Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas smiled slightly, lifting a hand to scratch the back of his head as he glanced away. "You know me," he said over the music. "Just keeping to myself." If he wasn't with his friends, he usually just went off on his own; he wasn't too outgoing, unlike Sora and Ven, and the girls. Besides, he had some things on his mind.

"Not tonight, you're not," Namine declared, stepping in front of Roxas and grasping both of his hands. She looked up at him, blue eyes showing that she was in a good mood and enjoying herself. And since she was happy, she wanted Roxas to be the same. "Now, you can either dance with me or make some new friends. Your choice." Of course, he would need to get both done by the end of the night, especially dancing with her. They couldn't come to an event like this without enjoying each other's presence.
Roxas's smile remained as he nodded. "I'll start with you," he stated. He would always choose Namine first; that was a no-brainer. She should have even known that. He let her hold his hands, though he contributed to it, letting his fingers curl around her softer and smaller hands.

"I was hoping you'd say that," Namine replied with a smile. She stepped closer to Roxas, giving him a peck on the cheek before she returned to her previous position. I also hope tonight helps you, and you have a good time. It had been a while since she saw Roxas smile genuinely. Ever since he remembered Xion, he hadn't been the same.
Roxas felt his cheeks grow warm, a natural reaction from any bit of Namine's affection. He looked from her to the crowd, seeing an opening on the dance floor. "C'mon," he said with the smallest of smiles, stepping past her while keeping hold of one of her hands as he led her into the bundle of other warriors.

Namine grasped one of Roxas's hands, her free hand coming back down to her side as they weaved their way into the crowd. A new song was about to start, and that was perfectly alright with her. Even if they started dancing in the middle of a song, she wouldn't care. She just wanted to enjoy the time she had with Roxas.
Roxas took Namine near the center of the ballroom, turning to face her as lights danced around the area. He lifted one of her hands to his shoulder while his free one found her waist. When was the last time they danced? He couldn't remember...

Namine smiled softly, her free hand finding Roxas's shoulder while his other gripped hers. She looked up into his eyes, praying that she would see happiness in their depths. Roxas deserved happiness. She wished she could make him happy all the time, but she couldn't erase his grief. Just for one night in the midst of this grief, she hoped that he could truly be happy.
Roxas looked at Namine from his taller height, his eyes resting on her sky-blue ones. He loved those eyes, and he loved the mornings where he woke up to see them gazing down at him; she always was an earlier riser, but it was okay. He didn't think there was anything he didn't like about Namine; it was hard to despise anything she did.

Namine's eyes stayed locked on Roxas's for a few more moments before she looked down at his chest, seeing the tie that matched her dress. Even if he wasn't thrilled about being social at a time like this, she was glad that he humored her and Kairi and came along. They did have reason to celebrate, after all. Xehanort was gone, and Roxas was a Keyblade Master. She was very proud of him.
Roxas felt his lips turn up slightly after a little while, his eyes gazing at Namine even if she looked away. "...Have I told you how beautiful you are?" he asked softly. And not just tonight, every night. He found her cutest when she woke up in the mornings or was about to fall asleep; she was just too adorable.

Namine felt herself blush, her eyes staying down on Roxas's chest. She hadn't heard those words for a very long time. He didn't even say it when he first saw her tonight. But he was distracted by Sora at the time, who had beaten her here. She didn't blame him for not saying it. "Not recently," she said, though she wasn't upset about it. Things were chaotic.
Roxas's smile remained despite the answer. "Then I'm a failure as your boyfriend," he admitted. "You should hear it every day." Things had been so chaotic lately that he hadn't gotten the chance to say such a thing, but he knew Namine understood that.

Namine's blush remained as she met Roxas's eyes. "It's okay," she said with a small smile. Really. Roxas didn't need to feel obligated to compliment her every day, though she treasured his words like nothing else. Just seeing his smile, and seeing him happy...That was what she really wanted right now.
Roxas nodded slightly, though his eyes rested on Namine's face. Her cheeks were tinted pink, and his smile softened at the sight. Pink suits you, he thought in silence, swaying to the music with her. But...so will white. Kairi was wearing it tonight, and she would be wearing it in a few months. In a year, or maybe less, he hoped Namine would be wearing a dress the same color too.

"And what about me?" Namine asked, trying to chase away her shyness as she spoke to Roxas. "I'm not a failure as a girlfriend, am I?" She tried her best to make him feel loved, and appreciated. She was especially trying to be understanding right now in his time of grief. So, her question was partially serious. I'm being good to you, right?
Roxas blinked in surprise at the words, his smile disappearing briefly. "Are you kidding?" he replied, squeezing her hand gently. "You stick with me through everything, and you're my biggest support system. And you love me, despite everything that's happened to me...and to you." That meant more than anything. Roxas knew nobody else would be that patient with him, or the situations he got into.

"Well yeah," Namine replied with a shy smile, her cheeks remaining pink. "Because you're more than what's happened to you, Roxas." He was brave, loyal, determined, and very kind. Namine knew that she could be a mess sometimes, but he always stuck with her. She wasn't just returning the favor by staying with him; she stayed with him because she loved him.
Roxas felt his smile return, his eyes resting on those rosy cheeks again. At least I have that going for me, he thought silently. A lot happened to him in the past few years, and the worst was in the beginning. With Xion, the Organization... It was all terrible, but Namine acted as his guiding light when he was lost. He would always be indebted to her for that.

Namine inched her face a little closer to Roxas's, though she was too shy to move in and kiss him. She wasn't sure if it was okay to kiss him or not, just because she didn't want to add pressure to him or anything. But then again, why would kissing him be bad? He already told her that Xion was nothing compared to her, so maybe Namine didn't need to be so cautious.
Roxas recognized the nervousness coming from Namine, seeing it in her small movement, and for some reason, it made him feel the same way. He watched her as he closed in, hesitating a small second before he allowed his lips to come in contact with hers. His eyes fell closed with the action, one he wanted to repeat for the rest of his life.

Namine shut her eyes when her lips connected with Roxas's, the blonde forgetting her anxiety as soon as they kissed. She grasped the fabric of his shirt, her heart starting to race now that they were so close. It had been a while since they had a moment like this, the atmosphere just right for romance. It was nice.
Roxas kept his lips against Namine's for a moment before he moved them, continuing the affection and keeping it gentle. His eyebrows furrowed, heat lifting to his cheeks. It had been too long since they really had time to show each other expressions of love. Xehanort stood in the way of that.

Namine pulled back after a few moments, though her forehead was against Roxas's once the kiss was done. She exhaled a soft breath as she let her eyes remain shut, her body in closer proximity to Roxas's than it had been earlier. This is nice, she thought again. Really, really nice.
Marry me, Roxas wanted to say. But...he couldn't bring himself to do it. The meadow wasn't finished yet, and he wasn't going to steal Sora and Kairi's thunder. Namine wouldn't have been happy with that anyway; he knew how excited she was for Sora and Kairi's wedding. He only hoped she would be that excited for theirs.
