Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I want to see it for myself--" Lightning said to both Kain and Riku. It wasn't that she didn't trust either of them; she just trusted herself more.

"There's no time for that!" Kain said, his voice raised slightly with Lightning. "Make the call, now." She was getting really beat up down there, trying to handle everything at once. It had to end.

Lightning grunted at Kain's tone, which sounded....worried. "Fine," she said bitterly, swinging her sword with both hands to knock back Demyx. "Everyone in, now!" She just hoped that this was the right move; she would be blamed if it was too early or too late.

Riku turned his head, waving an arm at the others who waited. "Let's move!" he hollered, turning then and dropping down the cliff he stood on. He slid along the rocks with steady feet, hearing others follow his lead. He looked over and saw Aqua leading the others away from their hiding spot, her cry of "Our turn!" ringing in his ears as everyone charged forward. His Keyblade already at his side, Riku prepared to close in on his enemies and end things for good.

Lightning knew that what was coming up would be absolute chaos, so she ran to the person who would need her help most: Namine. She was inexperienced with battle; she would need some assistance with Larxene while things were so hectic. She ran over and joined that fight, aware that she was close to the base of the towering mass of land that Xehanort and Vanitas fought on top of. As soon as she was free from a fight, she'd retreat and overlook everything again.
Vanitas pushed one of the warriors of Light away from him with his blade, striking them and forcing them back farther. Out of the corner of his eye he caught movement, causing him to narrow his eyes. "Xehanort!" he called, voice holding fury. Recruits! He watched behind his helmet as warriors of Twilight and Nothingness sprinted into battle, Master Riku and Master Aqua at the head of each group.

I'm a little busy at the moment, Vanitas, Master Xehanort thought, struggling against Sora. The teen was doing exactly what he was meant to do, and that was distract Master Xehanort so that he didn't send Heartless against the new recruits. "Whatever the problem is, Vanitas, handle it!" he said simply, shoving Sora away from him. He didn't have time for any more madness; he was determined to defeat Sora now. The boy was proving to be a hassle.

Vanitas smirked, taking a step closer to the edge and looking down. That was when he saw Master Eraqus. "With pleasure," he said with a dark smile. He took a few steps back and then ran forward, leaping off the cliff and falling toward the ground. Halfway down, he flipped through the air and held his Keyblade at the ready.

Eraqus remembered that this was where he stood in his premonition, and this was when he would have his life taken from him. Having accepted it, he looked up and spotted Vanitas. If I will die by your hand, it will not be with contentment. Eraqus's eyes narrowed as his heart rate sped up. It was too late to move away. Goodbye, Aqua...Ventus...Terra.

After sending Namine away to join Roxas again, Lightning looked for the ally that needed the most assistance. And that was Master Eraqus, the man who stood in opposition to her ever since he arrived on the scene. Still, she didn't hesitate sprinting over to him, shoving him out of the range of Vanitas's attack while she stood in his place. Don't be so eager to die! she thought in fury, though her heart also leaped in fright. She knew what position she just put herself in.

Vanitas saw the intrusion, but he only continued to smile. Even better, he thought, releasing a roar as he brought his Keyblade down on Lightning's head with all his might. Her time here was up.

Eraqus grunted, sliding along the ground until he stopped himself. Looking up, he saw what just occured, Vanitas now on his feet as his Keyblade touched the ground, his swing having followed through. "No!" he cried in horror, his mouthpiece clearly picking up on the shout.

Kain was in the area, having rushed over in this direction so that he could assist Lightning. He did hear the Keyblade Master's voice through his earpiece, but more than that, he heard it because he was within hearing range with the man. He turned his head and looked, eyes wide as he saw Lightning crumble. Lightning! he thought in fear, using his abilities to make it over to her within seconds. He scooped her up before he leaped into the air, teleporting away from the scene along with the unconscious girl.
Riku heard the cry, but he didn't have time to think about it, too busy in his own heated battle. He was helping Roxas with Xemnas, allowing the other warriors to handle those of Darkness. Their plan--Lightning's plan--was working perfectly. Because of her, they would win this battle.

Ven saw Kain take Lightning away from the scene quickly, but before that, he had seen what Vanitas did. And what he nearly did to his Master. "Master!" Ventus cried, running over and getting into his stance next to him as he faced Vanitas. "Let me face Vanitas." Go somewhere a little safer. If Vanitas had his way with you, you wouldn't have survived it...Gosh I hope Lightning's okay. He would try to push aside those thoughts for now, though. He had a battle to fight.
Vanitas saw that Master Eraqus was hesitant to leave Ventus alone, and the darker half of the boy only smiled, his helmet disappearing. "Better do as he says, Master," he replied lowly. "Or I'll actually kill you this time." He saw Master Eraqus glare at him before putting a hand on Ventus's shoulder, silently wishing him good luck. Then the man moved to join another battle, leaving Vanitas with Ventus.

By the time Vanitas and Ven got into their fight, Namine finally found her way back to Roxas. It hadn't been easy, getting through all the fights to get to him. But even she could tell that the forces of Light were winning now. Master Xehanort was too distracted to summon Heartless, and the same went for Xemnas and Vanitas. Joining the fight with Riku and Roxas, though, she couldn't help but wonder why Riku wasn't fighting alongside Lightning.
Vanitas dodged one of Ventus's attacks and closed in, tackling him as they rolled into a portal he summoned on the spot. Once they were away from the other battles, Vanitas didn't hesitate restarting their own fight. He dodged and dealt attacks for what felt like a long time, but...he was starting to lose.

Out of the corner of his eye, Ven could see the battlefield that the rest of his friends were fighting in. He could tell that they were winning, and now, he was about to win his battle as well. With a battle cry, he called upon lightning to rain down from the sky and strike Vanitas. This fight was over...Sort of. Part one of it was over. Once they merged, Ven would have to fight him in his heart and conquer him there.
Vanitas cried out, feeling multiple lightning bolts strike him, stunning him. His gold eyes were wide as he gazed at Ventus, feeling his form beginning to glow with a gold light. It was time they merged one last time.

Ven gazed at Vanitas, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness as he started to fade. I know, he thought silently. You think that by merging, you'll recreate the X-blade and gain control of my body forever. You think you're still going to win...But you're wrong. Ven shut his eyes and felt Vanitas merge with him, the teen also losing consciousness as he collapsed. This would be his final fight against Vanitas.
Aqua thrusted her Keyblade into the stomach of a Dark warrior, having no choice but to kill him on the spot. She grunted as she pulled her weapon out, watching the man fall to the ground. Everyone around her was engaged in battle, but just beyond the fighting, she could see her best friend. "Ven!" she called in fear, seeing him collapse. She started pushing through the others, trying to get to him. Vanitas!

"No you don't!" Larxene cried, getting in Aqua's way easily. She wouldn't want the Master to run off, not when she could have fun with her here and now. Larxene distracted her for a long while, the fights around her also waging on. Xehanort's forces were failing...But she would still fight for a little while before she fled.

After a brutal fight with Vanitas in his heart, Ven came out the victor. Though Ven's heart now held Darkness, he finally had a complete heart. Vanitas, or rather the Darkness that composed Vanitas, merged with the Light in Ven's heart and created a normal heart. Finally...finally, it's over. The teen grunted at the sounds of battle around him, starting to come to after a little while of being unconscious. Everyone was still fighting...? Apparently he hadn't been knocked out for too long, and nobody came to him to deal the final blow while he was knocked out.

Aqua grunted, her Keyblade coming in contact with Larxene's kunai briefly as the blonde blocked her attack. Aqua didn't give up, though, continuing her assault as warriors around her fell and others continued fighting. This battle was turning in their favor, but it wasn't done yet.

Ven slowly sat up, wincing as he lifted a hand to his heart. He was okay, just feeling a little weird because he finally had Darkness in his heart. Still, looking around the area, he realized this wasn't where he passed out. Somebody moved him. He glanced over to the side, blue eyes wide when he saw somebody totally unexpected. "Terra?!"

Terra nodded slightly, relieved to see his friend's blue eyes. He was himself. "You alright, pal?" he asked, holding his Keyblade in his hand. He came to the battle and found Ven unconscious, so he moved him further away from the battle to keep him safe. Still, he guarded him and kept an eye on the rest of the battles. He wasn't going to just stay in Disney Castle while the rest of his friends fought for their lives.

"Y-yeah," Ven said with a nod. "But, what are you doing here...?" He was supposed be in Disney Castle, where he was safe from Master Xehanort and his attempts to possess him.

"I'm here to finish the fight," Terra said lowly. He bent down and ruffled Ven's blond hair before he took off, running to where he saw Xehanort on the upper level fighting Master Eraqus. He heard Ven call out his name as he hopped onto his glider and flew, but it didn't matter. If Xehanort wanted him so badly, then he would get him.

Aqua cried out, swinging at one of the Dark warriors and pushing him away from her. Just then she caught movement out of the corner of her eye, up on a higher cliff. Looking in that direction, her gaze tinted by her armor, she gasped. "Master Eraqus," she said breathlessly. She pushed her way through the crowd of fighters, moving toward the cliff Master Eraqus was on and in a duel with Xehanort. She grunted, jumping up onto one ledge before continuing to move swiftly upwards. It was time she helped her Master.

Terra didn't see Aqua making her way up the cliff, since he was flying in from the other side. He saw Master Xehanort run in to take on Master Eraqus while he was vulnerable, the sight making Terra angry. He jumped off his glider as soon as he could, sending it flying at the old Keyblade Master. Xehanort only had time to glance over and gasp, being hit by the glider and sliding along the ground a few feet as Terra landed on the cliff. Enough, Xehanort. You won't cause my Master's death again.
Eraqus lowered his Keyblade, having raised it in order to protect himself against Xehanort's incoming attack. At the sight of the Master getting hit, Eraqus turned his head, eyes widening. "Terra!" he said, his tone both surprised and scolding. Terra deliberately disobeyed him!

"Well, this is an interesting turn of events," Master Xehanort said, grunting as he picked himself up off the ground. "I believed I would have to hunt you down, but instead, you've chosen to deliver yourself to me."

"I couldn't run away forever," Terra said, summoning his Keyblade back into his grasp as his armor faded away. He was speaking to both Master Xehanort and Master Eraqus, though he didn't look at the latter. Terra was done running away from Xehanort while his friends fought him on his behalf. This was his fight.
