and speak with the others.

The Land of Departure

Lightning laid on a couch in one of the rooms by herself, laying in front of a cackling fire. Ven had lit it for her, saying that the warmth would make her feel better since she had the chills. But even with the fire and the warm blanket over her, she felt like garbage. She felt weak, tired, and pretty nauseous. Not only was she disgusted with the feeling of being sick, but she was also disgusted that she couldn't keep an eye on Retlaw like she promised Aqua. She was stuck here while he was in another world, getting whatever it was he wanted. The soldier let her eyes remain shut, her expression blank as she tried not to worry too much. It was out of her hands.

Riku landed in front of the castle, having arrived just after Aqua with the others behind him. He was worried over Kairi, but he was also concerned for Lightning's sake. He couldn't help but wonder how she was doing. His armor faded and he glanced over, watching Kairi carefully get off Sora's glider and Aqua grab Master Retlaw to lead him inside. They would gather everyone and speak of what happened; it couldn't go ignored.

Terra was still in The Land of Departure when everyone got back, though things clearly didn't go well. When Sora told him to get everyone to whichever living room was best for a conference, Terra took it upon himself to gather everyone while those who were gone went to the room he directed them to. That room was where Lightning was resting, and if she would be a part of the conversation, then it would be best to take it to her rather than forcing her to move. She was really feeling ill.
Riku walked into the room in which Terra directed them, his eyes looking from the fireplace to the woman on the couch. "Light," he called gently, approaching her as his eyes softened. She looked awful, which only made him more furious with Retlaw. He would pay for what he did to her, one way or another.

Light opened her shut eyes, laying on her side with a blanket up to her waist. At the voice, she turned her head to look at the source. Riku was back. "Hey," she greeted softly. His eyes were unreadable to her, which she wasn't sure was a good thing. Normally she could read him, but now she couldn't. Did that mean that something happened, and that her suspicions were right about Retlaw?
