Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

So...I saved him? Kairi turned her head to look back at the boy she loved, lifting a hand and gently setting it on his spiky brown hair so she wouldn't wake him. Namine was still busy, so she wouldn't ruin the progress. But...did she really make a big difference to Sora's safety a while ago?

"Namine, can you find the infected memories and disconnect the chains of Sora's memory to bury them so that they can't corrupt anything else?" Ansem the Wise asked the blonde, approaching her.

"I'm already doing that," Namine said, sketching on her pad as she kept working. She assumed that was what the plan was, so she went on ahead and started it. Sora couldn't stay asleep forever. But... "It looks like he probably won't remember much from the time that he was traveling alone," she said. A week's worth of memories would vanish from the memory that he could recall, but it would be alright. Sora said that during that time, all he did was try to figure out what was wrong with him and fight Heartless. Nothing too important happened.

Kairi ran her hand lightly through Sora's hair, gazing down at him. Just as long as he's okay... Nothing else matters. Sora needed to be alright, if not better, for the battle coming up. He was one of their main assets, of course.

"Alright," Ansem the Wise said with a small nod. "It's in your hands." She was the only one who could fix this mess. Thankfully, these streams of data were only triggered recently, so Namine wouldn't have to go through months of memories. Still, this would be a hard task for her. Looking at her now, he could already see her starting to get weary from the task. It certainly wasn't easy on her.

Roxas watched from a distance, still pressed against the wall. He would help Namine relax once she was done; even he could see that she was getting weak from this. He didn't like it, of course, but she had the ability to do this. She was meant to.

Namine worked carefully for the next hour, working carefully but quickly. If Sora was in a pod and his slumber was forced, then she could have taken her time a little more. But he was only taking sleeping pills right now, and he would wake up soon. They couldn't have that happening during the procedure. Still, she made sure not to skip over any bad memory and she disconnected the chains of his memory and then reconnected the memories that were alright. She finished just as he started to show signs of waking up. She sighed, leaning her head back against the couch and shutting her eyes. It was done.
Kairi was still by Sora's side, resting against the arm of the couch as she let her fingers glide through his hair. They had all been quiet for a long time, letting Namine do her work. But...now it seemed like she was done. Kairi glanced over as Roxas made his way toward Namine, probably to comfort her while Sora woke up.

"Well done, Namine," Ansem the Wise said, able to tell that she was able to finish with her work at just the right time. He noticed the blonde open her eyes and weakly gaze at him, nodding faintly in response to him. A weak smile appeared on his lips as he was grateful for the work that she did. "If I am needed any further, I will be around." He turned and left, giving the couples some privacy.

Sora thought he heard some muffled words, though he didn't understand them in his grogginess. He did feel a hand running through his hear though, and he immediately knew who that was. He lifted one of his hands and grasped it, feeling the sleeping medicine wear off. But he also felt very, very dazed. What happened?

Kairi blinked when Sora's hand grasped her own, though she did smile slightly. "C'mon, lazy bum. Wake up," she coaxed gently, the message tranferring through her heart to his. He had done well, staying asleep. She was sure it wasn't that difficult, since he loved getting naps in whenever he could.

Sora groaned slightly, keeping a hold on Kairi's hand. "That's not very nice, Kai," he responded, though he was just kidding. He knew that it was time to wake up; his head just felt really foggy. At that moment, he was trying to remember why he fell asleep in the first place. He was on a couch, and he took sleeping pills to stay asleep for a certain amount of time. That was what made him remember what happened. Oh yeah. Namine was going to try and solve my problem, and I needed to stay asleep. I guess she's done.
Kairi giggled softly before bending down, placing a gentle kiss against the hand that held hers. She pulled back and gazed at the person she loved, glad to see that he appeared alright. Namine did her job successfully, without error.

Sora opened his eyes after a few moments, his bright blue eyes landing on the girl looking at him. "Hey there," he greeted softly, unaware if Roxas and Namine were still in the room or not. He did have some questions he wanted to ask, like why his head felt so funny and why he felt like he had forgotten something.
"Good morning," Kairi greeted with the same small smile. She was surprised she could even smile at a time like this, but she figured out the reason instantly: Sora. He always made her smile, whether it was on purpose or not. He just had that effect on her.

"Still morning, huh?" Sora asked, turning his head a little to look at the clock in the room. Sure enough, it was still morning. But barely. "Hard to tell. I feel out of sorts." And it wasn't just because of the medicine; he could tell. "Anything happen?" he asked her softly, his eyes turning a little more serious but not worried. He had faith in Namine and Ansem the Wise.
"No," Kairi said with a small shake of her head. "Nothing bad, that is. That head of yours is all fixed." Her small smile remained as she looked at him, but then she looked over to where her two other friends were. Roxas was whispering in Namine's ear, and by his smile, they were good things.

Sora sat up a little bit, letting go of Kairi's hand as he followed her gaze to Roxas and Namine. Namine looked absolutely drained, which he knew was because of the work that she put into the process. "Thanks, Namine," he said softly. He noticed the blonde open her tired eyes and nod at him with a weak smile, which he returned. I'd be lost without you.
Roxas's slight smile lingered as he glanced over at Sora, his eyes seeming to say it all. She's great, isn't she? he thought. He didn't know how he would be alive without her. He probably wouldn't be; Namine helped him from the very beginning.

Sora chuckled, shaking his head at Roxas's expression of adoration towards his girl. "Looks like you two could use some privacy," he said lightly, pushing himself up off the couch and stretching. He sort of wanted to walk around anyway, and when they did, Kairi could fill him in on what he missed out on.
Kairi giggled as Roxas blushed, lifting a hand to rub the back of his neck as he glanced away. Sora clearly embarrassed him, but it was true. "I'll go with you," she said, directing the words toward Sora. Namine looked exhausted anyway, and would need some peace and quiet.

"I was hoping you would," Sora said, sending a wink Kairi's way before he looked back at Roxas and Namine. He sent them a cheesy and sheepish grin, his trademark smile before he started out of the room and trusted that Kairi would follow him. Time to give the lovebirds time to themselves.

Namine smiled weakly at Sora's goodbye, lifting a hand slightly to wave goodbye. He was clearly back to his normal self. She hadn't even noticed the major difference until now. Sora was so serious the past few days, but now he was more lighthearted. He was himself again.

Kairi smiled a little more, nodding to her two blond friends before following after her husband-to-be. She linked her hands behind her back as she walked, speeding up her steps until she was next to Sora. Roxas and Namine could have their bonding time, while she and Sora did the same.

Namine watched Sora and Kairi until they were out of her sight, the blonde then turning her head and looking over at Roxas. She hadn't been able to sleep for a while last night, so that didn't help with her tiredness now. She was so weary, probably because she didn't put her powers into use much. Not that she wanted to, of course. Because whenever she did use her powers, something was seriously wrong.
Roxas ran his hand through his hair as he glanced over at Namine. "Heh," he laughed weakly, then looking away. Sora...he scolded mentally. Why did he have to go and embarrass him like that? At least he was acting like himself again.

Namine caught onto why Roxas was looking shy after a few moments, and that made her feel shy as well. She looked down at the sketchpad that was in her lap, though it was shut now. A blush crept into her cheeks, her blonde bangs also hiding her pale blue, weary eyes. Sora certainly knew how to create an awkward situation.
"I'll get him for that later," Roxas vowed quietly, his eyes downcast. He scratched his cheek with uneasiness, unable to believe that he was actually shy in front of Namine. That hadn't happened in a very long time.
