Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"How could you disobey me, Terra?" Eraqus scolded, his voice tight with anger, but not just at Terra; he was furious with Master Xehanort as well. The older man looked over at his childhood friend in caution before he allowed his eyes to fall on his former student once more. "Don't you realize what you've done?" He was walking into Xehanort's clutches!

Aqua made it near the top of cliff Master Eraqus was one, unaware of someone else's presence until she peeked over the edge, keeping herself hidden. Terra? she thought, eyes narrowing behind her helmet. What was he doing here?! Regardless of her questions, she kept her spot just below the top of the cliff, behind Xehanort. If given the opportune moment, she could strike him...

Terra still didn't look over at Master Eraqus, though his words were spoken to him. "Master Xehanort killed you before," he said softly. "I wasn't about to let it happen again."

"You believe that your sacrifice will ensure your Master's life?" Master Xehanort asked Terra, finding that thought ridiculous. No matter what, Master Eraqus would not be allowed to live. None of Terra's friends would live much longer. "How noble." Terra was mistaken, but Xehanort didn't care. Terra was within his reach now, finally.

Eraqus was flattered by Terra's words, but Xehanort's broke the flattery before it could fully be absorbed. "No sacrifices will be made for me today," he declared, his Keyblade still at his side as he stepped closer to Terra. "That, Master Xehanort, I can assure you." If any sacrifices would be made, they would be his.

"You cannot guarantee a single thing, old friend," Master Xehanort said, seeing Ven land on the cliff between Master Eraqus and Terra. It was a full reunion now, though Aqua was hiding as if she believed Master Xehanort didn't sense her presence. He pointed his Keyblade at her hiding spot and shot off orbs of Darkness, hoping to knock her down and infuriate Terra. The more angry Terra was, the more vulnerable his heart.
Aqua gasped and lifted her Keyblade, standing upright in order to deflect the attack. She winced, being pushed back on the small landing she stood on. Her foot slipped ever so slightly and she fought to keep her balance, her hands out at her sides. Eyes wide, she battled gravity so she didn't fall.

"Xehanort!" Terra roared, feeling the Darkness rising up within him. But then he saw that the man wasn't done yet. He was walking over to Aqua, and he noticed that his hand was growing frosty. That spell....it would cause Aqua to fall for sure, and that fall would cause her death. Xehanort couldn't!

Ven knew that he would be the only one fast enough to intercept Master Xehanort, so he ran without hesitation. He jumped in the way just as Xehanort extended the hand towards Aqua, Ven getting iced instead. He skidded along the ground before he came to a stop, right along the edge as his arm started freezing. The ice also started spreading closer to the rest of his body, though he fought not to let it take him completely. He couldn't let Xehanort win!

Aqua caught her footing, balancing though she immediately sent a tame Fire spell at Ventus to thaw out the ice that threatened to spread over him. She then jumped into the air, spinning before bringing her Keyblade down on Xehanort. Nearly knocking her to her death and freezing Ventus, as well as threatening Master Eraqus and Terra, was not okay.

Terra noticed Ven start to thaw out, but he also noticed Xehanort dodge Aqua's attack and glance at him. Guys, stop! he thought to the friends who tried fighting for him. I'm the one who needs to do this. He didn't have to verbalize anything though, because Master Xehanort wasn't about to lose his chance to possess Terra.

"Enough of this madness!" Master Xehanort said after teleporting several yards away from everyone. He wasn't going to let them distract or delay him any further. He lifted his Keyblade to his chest, stabbing himself just as he did many years ago. His heart was released in sparkles of Light, though his heart held anything but that. It was time that he possessed a newer, younger body once again.

Aqua landed on the ground, one knee down as her Keyblade pierced the dirt. It got stuck, and she struggled to pull it out as she saw what was happening. "Terra!" she cried. "You've got to run!" He was going to be possessed again, and she wasn't about to lose him!

Terra only looked over at Aqua, standing still. I know what I'm doing, his eyes said. He looked ahead of him and saw the orbs of Light, which collided with him immediately. He couldn't help but wince, eyes shutting as he felt Xehanort's presence invade his heart. Ha, you fell for it.... This was how their final fight would end. A battle of hearts. If Terra's was stronger, like he hoped that it was, then he would win. Xehanort would be locked away forever, and he would never return to hurt his family again.
Eraqus could only watch in a stunned silence, his dark eyes resting on his oldest student. Terra...he thought, sadness and fear present in his heart. How could he do this so willingly? Was he truly ready for a battle this significant to his life?

Terra sank down to his knees, stabbing his Keyblade into the ground as his head remained lowered. A shield appeared around him, though he wasn't sure if it was he or Xehanort who summoned it. Either way, they didn't want anybody interfering. This was going to be their final fight. This time, Terra didn't have Master Eraqus's Light to save him. All he had, and all that he needed, was his own Darkness.

Aqua grunted in fear, stepping forward with her Keyblade now at her side. "Terra," she said, fear in her voice. No...I can't lose him! She started forward and swung her Keyblade at the shield, even though her attack was deflected. She didn't stop, continuing to strike the invisible barrier. "Let go of him!"

"Aqua!" Eraqus shouted, seeing how reckless she was being, which was unlike her. He ran forward and parried her next swing with his weapon. When she looked at him in surprise, he only shook his head. "You mustn't interfere. This is Terra's battle now." As much as he didn't like it and was afraid for his son, there was nothing anyone could do. "We must have faith in Terra's heart. That's all we can do."

Ven approached his Master and his best friend, the teen stopping beside her and setting a hand on her shoulder. He gazed at her for a moment, though his gaze then shifted to Terra. I hope you know what you're doing... he thought to his best friend. The three of us can't go on without you. They were all a family, but they hadn't been acting like it lately. They were always divided, always keeping secrets from each other...He wished things had been different.

Aqua glanced at Ventus, though her eyes immediately went back to the young man kneeling before all three of them. Please come out of this safely, she begged of him. She couldn't make it without Terra... He had always been there for her when she needed him...

"Relax," Riku called. He spotted Master Eraqus and Aqua turn to look at him, though he merely glanced at them before he nodded in Terra's direction. "Terra's got this under control. He may not have the Light to fend off Xehanort, but he has the right amount of Darkness to do it."

Eraqus grunted. "That's absurd!" he declared. "Terra could barely control his Darkness days ago! How could he possibly use it against Xehanort's Darkness?" It was ridiculous, and unfortunately unlikely. He wanted to have faith in Terra, but...his Darkness wasn't that strong the last time Eraqus tested him.

Riku shook his head. "You don't get it," he said lowly, realizing how prejudice Master Eraqus was being against the Darkness. "Terra knows he can rely on the Darkness to help him, not destroy him. It's his Darkness he trusts, and that's all that matters."

"I hope you're right," Ven said softly, looking down at his older brother figure. Terra had been trying to strengthen his Light under Master Eraqus's training, not his Darkness. Was his Darkness truly strong enough to fight Xehanort? But that was when he grasped it: It wasn't a battle of whose Darkness was stronger; it was a battle of their hearts. And Terra's noble heart, utilizing the power of Darkness, could overcome Xehanort's. That was what Ven's heart told him.

"He's protected," Riku stated after a small moment of silence. The barrier would do its job to make sure no one bothered Terra. "But we need all of you to help take down the rest of them. We don't have time to stand around." He caught Aqua's eye, watching her nod slowly. That was when Riku turned around and dropped off the cliff, heading back into battle.

Aqua gazed at Terra for another moment, her eyes soft with fear, sadness, and hope. Come back, she wished, eyebrows furrowing. She then turned, running and leaping off the edge of the cliff. She would take out her frustrations on Xehanort's minions.

Ven glanced over at Riku, about to ask him where Lightning was before he was gone. But that was when he remembered what happened, and how Kain whisked her away. Still, maybe she came back while he was unconscious...No, he wouldn't ask. Right now, they had to focus on the fight. He ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped as well, joining the fray again.
Down below, still engaged in her fight with Ansem alongside King Mickey, Kairi blocked an attack from the Guardian. It grabbed her Keyblade, however, and swung her away. She skidded along the dirt, wincing as her legs got scratched up. When she stopped, she looked up at the remnant, glaring. She picked herself up and sprinted forward, swinging at the man that hurt Riku in the past. It was time he disappeared.

"If you don't mind, Kai, I'd love to deal the final blow," Sora silently told her, sprinting over to the area where she and Mickey were fighting. Xemnas was toast; he just finished him off with Roxas and Namine. And the members of the Organization were done for too. As far as he knew, Ansem and Xehanort were the only two that needed to be finished off still. Victory was in their hands.
Kairi's attack had been blocked, and she did a back handspring to dodge one of Ansem's spells. When she landed back on her feet, she breathed heavily as she glared at the man. "He's all yours," she silently replied. She had done all she could, and that was enough to wear Ansem down. It was his turn to die.

Sora smirked slightly, seeing King Mickey look over at him and get out of the way. "Thanks." He ran into Ansem from the side, swinging his Keyblade at him and sending him flying. Clearly unprepared for the attack, he landed with a thud along with the Guardian behind him. Sora panted a breath, his expression the same as he saw the man and the Guardian fade away. They won!
Kairi straightened when Sora sent Ansem back, but she also noticed that a lot of the battles had stopped. She looked around, seeing warriors of Darkness beginning to surrender. They were greatly outnumbered, and now that their leaders were terminated, they had nothing left to fight for.

Sora reached into his pocket and pulled out an Elixir, tossing it over Kairi's head. He glanced over at her and smiled weakly, relieved to see that she was okay. Everyone was alright, as far as he knew. Everything went to plan, except for one thing: Lightning was supposed to be feeding them updates throughout the whole fight, but she hadn't been. But Sora figured that she was just distracted. Looking around, he noticed that the remaining enemies were surrendering. "It's really over," he breathed.

Kairi closed her eyes when her wounds melted away, the soothing power of the elixir spreading over her body. She opened them and glanced over Sora's way, smiling faintly before she looked back to the people who had dropped their weapons. Their war was over...finally.

Riku walked through the people who were now standing still, the area quiet save his footsteps and the wind. His armor clanking with every movement, he made his way to his two best friends. "You guys okay?" he asked, his eyes dancing over Kairi before he looked to Sora and the King. He just checked on the others briefly, and they all appeared to be in one peace.
