Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Enough!" Riku ordered, stopping right in front of Chris. "It's just like you, picking on somebody that did nothing to you. You feed on people's sadness, don't you? You like destroying somebody's work, something that's important to them?" He glared at Chris, at eye-level with him as they stood at the same height. "Namine won't be your victim after today, I can promise you that."

Chris stared at Riku for a few moments, his smirk having faded when Riku stared him right in the eye. But then, the smirk reappeared. "It's about time you wiped that smirk off your face," he said. "I was wondering when you would actually lose your temper."

"You're pushing it," Riku growled, glaring at Chris in the eye. "And trust me, you don't want me to reach my limit, especially after I've dealt with people worse than you."

Roxas moved his arm in front of Namine back a little, taking a step back and forcing her to do the same. This was already heated; he had a feeling it could get much worse.

Namine was forced to take a step back with Roxas, though her eyes stayed locked on Riku and Chris, the latter just staring at Riku after his last comment. She didn't want them fighting! She knew Riku would win, but still, she didn't want violence resulting because of her...
"So what are you going to do now?" Riku asked after a minute. "Are you going to walk away, or do you want me to show you just how protective I am of my friends?" He was willing to punch this guy for Namine; she'd dealt with enough, and Chris just ruined her treasured drawings. Not only that, but Riku had negative feelings toward this bully, who picked on his best friend when they were younger. Obviously justice hadn't been served just yet.

"How about option number three?" Chris asked then, staring at Riku when he spoke. "I walk away and let you seethe in your anger. Hm?" He wouldn't let Riku take out his anger on him; he'd let him suffer instead.

Riku smirked, lifting an arm and motioning to a path not too far off. Chris could go on ahead. The anger in Riku's heart may have been a part of darkness, but he knew how to control it, which was why he was allowing Chris to leave. He would get his later. Destiny was always fair.

Chris "hmphed" before he turned and walked away, but not going in the direction Riku motioned. Instead, he walked down the beach and didn't bother turning back. He'd let his enemy's emotions make him weaker for a while, then come back. He was in no rush.

Riku lowered his arm, watching Chris go with furrowed eyebrows. His smirk faded away, his lips instead forming a thin line. As much as he hated that guy, he was glad that was over.

Namine looked past Roxas, seeing that Riku sent Chris on his way. She felt relieved at that. Even if Chris deserved a beating, she wouldn't have wanted anything to be caused by her. She hated violence.

Roxas turned to Namine after watching Chris walk away, and he put his hands on her shoulders, looking at her face. "He didn't hurt you, did he?" he asked softly. He saw as much as the sketchpad get thrown in the water, but that was it.

Riku turned his head to look at the blondes in front of him, hearing Roxas's question. But he turned his attention to the ocean instead, seeing Namine's sketchbook drifting in with the waves. He walked over to the shoreline silently and picked up the book, hearing the droplets that fell from it hit the water. Man...

Namine looked down at the ground, avoiding Roxas's eyes because she didn't want him seeing her tears. "N-no," she said softly. He had whacked her hand away from the sketchbook, but it was alright now, so there was no need for Roxas or Riku to know about that. But still, she clasped her hands behind her back just in case it was still red.
Roxas noticed that stutter, and he bent his head a little to get a better look at Namine's face. But before he could, he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head, he found Riku approaching with the sketchbook...which was in terrible shape now that it was soaked with seawater.

Namine kept her head down, just trying to keep it together. Chris was such a jerk! Why did he have to talk about her so harshly? What kind of a person would pick on somebody they just met and torture them? She didn't understand how people could be so cruel.
Riku came to a stop near his two blonde friends and looked at the only girl. He held the wet sketchpad out to her, frowning. "Sorry, Namine," he said sadly, hating that Chris had to ruin something she found so precious.
  • Author
Namine glanced at the soaking wet sketchpad, and she instantly knew that it was ruined. "Okay," she said softly, her response weak. What else was she supposed to say? She couldn't believe Chris would be so ruthless with somebody he just met. How could anybody be that heartless?

Riku noticed that Namine wouldn't take the sketchpad, and he didn't question it. She wouldn't want it if the pictures were destroyed and the remaining empty papers were useless. "You...should take her home," he said to Roxas, thinking that would be best for now. She looked devastated.

Roxas nodded once, his concerned eyes finding the girl he loved. He looped an arm around her shoulders. "Come on, Namine," he instructed her quietly, starting to walk back toward Kairi's home.

Namine felt Roxas turn her in the direction to Kairi's house, and she let him do it. She wished that she could have at least given Riku a farewell, but she needed to focus on not crying right now. But, even if she went home, she couldn't cry, because the mayor and his wife would worry.
Riku watched Roxas lead Namine away in silence, a frown set on his lips. He felt awful. Why would Chris pick on poor Namine? Somebody as innocent and kind as her? It made no sense...
  • Author
"...Roxas?" Namine asked softly, walking with him even though she didn't want to go where he was taking her. She wouldn't have been free to release her emotions there, and there was only one place she could think of where she could cry and not be asked questions about what was wrong. The island.
"Hm?" Roxas hummed in question, turning his blue eyes to the girl he loved. He kept his arm around her shoulders, leading her toward the mayor's home, where she would be safe from the harm that Chris could possibly cause.
  • Author
"Can we...not go home?" Namine requested softly, keeping her gaze on the ground even though she could tell that Roxas was looking at her.
Roxas gave Namine a questioning look at the request, walking a few more steps before coming to a halt. "Where do you wanna go?" he asked her, wondering what she had in mind. If she didn't want to go home, what did she want to do?
  • Author
"The island?" Namine said softly, her words sounding like a question. It was the only real place with privacy, and there she could be with Roxas only. She didn't like being upset in front of him, but he always comforted her when she was sad.
Roxas turned his head, looking back the way they came to see the island she was talking about. "Alright," he said, looking back at her and nodding. He would take Namine there, since that was where she wanted to go.
