Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi called to her Keyblade as soon as she recognized the positions of the other warriors, hearing Master Eraqus and Roxas do the same. A spell of Darkness came at her and she ducked, aware that it was the first sign of true battle. "Thunder!" she cried, stabbing her Keyblade into the air as bolts of lightning rained down over the warriors on her part of the circle.

Kairi, Riku thought instantly, seeing her from where he stood high above. Behind him was a cave, the wielders of Twilight with him as he waited for Lightning's signal. The warriors of Light ran in to fight those of Darkness, the graveyard now the battlefield it was years ago.

"Be careful, Kairi," Sora silently wished, the teen's eyebrows furrowed as he knew what he had to do. He had to stick to Lightning's plan, and that involved not fighting alongside Kairi. The teen saw Master Xehanort where he stood, and he ran forward to confront him while Ven also went for Vanitas. As soon as some of the chaos from the original attacks died down, he knew assistance would come to him.

Sora's words only graced Kairi with more courage, the girl spotting someone who was in battle with the King. That courage helped her close in on the man from behind, swinging at him with all her might. It was time she proved herself in battle.

Roxas had both of his Keyblades out, aware that he would need the extra help. While Namine was with him and able to fight, he was still going to protect her at all costs. He closed in on Xemnas, both of his blades being blocked by the Nobody's sabers. He ground his teeth together, adding pressure as Xemnas fought it. Good, he was distracted; that gave Namine some time to dish her own attacks.

"Fire!" Namine cried as she ran into the battle after Roxas, the girl opening her free hand and shooting multiple fireballs at Xemnas. In her other hand, she held a mage's staff, which could be used as a weapon if she needed to hit somebody away. Mostly, it was so that she could defend herself in close combat. She wouldn't fail in this battle; she would use all her strength to protect those that meant the most to her.
Eraqus heard the roars of battle and clashing of Keyblades around him. Though it disgusted him, he knew this was the destiny for everyone involved; they were meant to use their hearts and fight. While he still had his, he was going to use it for the best opportunies, which included helping those around him. He helped a wielder of Light get away from a deathly position with one of Darkness, using his powerful spell with chains of Light to encircle the warrior of Darkness. The Light warrior then performed a combo, giving him the upperhand once again. Eraqus then turned his head, seeing Kairi battling Ansem with the King. He darted over in that direction to offer his assistance.

"Sora, help is on it's way," Lightning reported, watching the fights from her spot above the area a half mile away. She could see the Keyblade warriors who were going to help him fighting through some other Keybladers to help Sora with Master Xehanort. "Master Eraqus, keep assisting Kairi and the King." Lightning wasn't worried about any of the three being possessed; their Lights were too strong. That was why she assigned them to that fight. She kept her eyes wandering over the battlefield, making sure all was going okay. If it wasn't, she would go in early and tell Riku to call the shots.
Aqua heard Master Eraqus grunt slightly in response, though he covered any suspicion by throwing an elixir Kairi's way, to both restore her health and her magic. She was doing well for her first real fight, but she wasn't dodging every attack. Of course, no one expected that, for no one could evade every hit that came their way. Aqua was sure all of them would suffer injuries today, but hopefully no one suffered the worst: death.

After a while of watching the fights, Lightning noticed that her team was gaining the upper hand in most of their fights. The only troubling fight was that with Vanitas. Ven was having a rough time, and so were those assisting him, because Vanitas was so fast. "Master Eraqus, Ven could use your assistance," she said into the earpiece. She pushed herself up from her kneeling position, hearing her armor clink. If she was needed, she would go down in a heartbeat. Her presence wouldn't spoil anything anyway.

Master Eraqus stood upright at the words, turning and searching the battlefield for his youngest student. He spotted Ventus and pushed himself through the many warriors, dodging various attacks that were not meant for him to reach Ventus. He dashed in front of the boy, his blade clashing with Vanitas's.

Vanitas paused, though the pressure on the Master's Keyblade didn't ease up. "Oh, so the Master has come to play?" he commented with an evil smirk, his helmet still hiding his face. This would be interesting.

On another part of the battlefield, the remainder of Master Xehanort's team was summoned. Demyx, along with Larxene, Xigbar, Vexen, and Zexion appeared. With their powers more superior than those of the average warrior, they could do catastrophic damage to the forces set against them. "Dance, water!" he cried, sending his forces at the nearest warriors of Light and hurting them.

Lightning lifted a hand to her face, realizing then that she forgot to factor in the remaining members of the Organization. "I'm going in," she said for all connected to the earpiece system to hear. She would have to face some members from the Organization."Riku, you direct our forces from above; I'll still decide when to call everyone in." She hoped she wouldn't be down in the field for too long; she needed to supervise the battle as a whole more than she needed to fight.

"Good luck," Riku called through his mouthpiece, his eyes darting to where he knew Lightning would descend. He would do his best to direct the others, since he was technically second in command. Regardless, he would do as expected of him; he wasn't about to back out now.

Lightning stepped closer to the edge, a hand hovering over her chest as a pink light radiated. I hope this works... A piece of crystal appeared in front of her as she fell backwards off the side of the cliff, her sword appearing in time to strike it and create a bright light. An eidolon, specifically, Bahamut, appeared in the sky, swooping down and catching her mid-flight and taking her to the battlefield. Okay. Time to straighten out this inconvenience.
Aqua watched Lightning enter the battlefield, her entrance most likely catching the attention of the warriors below. The Keyblade Master, however, kept her position, perched on the cliff with the warriors of Nothingness lying in wait not too far off. They would enter when the time was right.

Lightning entered the battlefield, where she encountered Xigbar and Vexen. Two against one wasn't exactly in her favor, but she had nobody to call on for backup. After a while of fighting and having another random warrior gang up on her, she had to call to Ven for assistance. Vanitas vanished from the battle temporarily anyway, probably to help Master Xehanort, who had raised himself to a higher cliff to fight Sora and those with him without anyone else joining in. Update me, Riku. Tell me where exactly everyone is.
Riku watched as his best friend went higher with Xehanort, his eyes narrowing at the cheap move. Knowing Sora could handle it, the young man let his aqua eyes fall to the battlefield. "Keep your eyes peeled," he advised. "Larxene's making her way around the area." She was darting in and out of fights, striking warriors with her lightning before evading and moving onto the next target. It was an ugly, cheap move, but it was Larxene. Riku didn't expect anything less.

Lightning looked over and saw Roxas and Namine still fighting Xemnas, the fight perfectly under control. But she was about to take away one of the fighters. Sneaking away from her own battle and letting Odin fight for her briefly, she ran over to Roxas and Namine. "Namine! I need you to handle Larxene," she said, the blonde looking over and clearly hearing her. Though she looked doubtful for a moment, she then changed her expression to one of determination and seriousness. Nodding, the blonde ran away from her battle to keep Larxene occupied.

Roxas's head turned sharply at the words, his eyes widening in alarm. "What?!" he cried, though the distraction was all Xemnas needed. Roxas grunted in pain, being forced back and landing roughly on the ground. He slid along the dirt, but pushed himself to his hands and knees immediately. Ugh! Stupid! he scolded himself.

"Focus, XIII," Xemnas advised with a heavy smirk. "The witch has her tasks, as do you. Unlike the two of you, we shall go together." He moved in, picking up Roxas by the collar of his shirt and throwing him into the air to begin his assault.

Lightning didn't dare intervene with Roxas's battle, knowing she could potentially hit him. Sorry, she mentally apologized, knowing he didn't want to be separated from Namine. But Namine could handle herself in that battle. The soldier stumbled forward when she felt a large shield hit her in the back, the strength behind it more than she expected of a man she knew to be a scientist. She winced at the hit that managed to hurt despite her armor before she spun around and went on the offensive. She needed to do more good down here before she retreated and signaled the rest of the troops in.
Kairi dug into her pouch quickly, grabbing a potion and tossing it above her head. Just after she did so, she was hit. She winced, sliding along the ground but holding her footing. She then returned to the offensive side, helping King Mickey with the battle once again. She may have been a Princess, but she wasn't weak.

Lightning stumbled back to avoid Vexen's swinging shield, her eyes darting around the battlefield as she was distracted. She was supposed to be supervising all this! She put Riku in charge, but he wasn't telling her a single thing. Vexen got closer and swung his shield with a lot more power, the soldier wincing as she blocked it with her own sword but stumbled back a few more steps. Riku, give me an update. Now!
Riku was watching Lightning for the moment, and seeing that she wasn't doing much against Vexen, he took it into his own hands. "Fire, Light! Use it!" he ordered, aware that she was neglecting Vexen's true element: ice. She had to counter it!

Lightning saw Vexen charge at her again, and as he swung, she did a flip over him. Finally, she was able to get where he was vulnerable. She opened her free hand and shot fireballs at him, doing great damage to him. That gave her just a moment where she could speak to Riku without anyone noticing. "Give me an update to the whole battle," she panted. "Do we have the upper hand?" If he said yes, then she would call in the troops. She needed to know the circumstances of all the major threats, and how the numbers of the enemy dwindled. She wished she could watch it from above, but she couldn't.
Riku's eyes left Lightning, darting over the area and taking in the warriors still fighting. "...It looks like we do, but they're persistent," he replied, speaking of the warriors of Darkness. His eyes flicked over the entire battlefield, watching as Kairi and King Mickey both got hurt by one of Ansem's attacks, the same happening with Roxas before he retaliated. Riku looked to the higher ground, seeing Sora fighting with Master Xehanort. But the fight wasn't going well. "Sora!" he cried. Behind you!

Sora heard the voice in his ear, and that was enough to tell him that there was trouble. He cast a shield around himself quickly, knocking both Master Xehanort and Vanitas back. Vanitas had joined the fight a little while ago, as soon as Master Xehanort started losing the upper hand. The fact that they were higher elevated also showed Xehanort's desperation. He didn't want anyone else helping him.

"Specifics, Riku," Lightning ordered, though his voice wasn't the one that responded in her ear.

You clearly don't know what she's looking for, Keyblade Master, Kain thought silently before he spoke. "Five are battling Master Xehanort and Vanitas above; their battle is fairly even," he reported. "Roxas is struggling with Xemnas and Ansem's fight is evenly matched. Namine is struggling against Larxene, but overall, their numbers have dwindled greatly and we have the advantage." You need us, Lightning, he thought upon seeing her get knocked back by Demyx. Call us in, now!

Riku looked behind him, spotting Kain. "Tch," he grunted in frustration. She was talking to me, he wanted to snap, but he fought it. Now wasn't the time to get in a battle with an ally. He turned his head to look back at the war, his armor concealing his face. "Make the call, Light," he advised. They needed to swarm in right away.
