Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning wasn't expecting Riku to ruffle her hair, her mind still tactical and not relational. After a brief moment, she started making the transition. Scoffing softly to herself in amusement, she pushed herself out of the chair and followed Riku to their obvious destination: the bed.
Riku approached the bed with calm footsteps, though he undid his vest and stripped himself of his shirt completely. He was getting ready for bed, though he would stay up with Lightning if she wanted him to. Either way, relaxation would be involved.

Light sat down by the foot of the bed, taking off her boots. She was back in her regular outfit by now, having summoned her armor away a long time ago. But she couldn't keep thinking about things like that; it would always lead her back to thinking about the battle that would be fought soon. She had to calm down her mind, but she didn't know how to right now.
Riku hadn't sat down just yet, and after setting his shirt and vest on a chair in the room, he approached Lightning. Her second boot was already off, so he leaned down, placing his hands on either side of her on the bed. He looked her straight in the eye, just gazing at her. Ever since this whole thing started, he was very protective of her, and wanted nothing but the best for her. How could he give her that protection and happiness?

Light met Riku's aqua eyes and the thoughts of the battle momentarily faded. "Hi there," she said, arching a brow as her amusement also came across in her tone. She had thought he was going to crawl into bed right away, but apparently she was wrong. Obviously he wasn't planning on leaving the room though, since he took off his shirt already. What was he thinking?
Riku smirked at the greeting, though he didn't say anything. Why do you look so surprised? he wondered in silence. Lightning seemed shocked that he was this close, but...how close had they been lately? That was just the thing; they hadn't.

What's up? Lightning asked silently, her expression remaining at Riku's reaction. He was awfully quiet. But she didn't think that anything was wrong, because if it was, he wouldn't have been smirking at her right now. When he was serious, he was serious in every way.
"You need to relax," Riku whispered lowly, his face only mere centimeters from Lightning's. She still appeared tense, even though she did loosen up somewhat. Regardless, he was determined to make her comfortable again.

Light hmphed faintly, her expression softening as Riku got really close. "Not sure how to do that at the moment," she whispered back to him. She had been focused on tactics and strategy for hours now; it wasn't so easy to block that out of her head when she wasn't completely done with it. But she knew that he was right, and she did want to relax. She just wasn't sure how to.
Riku's smirk remained as he shook his head slightly, his eyes never leaving Lightning's. "Don't think about it," he encouraged lowly. You need to do anything but. He leaned forward then, connecting his lips with Lightning's. He would help her relax one of the best ways he knew how: intimacy.

Light was about to protest that it was impossible for her to not think about it, but Riku's lips against hers made her stay silent. Her eyes fell shut as she returned the kiss, the girl nearly getting chills because of how gentle it was. Slowly, she lifted her arms and let them find their way around Riku's neck, his warm skin against her arms.
Riku leaned forward a little more, letting one of his arms wrap around Light's lower back. He let the kiss continue, allowing the affection within him to flow from him to Lightning. He wanted her to feel the love he had for her, but he didn't think it was possible. He had more love for Lightning than he could fully express.

Lightning kept the kiss gentle, too tired for anything else. Her hand moved off Riku's back to sit in his silver hair, her fingers weaving between the locks as Light leaned into the kiss a little more. But then she pulled back from it, resting her forehead against Riku's as her eyes remained shut. That kiss was random, but she liked it. A lot.
Riku smiled as soon as the kiss ended, his eyes opening to look at the person directly in front of him. "...Relaxing yet?" he whispered. He knew he could do better, if it was necessary. His confidence wasn't for nothing, after all.

"Hmph," Lightning hummed, a small smirk appearing on her lips as her eyes remained shut. "Not quite yet," she whispered. Her mind was still racing; she couldn't fully appreciate the situation before her, even if her heart was beating a little faster than usual because of Riku's tone. He was in an awfully affectionate mood.
Riku's nose brushed Lightning's. "Should I try again?" he asked quietly. Because he would, in a heart beat. As he thought before, he would express as much adoration and affection toward Lightning as he could, while he had the chance.

"Do what you want," Lightning whispered in response, giving Riku permission to kiss her again. She felt that one arm that was still around her, along with the Eskimo kiss he just gave her. Just having him be so close, and so sincere was touching. But his physical warmth was also comforting; it contrasted the coldness that she felt in her heart lately.
"Hmph," Riku grunted softly, his smirk remaining as he closed the small gap between him and Lightning. He kissed her again, pulling her a little closer with his arm that was around her back, his strength proving useful here. He knew Lightning liked strong men, and if that made him more attractive in her eyes, the hard work was worth it.

Light felt Riku pull her closer, closer than he needed to for just a small kiss. She nearly smiled at that, but instead, she forced her smirk to fade completely as she kissed Riku back. And then she started to truly relax. Her shoulders slumped, her hand sinking out of Riku's hair to sit on his back like it had been before. Riku...
Riku gently ushered Lightning back as he leaned forward, his arm meeting the mattress as he supported her back. The kiss never halted, however, not that he was willing to have it do such a thing. Come tomorrow, they wouldn't have this kind of moment to themselves. From tomorrow on, it was all war. No affection or intimacy involved.

Light felt her back hit the mattress, though the movement that brought her to this position was gentle. Her arms tightened around Riku's back as he was close, the kiss continuing. She wanted him close...so badly. This fight had been going on for so long. She was ready for it to end, so that she and Riku could move on with their lives without fearing Ansem lurking in the background.
Riku let his one hand support his weight next to Lightning's head, as well as his one knee that was on the bed. He pulled back after a minute, opening his eyes to gaze at the woman below him. "...I love you," he whispered lowly. He didn't think he would ever fall in love, but he did...and with someone he was once--and only briefly--rivals with. But he wouldn't have it any other way. It got Lightning in his arms, and that was enough for him.

"I love you too," Lightning whispered, her arms still around Riku's back even if he pulled back. He was the only person that she ever loved. He brought out the best of her and helped her discover herself when she was lost. For that, she would always be grateful. She wasn't alone anymore, in anything.
Riku curled his hand against Lightning's clothing, his lips descending upon hers once again. He lowered himself slightly to warm her with his body heat, more of it available since his shirt was gone and forgotten. Tonight, he would devote himself to her and her only. The war could wait until the morning.

In another part of the castle, Namine laid down on the bed. She wasn't feeling sleepy at all, and she didn't think anyone else in the castle was either. Earlier when she went for a walk, a lot of people were just wandering around aimlessly, thinking about what was coming up. And she was doing the same. Only...her thoughts weren't on the battle specifically. They were on Axel, and his daughter, and his wife.
