Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine took in a breath, forcing herself to calm down. "Look," she said calmly. "I never did anything to bother you. All that I want is my sketchpad, please."

"You know what? You actually did do something to bother me. You know what?" Chris asked without waiting for an answer. "You were born, and you created these pitiful pictures. What a pathetic existence." He saw the blonde's eyes narrow, but then he did something else. He lightly pulled his arm back and threw her drawings into the ocean behind her, making her glare disappear and bringing a startled gasp out of her.

Roxas's eyes followed the object that flew into the ocean, but when he realized what it was, his eyes widened. "Namine's sketchbook?" he muttered in surprise. His gaze then went back to the person that had thrown it into the water, and his eyes narrowed, the boy running forward instantly to see who was messing with Namine.

Namine followed the sketchpad with her eyes, startled. Why did he just do that?! She had been working on the pictures in there for over a week. She looked back at him with startled eyes, feeling tears of frustration well up in her eyes.

"And now you're tearing up for sympathy," Chris said, tisking in disgust. "Here's rule number two of this place: Don't be a baby. Unless..." He lifted a hand, fingering the blonde's chin before she took a step back to get away from him. "...You want to be my baby."

"Forget it!" Roxas said, running over quickly. He had been close enough to hear this guy's suggestion, and he wasn't having any of it. "Namine will never put up with somebody like you!" He stopped right beside her, but he put his arm in front of her, looking at the guy in front of him with angry eyes.

Namine looked to Roxas, hearing and seeing that he was angry. He must have seen some of what was going on, not that it was good. She looked back to the teen in front of her, seeing that he didn't look like he was going to back off.

"Oh, so that's her name," Chris said, glancing at Roxas before he looked at both the blonds in front of him. "Namine. Hm...Sounds like her parents couldn't find a bad enough name to call her, so they came up with something random. Like I said, what a pitiful existence."

Roxas ground his teeth together. "Obviously yours has been bad enough, since you're picking on an innocent girl," he snapped, hating the way this creep was talking about Namine. He sounded too much like the others, and it angered him.

Chris rolled his eyes, deep down amused by the fact that this teen thought he could stand up to him. "It is what it is," he declared. "And for the record, no matter what you think it's not pitiful. It's enjoyable. Thrilling, even. But you'd never know; you're wasting your life standing up for this child."

Roxas felt his hand that wasn't in front of Namine form a fist, a low growl of anger leaving his throat. "Yeah right," he said bitterly. "You don't even know her. How can you call her a child when you're clearly the one being immature?"

"I wasn't the one wasting perfectly good paper by drawing like a two year old," Chris said, looking at Namine and seeing that she definitely was listening to the insults he was dishing out. He enjoyed this very much, getting a rise out of people.

Namine saw Chris look at her before he looked back to Roxas, and she had a hard time keeping her tears in. What a jerk! Why couldn't she and Roxas just walk away? The question was one she immediately knew an answer to: He wouldn't just let this stranger insult her. He was going to fight back for her, just like he always did.

Roxas blinked in shock, unable to believe that this guy would say such a thing! How could he let him get away with saying that? And saying anything else he kept on throwing at Namine? "Listen here, pal--"

"You say that she was the one wasting paper, and yet you threw a good fifty pages into the ocean. Good logic, Chris." Riku stood behind the bully, his eyebrows furrowed as he glared at the back of the boy's head. He'd just gotten off the island, and he pulled up to the beach to see this. Well, he wasn't about to let Chris get away with this.

Chris took a step to the side, turning and looking at the person behind him. Instead of feeling intimidated or worried about the remark, he smirked slightly. "Well, well, look who it is," he said as he stared up at the kid who always opposed him in school. "Where have you been, Riku?"

Namine was surprised when Riku showed up, and that he seemed to know this person. Chris? That was his name? Riku knew him somehow, and judging by their short interaction so far, they didn't have a good past.

"Dealing with people a lot more intimidating than you," Riku said curtly. "So back off." He could handle Chris easily if a physical fight was what it came to; he'd been able to do it in the past and he could definitely do it now. It would be wise for Chris to listen to what he said.

Roxas looked between Chris and Riku in surprise, having not expected Riku to show up at all. So he knew this jerk? And obviously pretty well, but in a bad way.

  • Author

"Oh yeah?" Chris challenged. "Who? 'Cause there's nobody more intimidating than me around here." He was the biggest bully, even if he did have accomplices every once in a while. So who was Riku referring to?

Riku "hmphed", only smirking in amusement. "None that you should worry about. They're taken care of," he replied smoothly. Chris's curiosity was amusing, mostly because he was never going to find out.

Chris smirked as well, not letting Riku know that his smooth words were getting to him. "Let me guess: Somebody dump Sora into a trashcan again? And you had to 'deal with them' to save his sorry behind?" That kid would never man-up and be able to fight his own battles.

"Actually, if you must know, Sora took on a fair share of his own bullies. I wasn't around," Riku explained. "So he saved his own sorry behind, but I can't say what you can do for your own. Looks like your accomplices aren't around to defend you this time." He crossed his arms, lifting an eyebrow at Chris in expectance.

Roxas furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to figure this out. So...this guy was actually a bully, who used to pick on Sora? That was what he got out of this anyway.

"I don't need accomplices right now," Chris said, his smirk starting to fade away. "It's not you'll do anything with a girl around," he stated as he jerked his head to Namine. Riku was too polite to do that. Too weak.

Riku's smirk only remained. "Wrong again, Chris. Namine was around for a confrontation or two," he pointed out, thinking to what had happened in the past, whether it was New York or Castle Oblivion. "Protecting my friends is nothing new. You should know that."
  • Author

"If she was around for a confrontation, she should know how to defend herself better," Chris said, a sly smirk appearing on his face as he brought the conversation back to the girl he had been harassing. "She shouldn't let people walk all over her and let you do the fighting for her."

Namine felt her cheeks get flushed, upset. She wasn't letting him walk all over her! And what was wrong with having friends who defended her when she couldn't? Nothing, that was what.

"She doesn't let anyone defend her. That's our choice," Riku said, uncrossing his arms and letting them come to his side. "Roxas probably knows what I'm talking about."

Roxas nodded immediately in agreement. "He's right. Namine doesn't need to defend herself. She has us," he said, his eyes going from Riku to Chris. And they would protect her at all costs, because they cared.

"And look at what a good job you're doing," Chris said sarcastically, looking to the girl behind Roxas's arm and seeing that was clearly upset. Obviously he was bothering her, and Riku and this Roxas kid were doing a lousy job defending her.

Riku glanced at Namine and saw the look on her face, but then his eyes went back to Chris. "Fair enough," he said, accepting that Namine was still clearly upset despite his intervention. "But one of the ways we're best at defending her is through physical activity. Now unless you want an example, I suggest you leave. Now." He started toward Chris as he said this, moving at a walking pace.

Chris's eyes narrowed, the threat clear. "Violence over a worthless coloring book?" he asked, not backing down. What a stupid reason for Riku to start a fight. Didn't he have anything better to do?

"I wouldn't call it worthless," Riku said, still making his way toward Chris. "That book actually holds significance, not that you understand the meaning of the word." Nothing was important to him, especially a person's feelings.

"Now all it holds is water-logged pages," Chris said with a smirk. "That's better than what it had before, drawings that a baby could do. But I guess that's what she is, right? A defenseless, worthless, baby."
