Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine opened her eyes, seeing a little bit of pink in his cheeks. She smiled softly at that sight, her hand moving from his shoulder to the back of his head. "I love you," she said softly, her fingers lightly playing with the spikes against the back of his neck.
"Hmm," Roxas hummed softly, smiling as he kept his eyes closed. "Love you too. Always." He may have loved Xion, but it was never as powerful as this. Namine was meant for him; she was Kairi's other half, as he was Sora's. If those two were destined for each other, so were he and Namine. He liked to think they would have found each other even if Sora and Kairi hadn't been part of them.

Sora looked over to the side, seeing Roxas and Namine through the crowd as a slow song played. He noticed Namine shut her eyes and rest her head on Roxas's shoulder, the sight making him smile. "Looks like Roxas and Namine may be next in line," Sora said softly to the girl he was dancing with. Obviously he was referring to marriage. He and Kairi were already engaged; they had been for at least half a year.
Kairi had her arms around Sora's neck, her hands linked there as she turned her head to look the way he had. She smiled at the sight of her friends, nodding. "Good for them," she said, agreeing. "They deserve it." They had been through a lot in the past, but they were stronger together than they were apart. They could tackle anything as long as they had each other.

Sora nodded slightly, though a small smirk appeared on his lips. "I wonder if Roxas'll have the guts to propose soon," he said, looking back to Kairi so Roxas and Namine wouldn't see him staring. "I don't know if you've noticed, but Riku seems anxious to propose to Lightning." It was something that Sora could see in Riku, since he had been so anxious to propose to Kairi for a while.
Kairi looked up at the man she loved. "Roxas has something special in mind, I'm sure," she voiced softly, the music still gentle. "And Riku... You're right. I've never seen him so drawn to somebody before. Lightning completes him, I think." How couldn't she? Lightning was the same as Riku in certain aspects, which was what worked so well with them. They were the same, but still different. It was the perfect match.

"I think you're right," Sora agreed quietly, nodding as well. It was a pair that nobody had really seen coming. At the start, Riku didn't even like Lightning. And he was sure that Lightning returned the dislike. But now that they actually knew each other, they discovered they were a good pair. Both on the battlefield and off.
Kairi kept her eyes on Sora in the silence that followed his words, slowly swaying with him to the music. She knew she was ready to be married to him; they had fallen for each other so many years ago. It was hard to not imagine Sora in her life, especially as a lover. She wouldn't have it any other way.

Sora leaned forward, giving Kairi a kiss on the forehead before he returned to his previous position. He loved her with all his heart. They were best friends their whole lives, and they still were. Recently, Sora made some mistakes in not trusting Kairi with everything, but he wouldn't make that mistake again. She earned his trust a long time ago, and she wouldn't lose that.
"What about you?" Kairi asked after the kiss, her smile remaining as she pulled herself a little closer to Sora. "Are you ready to get married?" They only had a few months until the wedding. The planning was almost done.

Sora laughed softly, his eyes locked on Kairi's. "More than you could understand, babe," he said quietly, his tone loving. He had known from the moment that he met Kairi that he wanted her to be a part of his life. He always loved her, even before she loved him. But now they were on the same page. Getting married...They would spend the rest of their days together. That was all Sora wanted. It was all he ever needed.
Kairi giggled once in glee, loving to hear that confession. And the small nickname still made her heart warm. To think, she would hear that forever... It was a pleasant thought. And the fact that Sora was ready to be with her for so long was great. She couldn't wait until their life together truly began.

Sora held Kairi closer, his eyes shutting as he leaned the side of his head against Kairi's. Forever can't come soon enough, he thought to himself. The day that he took Kairi to be his wife would be the best day of his life, though the day of the proposal would be second. That day was a precious memory of his.
Kairi closed her eyes, swaying gently to the music with her fiance. Sora would be her husband soon. The thought was still something that made her heart skip beats; she had always wondered what kind of life she would have with Sora, and soon it would be a reality. She knew the ring on her finger was a promise, a promise for their future to be bright and full of unconditional love.

Lightning sat off to the side by herself, not dancing. She hadn't seen Riku in a long time, not since he was called away by Kairi. But Kairi was with Sora now, so Riku must have been somewhere else. She was curious, but she wouldn't go searching. She had just been talking to Wesley, one of the leaders of the Keybladers for a while, but he left a few minutes ago. Now, Light was left to thinking about what Kain said earlier, about her getting dragged into another future. ...Was that truly possible?
Riku walked back into the ballroom, the sleeves of his shirt folded up to his elbows as he looked around the room. The music was slow, but he was sure it would turn fast soon enough; slow dances never lasted long. Regardless, he tried to see if he could find Lightning. He doubted she would be anywhere but on the sidelines. She never did like to dance...

I know I'd like to think that I'm in control of my fate, Light thought, looking down at her hands in her lap. But I'm always being proven wrong with that. I'm hardly ever in control anymore... She was dragged to the future, twice. And now she recalled being forced to fight in a war for the sake of the gods. She was sick of being dragged around; she wanted to live her life her own way.
After walking around for a minute, Riku finally spotted her. Lightning was sitting down not too far off, so he approached her in silence. He noticed she was in thought, which intrigued him, though he was sure he knew what it was about. Etro.
  • Author
But what can I possibly do? Light thought, not looking up and noticing Riku. I can't avoid going to Gran Pulse; that's where my family is. ...And I can't stop using these powers. Not if there's danger enough for me to summon them. Kain may have been right anyway; maybe it was already too late. Maybe...Etro was just waiting for her to return to her home world so that she could whisk her away to fight Caius or something insane like that.
Riku walked a few more feet before stopping in front of Lightning, tilting his head slightly as he looked at her. Something was wrong, but it was better to act like he didn't know a thing. "Hey," he called gently. "Someone as beautiful as you shouldn't be sitting alone." He could either sit with her, or she could join him for a dance. She did at Serah's wedding a while back...

Lightning looked up at that, smiling weakly when it was Riku who was standing in front of her. "Not my fault you disappeared for a while," she stated, getting the attention off herself. When she came back inside from her dance with Kain, Riku was nowhere to be found. She looked for him briefly, but then decided to just sit by the sidelines. Whenever Riku disappeared, he normally didn't want to be found.
Riku shrugged slightly. "It got a little crowded," he said in his own defense, not completely lying. It was crowded in the building with all the people, but it also felt that way when he was listening in on the conversation. He needed some air after that.

"It is," Lightning agreed with a small nod, her smile turning into a slight smirk as she teased Riku. "Which is why you should have taken me with you." Riku wasn't the only one who didn't like big crowds; she didn't either. But of course, they came to this event anyway, for more reasons than one. All of their friends would have forced them to come no matter what, just because they all wanted to celebrate together. Light had to admit, there was good reason to celebrate right now. Her little brother, and her other friends, were now Keyblade Masters. That was a big accomplishment.
Riku moved to sit beside Lightning, running a hand through his hair. "You were...a little busy," he said then, looking out at the crowd. He would only let it slip that he saw her with Kain, not overheard her conversation with him. That seemed okay enough.

Lightning nodded faintly, looking down at her lap now. So, Riku saw her walk away with Kain. Well, he didn't need to be worried about that. "It's all taken care of," she said a little more softly, referring to Kain. "Kain won't pursue me." He knew that Lightning loved Riku too much to leave him behind, even if she was in a relationship with Kain first.
