Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra remained on his knees, Keyblade stabbed into the ground in front of it as he depended on that to keep him from falling down. Xehanort....was defeated. Finally, Xehanort was gone. He couldn't even leave Terra with empty promises, like "I will return", or "You haven't seen the last of me" because he knew how untrue they were. Xehanort was going to be locked away in Terra's heart forever. There was no returning. The shield around Terra vanished, the battle inside over as he started regaining his consciousness.
Aqua straightened at the sight of the shield disappearing, blinking upon seeing it. She then let her eyes focus on Terra, noticing a difference in him. There was something about him that let her know he was okay; her heart only assured her it was true. She put her hands on her legs as she stayed on her knees, leaning forward slightly. "...Terra?"

Terra heard the voice that came to him, his position remaining the same. But the voice was one that he recognized easily. "Aqua," he whispered, feeling weak from the battle that just took place within his heart. He summoned his Keyblade away, putting his hands out in front of him so that he didn't fall on his face. I'm really me, right? Xehanort has no influence at all... From what he could tell, that was the truth. He won.
Aqua's eyes widened, though her face lit up with a smile. She knew that voice; it wasn't one tainted by Xehanort. She had encountered it before, but this voice was one she loved. Aqua moved closer to Terra, lifting her hands to the face that was hidden from her. She gently encouraged him to look at her, that way she could see the blue eyes she adored. If they were their natural hue--not gold--she would know the truth, and that was that Terra won this war against Xehanort.

Terra kept his eyes shut for a few more moments, though those moments were brief. He slowly lifted his head and looked up at Aqua, blinking away his blurry vision. Not once did his eyes shine gold, not even for a second. They were their natural bright blues, not Xehanort's gold eyes.
Aqua's smile softened in affection, relief, and glee. "Terra..." she said, running her thumb over his smooth cheek. He did it! He defeated Xehanort, for good! She couldn't have been more relieved at that moment, or happier. The man she loved was with her...with no Xehanort in sight.

"Terra, you did it!" Ven said in excitement, joining Aqua and Terra. He knelt down by them, a smile on his face. He had been pacing for a while, but gave Aqua space for a few moments with Terra. Now, he wanted in. Xehanort was finally defeated for good, and so was Vanitas. The war was over.
Aqua's smile grew as she looked over at Ven, moving one hand from Terra's face to ruffle the boy's head. She chuckled lightly at his excitement, knowing that she felt the same, though she didn't express it as openly as he did. Aqua looked back to the man she loved, her hand moving to his hair as well, though she stroked it carefully. He was so strong...

"Yeah? And what about you, Ventus?" Terra asked, pretending to be stern but his voice lighthearted as he spoke to his friend. "I saw you pull that stunt with Vanitas. If I had been around before that, I would have kicked your butt for doing something so reckless..."

"Me?" Ven laughed. "You did the exact same thing!" Ven let Vanitas fuse with him, and Terra let Master Xehanort do the same to him. And judging by Terra's growing smirk, he realized that and was just kidding. Ven smiled widely, glad that his best friend was back and staying with him and Aqua.

Aqua shook her head, though she didn't hesitate ruffling both boys' hair. "I'm proud of both of you," she chimed with a wide smile. How couldn't she be? They both defeated their inner demons. That was a great victory, and both of them had a right to brag about it for the days to come. They should have been proud of themselves as well. And judging by their faces, they were.

"Thanks," Terra said, his smile fading a little bit in seriousness. Somebody was missing. "...Where's Master Eraqus?" He wasn't hurt, was he? If he was hurt, Terra knew that it wasn't by Xehanort's hand. At least he could take comfort in that he was able to protect his Master from being killed again. He finally stood up for something, and his guilt from the past was gone. He was free of it.
Aqua took her hands away from her friends' heads, sitting back on her legs. "He's with Riku. They went to get Lightning," she said with a faint nod. They should have been back soon, but she had been so interested in Terra's well being that she hadn't paid attention to if they showed up or not.

Where did Lightning go? Terra thought with curiosity, though he didn't say anything aloud. He pushed himself back onto his knees again before he slowly rose to his feet, seeing Ven do the same. "Well, there's no point staying up here," he said to his two friends. They may as well have headed down to the same level as everyone else. It sounded like the fighting was done.
Aqua nodded in agreement, pushing herself to her feet. She had let her armor fade a long time ago, once the battles ended and she sat next to Terra. There was no need for it anymore; the war was over. The Light won.

Master Yen Sid's Tower

Master Yen Sid looked over the pupil in front of him, eyes serious. But pride lingered in the back of his dark eyes. "Well done," he said to those lined up in front of him. Sora, Roxas, Riku, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, King Mickey, and Master Eraqus. In the back, Lightning stood with Namine and Kairi. He requested that the most experienced Keyblade wielders stand before him, so that he could speak to them directly. "The outcome of this fight looked bleak from the very beginning, but today, you all rose above that and saved the worlds from Xehanort."

Roxas, along with the others, gazed at Master Yen Sid with stern eyes, attentive and taking note of everything he was saying. So far, it wasn't much, but it was enough to make them all feel some pride in their efforts. He knew he did; the Darkness they conquered wasn't easy, but they did it.

"The days of Xehanort are over," Master Yen Sid said. "Now, a new era begins." He looked over the line, seeing one teen look down at the ground with furrowed eyebrows. "Why do you look so uncertain, Sora?"

"It's just..." Sora looked up, serious. "It's strange, thinking that Xehanort's really gone. And now, we're not the only Keyblade wielders....What does this mean?" Would the other Keyblade wielders cause more hassle, since they warred with each other in the past? Or would things be better with them around?

"It means that you are no longer the sole protectors of the worlds," Master Yen Sid stated, a small, very faint smile appearing on his lips as he addressed that youth specifically. "Master Sora."

Riku blinked, his eyes widening when he heard the last two words leave Master Yen Sid's lips. Master Sora? he thought, repeating the name in his mind as he looked over at his friend. He sensed that he wasn't the only one, sure that Roxas, Aqua, and Kairi were as well.

Master Yen Sid noticed that Sora was at a loss for words (for once), and confused (which wasn't so unusual). "You heard me," he said. He then spoke to the group as a whole. "What all of you experienced and overcame was much more difficult than any mark of mastery test that I could have given. So...I declare you to be Masters, Sora, Roxas, Ventus, and Terra."

Terra's eyes grew in size, the young man looking down and seeing Ven with the same expression. Further down the line, he could also see Sora registering his new title. "Master Terra"...It's what I've always dreamed of. And now, I'm finally worthy of it. He smiled, unable to help it.

Roxas couldn't contain his smile, lifting his elbow and nudging Sora. "All right!" he cheered. A Nobody...a Master? Was that even possible? Whether it was or not, he was the first. That...felt nice. It felt great.

Kairi clasped her hands together, holding them in front of her lips so she didn't cheer. Roxas, however, didn't seem to mind doing so, which caused her to giggle softly. Her fiance, and her friends... They were Keyblade Masters!

Namine giggled, able to at least tell that Sora was trying to keep it together and stay formal in front of Master Yen Sid. But at Roxas's exclamation and nudge, he couldn't help but give his friend a high-five and give an enthusiastic "yes". All the people up there deserved to be Masters; they were the strongest people that she knew.

Master Yen Sid could see the excitement welling up in these young people, and he knew that it would be best to release them so that they could celebrate their accomplishments. "From now on, you Masters have authority over the other awakened Keyblade wielders," he informed them, noticing Terra and Ven focus in on him again. "While keeping them in line, you may also trust them as your allies and share the burden of protecting the worlds with them. Their assistance will also allow you to live more normal lives." He noticed Sora grow relieved at that, probably because of his engagement to Kairi. Even Master Yen Sid knew of their engagement.

Riku began to focus back on Master Yen Sid, relief washing over him at the fact that hundreds of other Keyblade wielders would help them to protect the worlds. It was a great weight off of everyone's shoulders, he was sure. They would have normal lives, like the Master said. Now he could spend more time with Lightning, and Sora with Kairi, Roxas with Namine, Terra with Aqua... It would be great for all of them to get their relationships on track again, without the mess.

"Go," Master Yen Sid said, an ever so slight smile on his lips. "Begin your new lives, and your new freedoms." He noticed Terra dip his head to him in respect, Ven following his lead. Master Yen Sid had been through a lot with these young people, and though he didn't show it, he was very proud of all of them. They were true Masters.

Kairi watched as Roxas, Riku, Aqua, and Master Eraqus ducked their heads in respect, and she looked to Master Yen Sid to do the same. Though he hadn't spoken to her directly, she needed to give him some respect for helping her friends--her family. Without them, she wouldn't be the same person.

Sora lifted his bowed head, and though he didn't say anything, he could tell Master Yen Sid was proud of them. The brunet turned around and left, aware that his friends were close behind. It was time for all of them to go home--their real home, now that there was no fear that Master Xehanort would attack them there. The times of peace were about to begin.
