Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...King Mickey is at the Keyblade Graveyard with the other warriors, waiting for all of us to meet him there," Sora said after a few moments of heavy silence, his hand still sitting on Kairi's hair. It was time that they headed back. He wondered if Kairi was up for it. Or Lightning, since she still was feeling ill from the potion Master Retlaw gave her.
Riku nodded, turning his head to look at Lightning. "Do you want to go?" he asked softly. If she wasn't feeling up to it, they would explain to the other warriors that one of them was sick and couldn't make it. They would understand.

Lightning looked up at Riku, thinking that the answer should have been obvious. But then again, she missed something important earlier that day because of this sickness. Regardless, she nodded faintly against his arm before she sat up more. "Yeah," she said softly. She wanted to go, because strategy would most likely be a topic with the meeting in that world. Strategy was what she excelled in.
Riku nodded slightly before looking to his friends. He was ready to go when they were, though his eyes lingered on Kairi. She still wasn't looking alright, but he knew she would try her hardest to go. She was stubborn in that way.

Sora moved around the seat, unaware that he wasn't the only one gazing at Kairi. He knelt down in front of her, one of his hands finding her knee as he looked at her with soft eyes. "What are you gonna do?" he asked softly. Was she going to stay here and rest, or was she going to try to tag along with them? She didn't really have to, since the warriors briefly met her earlier.
Kairi moved her eyes to look at her future husband, seeing the concern in his gaze. He was still worried about her, something she never second-guessed. She almost died... "I think I'll stay," she said softly. She still wasn't feeling well, and she was incredibly tired. Some sleep would do her some good.

Sora felt a faint smile tug at his lips, the teen a little surprised but pleased that Kairi wasn't going to be stubborn and go. He reached for her empty hand and gently lifted it to his lips, giving it a kiss. Thanks, babe, he thought silently, the words not transferring to her heart. He was glad she would stay and rest up.
Kairi smiled faintly at the kiss, her fingers curling around Sora's hand. She knew he was happy she stayed, since he was so worried over her condition. But she believed she'd be better if she just got some sleep. Her presence wouldn't make much of a difference this time.

Sora gently set Kairi's hand back in her lap, the teen rising to his feet as he looked down at her. "I'll try to come back as soon as I can," he said softly. If he didn't need to stay the whole time, he'd leave and come back so that Kairi wasn't alone. He didn't fear for her safety in this world right now; he figured Master Xehanort was busy preparing his army. Now, he and his friends would be doing the same.

"Mm," Kairi hummed with the same faint smile. She let her eyes find her other friends, seeing that they were gazing at her as well. "Good luck." They had many warriors to speak with, after all. It was going to take all of them to help get them in order and defeat Xehanort.

Roxas nodded, standing upright now, no longer leaning against the chair. He was aware that Namine would be coming along, since the warriors wanted to meet everyone that was on their side. She was one of them.

Namine rose to her feet, noticing Ven do the same. Terra was already on his feet, so he just started out of the room. It was time for all of them to go. She wasn't sure what to expect with this meeting, but she was just glad that the Keyblade wielders agreed to help them. With their help, things were finally turned in their favor.
Kairi watched her friends go, seeing Riku walk out with Lightning while Master Eraqus and Aqua also left. She would be left here alone, but she wouldn't do anything but sleep. She was sure she would still be unconscious when they returned, and wake up to find them here with her. She'd be fine.

The Keyblade Graveyard

Lightning was on the back of Riku's glider as they flew into the Keyblade Graveyard. Though she didn't normally come to this world, she could see a huge difference from the last time she was here. Instead of all those Keyblades just sitting around, they all had their masters holding them. "That's a lot of warriors," she said lowly, looking over all of them. That was more than she expected.

Riku smirked slightly at Lightning's words as he steered his glider towards the ground. The warriors started giving all of them space to land near the King, backing up so they could land safely. Riku lowered his glider to the ground and looked around, all eyes on him and his friends as they landed as well. They would have to do some serious strategizing.

Kain Highwind was glad that he was donned in his armor and his face was hidden, for his eyes rested on the warrior that got off the bike of the Keyblade wielder. It's her, he immediately realized. Lightning. But she wasn't looking at him; she was gazing over everyone in general. She didn't remember him, did she? He heard one of the other Keyblade warriors tisk in disgust at the "ordinary soldier", but he knew she was anything but ordinary.
Riku got off his glider and lifted his hands, pulling his helmet off and allowing the cool air to brush his face. His glider disappeared as he stood next to Lightning, his eyes resting on his friends before moving to her. He hoped she was feeling better, but he knew she would stubbornly push it behind her to focus on the task at hand. She was just like that.

Sora stepped forward in his group of friends, seeing that the other Keyblade warriors were all gazing at them. "This is everyone else," he said. "This is Roxas, Namine, Master Riku, Lightning, Ventus, Terra, and Masters Aqua and Eraqus." He motioned to every person as he introduced them to the warriors, though he then realized that he forgot to introduce himself. "And I'm Sora."

Roxas took off his helmet upon being introduced, breathing in some fresh air as he looked around. There's so many...he thought, eyebrows furrowing. How were they going to control all these people? He understood that they already sided with them, but still... They had to strategize, and it was going to be difficult with this many warriors and so few of them.

Riku took a small step forward, his helmet tucked under his arm. "Would the three leaders of their sides introduce themselves?" he called. It would be easier that way, to direct them. The leaders of those particular groups could pass messages on that Riku and the others couldn't do themselves.

Kain was already close to the front of the pack, and though his heart sped up at the sight of Lightning, he remained calm and listened as the two other leaders introduced themselves. He was the last one to say his name. "Kain Highwind, leader of the Keyblade wielders of Twilight," he said, his eyes dancing over all the Keybladers before they landed on Lightning. Her facial expression showed no recognition. ...That's sad.

Master Eraqus nodded. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, and thank you for becoming our allies," he began. "This war will not be easy, and our fighters are few compared to the numbers you three hold. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated." He started down the line of his friends. "The lot of us are equipped with Keyblades, much like yourselves. But two of ours are talented in other areas." He stopped beside Namine and placed a strong hand on her shoulder. "Miss Namine is trained in magic, His Majesty King Mickey training her in the art himself." He motioned to the mouse king before lifting his hand to direct the eyes of the warriors toward the soldier. "Lightning is highly trained in the use of magic, hand-to-hand combat, and has the appropriate skills for operating different types of weaponry."

Riku nodded, continuing on with what Master Eraqus said. "Before we arrived, we discussed who would be the one to lead the strategizing," he explained. He lifted a hand and lightly squeezed Lightning's shoulder. "We chose Lightning. She has the most experience in the field. A lot of direction will come from her, but we're willing to accept other ideas when it comes to strategy."

Prejudiced against those who were not Keyblade wielders and fighting along side them, the Keyblade warrior of Light scoffed. "We will not be following the strategy of somebody who the Keyblade has not chosen," he said boldly, his narrowed eyes meeting those of Lightning. Immediately he noticed her fight the urge to roll her eyes, though he didn't know that this was caused by the resistance she met from Master Eraqus for the same reasons.

Riku frowned, but he turned his head to look at the woman he loved. "You wanna prove it to them?" he asked softly, so only she could hear. It was best for her skills to be shown rather than told, that way everyone could see it for themselves.

"I'd be happy to," Lightning said lowly, stepping forward so that she was right in front of the Keyblade wielder. "I'm not chosen by the Keyblade, but I still have the power to fight in a war this substantial," she said coolly, staring up at the man who was much bigger and taller than she was. "You want a demonstration? Or are you just going to throw out judgmental words while Master Xehanort's preparing his army?"

Kain saw that it was a staring match between the warrior and Lightning, the former seething because of the tone she used with him. Even if he wouldn't take her up on that order, Kain decided that he would. "Gregory," he said to the man, calling his attention. "I'll test her." The man hmphed in satisfaction, stepping back as Kain stepped forward. He was prepared to fight, but not just to help her prove that she was a strong warrior, but to maybe jog her memory. They met before.

Riku smirked at Lightning's confident attitude, that being the old Lightning he once confronted himself. He backed up, along with a few other of his friends, to give both Kain and Light the room they needed for her to show her experience in battle. He knew she would prove she was better than they thought.

Kain glanced over at the mass of people to his right as Lightning did the same, the two of them then seeing a path that opened so they could go to a more open area. They walked past Lightning's group of friends and stopped in that area, the man summoning his Keyblade. It wasn't an ordinary Keyblade; it was more like a lance that had sharp, narrow key teeth on either side. Lightning eyed it, clearly having never seen a Keyblade like it before. Regardless, he saw her pull her sword and get into her own stance. It was time to start this fight, though he planned on being careful so he didn't hurt her.

Lightning held her gunblade down by her side, starting to walk to the side as Kain did the same. They were only circling, eyeing each other to try and figure out what the other was planning. He seemed patient; he wasn't just a muscle head. Hmphing, she decided that she would be the one to initiate the fight. She ran forward and swung her weapon at him, and thus their battle began.
