Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

In the spirit of the festivities occurring down below on the main floor, Ansem decided to make his presence on the indoor balcony known in a simple way. Demyx, who was also alive and well, held a microphone up to the glass of champagne as he tapped it with a knife. It was as if he was proposing a toast, and he was. He was proposing a toast to the dark future that awaited the Keyblade wielders, despite the permanent defeat of Master Xehanort and Vanitas. Ansem, Xemnas, and the remaining members of the Organization were not defeated so easily.
Roxas turned his head sharply at the clanging of glass, the music coming to a stop as his dance with Namine did the same. He grunted when he saw just who was responsible for the noise, his eyes widening. "Demyx," he gasped. No way... He was supposed to be dead! This was not good.

Sora grunted, keeping a grip on Kairi as he turned his head and looked up at the balcony. Ansem, Demyx, Xemnas, Larxene, Vexen, Xigbar...all of them were still alive?! His eyes narrowed as every Keyblade wielder looked up at that balcony, eyes icy. Great. Their enemies decided to crash the party, when they should have been in their graves.

"We would like to propose a toast," Ansem said, lowering the glass and speaking without a microphone to all the people who were glaring at him and his comrades. "To the dark future that awaits you all." If they thought this battle was over, then they were sadly mistaken.

Riku glared at the people that snagged the attention, his eyes hard. "You're all idiots," he snapped. He noticed Vexen look over at him, finding him in the ground as Xemnas and Xigbar did the same. "You think you can tell us how we're going to die when you're in a place full of hundreds of Keyblade warriors."

Aqua was standing on her own now, out of Terra's hold as she glared at the people who crashed their party. She understood what Riku was saying. In other words, she thought, you all are going to die.

"Numbers do not win a war," Ansem said, a conniving smirk appearing on his expression. "Dirty tricks do." He extended his arm, shooting off dozens of balls of Darkness while his comrades also inflicted damage to the structure of the building. One lightning bolt from Larxene did the trick, and the whole roof collapsed down towards every Keyblade wielder in the building.

Roxas's eyes widened as he looked up, seeing the building beginning to collapse. The roof was falling toward all of them! Instinct took over as he summoned his Keyblade, grabbing Namine and pulling her close as he called to a shield.

Riku grunted at the sight of the roof falling, knowing that Ansem was right; dirty tricks worked. He called to his shield, having it surround him and Lightning since they were still close.

Kairi felt herself freeze at the sight of the villains terrorizing their celebration, but her Keyblade appeared in her hand instantly as soon as the threat was clear. She lifted it above her head and prayed that her shield spell would be strong enough, aware that everyone else in the building was doing the same.

Sora heard the sound of multiple Keyblades being summoned, his own being included. Every single person in that room summoned their Keyblade and cast protection spells to shield them from the falling debris. He wrapped an arm around Kairi's stomach since her back as to him. Obviously he was aware she could protect herself, but he didn't care. He cast his shield, every single person in the room being protected because of their own magic as the debris landed on the shields and then slid off to whatever areas were open.
Aqua clenched her teeth, her eyes narrowed as she watched the debris fall down on all of them. The pressure on her shield was great, but she had to keep it up in order to protect herself. She grunted as others fought to keep their protection up as well. Nobody could be lost to such an ugly trick.

The debris settled, and Terra let his shield fade as everyone else did the same. Looking up at the night sky, he noticed something very bright. "W-what?" he said softly upon seeing the sight. The heart-shaped moon; Kingdom Hearts. Hundreds of beams of Light shot out of the moon, impacting every single Keyblade wielder in the room. It didn't cause physical pain, though. It was warm, until the light faded away and Terra felt empty. What he didn't notice, though, was that his right hand was now empty as well. His Keyblade was gone.

Riku was stunned to see Kingdom Hearts waiting above them, but...what was it doing here? He didn't have time to ponder his options, Light coming down and impacting every single Keyblade wielder in the room. His heart glowed with warmth, his body glowing with a brief golden light before he felt the weight in his hand disappear. He looked down at it, his eyebrows furrowing. He examined his palm before he held it out in front of him, calling to his Keyblade. But...it never showed up. He grunted, closing his eyes as he tried harder, but it was no use. His Keyblade wouldn't come!

"...No," Aqua muttered, terror in her eyes as she realized the same thing Riku did. Her Keyblade wasn't responding; it was gone. She turned her head to look at Terra in fright. What happened?!

"Ha ha, you all fell for it!" Demyx laughed, seeing all the Keyblade wielders caught off guard when their weapons vanished. But that was just it. They were former Keyblade wielders. Their ability to wield the weapons was taken away from them by Kingdom Hearts, which he and his comrades had control of for the most part. All that they had needed was for these saps to summon their Keyblades and have them present before Kingdom Hearts did its thing. This worked perfectly!
Roxas couldn't summon either of his Keyblades, and he took a step forward, glaring at the people who decided to make this a show. "What'd you do?!" he cried, multiple murmurs going through the crowd after the question. What did they fall for?

"It should be obvious, dimwit," Larxene said with an evil smile. "Kingdom Hearts just took away your precious Keyblades." What was that Riku said earlier, about her comrades not having a chance against them? Now, it was the complete opposite.

...That's what I thought, Sora thought to himself, glaring up at the villains. He had experienced the loss of his Keyblade before, and his ability to wield it. This feeling of emptiness in his heart was one that he felt a long time ago. He still hated it, even after all this time. But how were they supposed to get their Keyblades back now?! If they didn't get them back, they were done for.

"But you forgot one thing," Riku said lowly, his hands in fists at his sides. "Some of us don't depend on our Keyblades for power." He could still use Dark magic, but that was it. Light didn't even wield a Keyblade, and neither did Namine. They had few choices...but they would have to fight back regardless of that.

Xemnas chuckled in amusement. "Your remaining powers are weak compared to the powers we hold ourselves. Try your best, Riku, but your effort will only result in your demise." It would be his plea for death, and Xemnas would grant it with ease.

Lightning glanced back at Riku briefly before she walked forward, her dress transforming to her armor as her weapon appeared in her grasp. "You're the only people who are going to face your demise today," she said lowly, though her voice was loud enough for the villains to hear. She still had all of her abilities, and as long as she used those, none of her friends would die. But...It was going to be an extremely tough fight. There were at least six enemies against her.
Riku looked to Lightning, almost telling her not to fight. But...she was their only chance at survival. He would help when he could. But still, he was worried. "Light..." he said softly. Could she really handle this?

Light glanced back at Riku when she heard her name, and her expression was serious. Still, she nodded faintly to him. I'll be okay. Seeing movement out of the corner of her eye, she turned her head sharply to see Ansem jump down from the balcony along with Vexen. It was Ansem who boldly stood a few feet in front of her, though, his guardian appearing behind him. The threat was clear.
Riku ground his teeth together, glaring at Ansem. Even if he didn't have his Keyblade, he would hurt Ansem if he wounded Lightning. He wouldn't let the demon take his life away from him so easily.

Odin suddenly appeared beside Lightning, the soldier blinking in surprise. She hadn't summoned him. These days, it seemed like Odin was really getting a mind of his own. Regardless, he shifted to his horse form, nodding his head towards Kingdom Hearts. That was when she understood. "Riku," she said, turning around to face him. "Go. Figure out a way to fix this." ...She couldn't hold them off forever.

Riku shook his head, face grave. "No," he said in refusal. "I'm not leaving you." He could at least use his Dark powers; he would help if he could. Kingdom Hearts could wait. He was staying with Lightning.

Kairi saw what was happening, and what Lightning was implying. Given the redhead's strong heart, she had a feeling she could be of some help. "...I'll go," she announced, stepping past a few people so Riku and Lightning could see her. "If you want someone to go, I'll do it." She was one of the most capable.

"I'm going too," Sora said, stepping forward automatically when Kairi volunteered herself. No way was he about to let her go alone, even if he didn't have a Keyblade to protect her with. His eyes widened when Ansem went in to strike Lightning, though she quickly lifted her blade and blocked it.

"Fine," Light said with a grunt, pressing back against Ansem's weapon. "Go. Odin will take you." And he'll take care of you, too. Her Eidolon had a special connection to her; he shared her desire to protect her friends. He wouldn't let her down.

Kairi moved over to get on Odin, who Riku was standing beside. The young man offered to help her up, picking her up by the waist and giving her a small boost. Due to her dress, she was forced to sit with both legs to one side, but he knew Odin wouldn't let her fall; he would protect her. Riku looked to Sora then, having confidence in his best friend. "Be careful," he said. They would try to handle things here, even if none of them could really do much.

"Will do," Sora responded with a nod, getting up on Odin in front of Kairi so that she could hold onto him. He wouldn't let her fall off. Whatever was in store for them in Kingdom Hearts, he would protect her from it. And he would find a way to save his friends down here, too. As soon as he and Kairi were settled, Odin received the message from Lightning: Get going. Odin ran over the rubble that fell before he escaped the building through a hole in the wall, heading for Kingdom Hearts.

Xemnas smirked as the Princess and the Master rode off on the summon, but he lowered his gaze to the rest of the guests. "Now that that's settled, let the real fun begin," he chimed. He snapped his fingers, spawning many different types of Nobodies to the scene. The reaction he got was what he expected: terror.

Roxas instantly got on the defensive, backing up so he was in front of Namine. He put his hands behind him to act as a cage for her, but a Dusk decided then to come toward him. Instinct took over, and Roxas threw a fist at it, knocking it back. All he had as his weapon now was his body; that was all everyone had.

"Roxas," Namine said softly in his ear, setting a hand on his back. "...Let me protect you." She didn't wield a Keyblade, or any weapon, when she used magic. Fortunately for her, she was wearing the necklace that King Mickey gave her, which gave her unlimited magic. Upon seeing another dusk coming in their direction, she took her hand off Roxas's back and sent a fireball at it, knocking it back and causing serious damage. I can help here. I know I can!
