Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

At the whisper, Roxas turned his head to look at Namine in surprise. There was a hint of fear in his eyes, but he would never admit it; he was too proud for that, even if he did just lose his Keyblades. His eyes widened when he saw what Namine did, and it was enough to convince him. He looked at her and nodded. This time, she could protect him, but he would watch her back.

Namine nodded faintly back to Roxas, looking over to the side and seeing sniper shots go towards some of her knew friends. She lifted a hand to her chest automatically, casting a shield around them. The bullets reflected off of it, going back and destroying the Nobodies responsible. Namine could handle protecting people here, while Lightning went for the bigger enemies. This was the best they could do right now.
Riku saw Xigbar taking his chance to use some bullets, the man teleporting to be near Riku's position. The boy's eyes widened as he dodge-rolled out of the way with barely any time to spare. He was on his feet within a second, and he called to Dark Aura. He fired it off at the Organization member, who simply teleported away with a laugh. This will take a while.

I like bullets too, Lightning thought upon seeing what happened with Riku, pointing her gunblade at where Xigbar teleported away to. She grunted and shot off some bullets, at the same time opening her free hand and casting Ruin against Ansem. She could already tell how bad this was going to be. I need to go all out, right away, she declared. And that was what she did. She went all out on the offensive against Ansem while Vexen and Xemnas also were on her. Larxene and Demyx were more amused watching the hopeless fight.
Roxas found his knuckles bleeding throughout the battle, since he had been punching and kicking many of the enemies away when Namine was busy releasing attacks or defensive spells of her own. He winced when he punched a Creeper in the head, his knuckles stinging with the contact. He waved his hand briefly to shake away the pain, but he found himself being tackled by a Dusk. The thing went to swing its arms at him, and he lifted his own to protect his face. He could get hurt, sure; he would deal with it. He just wouldn't die.

Namine sent a fire spell at the Nobody that tackled Roxas, knocking him off her boyfriend while also defeating him for good. She didn't have a chance to cast Cure on Roxas though before somebody, or something else beat her to it. Roxas's body glowed green briefly with the spell, one that came from an Eidolon Lightning summoned named Bahamut. It was so strange how Lightning had multiple entities fighting along side her. She never knew Lightning had the ability to summon so many allies.

Lightning stumbled back to avoid one of Xigbar's bullets, the brand on her hand glowing brightly enough that it could be seen through her black glove. She summoned a few Eidolons throughout the tough fight--Bahamut, Alexander, Ifrit, and now... She grunted, lifting her hands in front of her as she prepared for another blow. But it didn't land, the Shiva sisters appearing in front of her magically. They blocked the attack before going on the offensive, Lightning feeling very lightheaded. All these Eidolons were draining the core of her strength. She couldn't go on much longer.

Roxas peeked an eye open when the Nobody was knocked off of him, and when he was suddenly healed. He looked around the area to see that many of the warriors were smart enough to back off, even if some of them were handling battles with their bodies, much like he was doing. They couldn't back down; even without their Keyblades, they were still strong.

Kain stood next to Riku now, at the front of the group and having a front seat to Lightning's battles. "This isn't going well," he said lowly to Riku, though his eyes stayed on Lightning. Her strength is failing. She becomes more vulnerable by the second. But she wouldn't admit it to anyone. Instead, she was taking on Ansem and his Guardian. Vexen fell already, but he was the only one. This was a battle they couldn't win, but Lightning already knew that, didn't she?
"No kidding," Riku commented, his eyes darting around the area. They landed on Lightning last, worry present in them as he watched her. He had to help her, somehow; he wouldn't let her take this all on her own. "...We can't let her do all the work." He and Kain had to help.

"I have no idea how to," Kain admitted bluntly, shaking his head. He was weaponless, and Riku was out of magic. The only bystander who could assist was Namine, and she was tied down with Nobodies. As far as he could tell, there was nothing anybody could do.

Standing up on the balcony, Larxene continued to watch the battle. But it was dragging on too long for her tastes. She started charging up a very strong lightning spell, preparing to send it towards the girl in the metal armor. That would definitely cause some damage. Say your prayers, soldier. You're about to get burned.

Namine looked up at the balcony, eyes widening when she saw Larxene charging up an attack that would be sent at Lightning, The blonde gathered her strength, and when Larxene was almost fully charged, she cast her spell. Water suddenly appeared above Larxene and drenched her, electrocuting her and also taking away her ability to charge more attacks. Larxene was shocked and caught off guard by it, which made Demyx start laughing beside her. Fortunately for Namine, Larxene's immediate anger went towards him as she smacked him upside the head.

Roxas turned his head when he had time, no enemies focusing on him for the moment. It was at that moment that he saw Namine's attack, and what happened with Larxene. He blinked in surprise. Since when could she control water?

"It wasn't me!" Demyx cried in his defense, putting a hand on his head after Larxene smacked him.

Larxene's narrowed eyes went down to the crowd, the Savage Nymph wondering who would dare cast that spell. Then her eyes landed on Namine. "Witch!" she cried. The blonde's eyes darted up to her, widening when Larxene jumped down off the balcony and started over towards her. One brave soul tried to stand in her way, but she gave him one kick that paralyzed him. That's gonna happen to you next, Witch.

Roxas saw what was happening. "No!" he cried. Larxene! He sprinted forward, pushing through a few people and avoiding an attack from a Dusk as he tried to get to Namine. He wasn't about to let her get hurt by Larxene; the nymph would have no mercy on her. Roxas reached Namine and stood in front of her instantly, his hard eyes finding the green ones of Larxene. Don't touch her.

Namine blinked in surprise when Roxas stood in the way of her, her eyes going back to Larxene then. The girl stared at them for a moment or two, but then launched an attack that she didn't need lightning for. She threw her knives at Roxas with deadly accuracy, only to have the attack avoided. Namine cast a shield in front of Roxas and protected him, but that was Larxene's plan. The witch teleported behind her, throwing the knives of her other hand at Namine. She cried out in pain when one pierced her side, the other two scraping her arm and leg. She fell down to her knees, tears automatically forming at the strong attack. Larxene...
"Namine," Roxas said in fear, kneeling down next to her. He placed a hand on her shoulder, the other hovering above the kunai stuck in her side. Oh no... Roxas turned his head and located Larxene. You're dead!

Larxene hmphed at the display, using her speed to her advantage. She quickly closed the distance and kicked the side of Namine's head, smirking in pleasure when the blonde fell down to her side and probably lost consciousness. She went away in a portal, joining the fight against Lightning now. It was time to end this.

Namine squeezed her eyes shut as she laid on her side, her head spinning from the kick. She was still conscious, but barely. I can't...I can't be weak right now, she thought to herself. She had to help still! The fight wasn't over...

Roxas felt fear erupt within him as he saw what happened, and it was literally right in front of him. Namine...he thought in terror and worry. He couldn't let her keep getting hurt. She was done fighting. He remained on his knees and put his arms underneath her, picking her up. Rising to his feet, he looked around for an escape route. This couldn't keep happening. Her fight was over.

"No, Roxas..." Namine murmured, eyebrows furrowed when she felt him pick her up. He couldn't take her out of here. Larxene was gone now anyway, and most of the Nobodies were gone. There wasn't much danger left, but enough that Namine wanted to stay and assist. Lightning couldn't fight her battle alone anymore...
"No." Roxas looked down at Namine and started walking. "You're done," he declared. He wasn't going to see her get hurt anymore. It was more than enough to cause him nightmares; he would be having them for weeks after this, if they made it out alive. Namine would; he would make sure of that. He wasn't so sure about himself.

"I said no," Namine said firmly, casting a one-sided shield in Roxas's path rather than a surrounding one. She wouldn't let him take her away. She was okay now; the fogginess from the kick was going away. She could still help.

Lightning took a look up at the sky briefly, seeing Kingdom Hearts was the same as before. Sora and Kairi should have found something by now; they had been going for a while. She soldier grunted, feeling Demyx's sitar whack her in the back. She stumbled forward, giving him a death glare before sending Ifrit his way. But even if Ifrit took Demyx, it didn't matter. The fight was still completely unfair and she was almost out of strength.

Roxas ran into the shield that was casted, hitting his head. He shook it and blinked away the daze, glaring at Namine in disapproval. "So did I," he replied lowly. "I'm not going to lose you." He said the words slowly, that way she would understand how scared he was. He was sure it showed in his eyes.

"Don't give up!" Riku cried, fighting to keep on his feet. He had been getting attacked by Nobodies, which separated him and Kain. He tried protecting himself, but punches could only do so much in retaliation. But Lightning had to keep going; she was their only hope. Riku cried out when he was tackled to the ground, rolling with a Dancer. He wasn't about to go down without a fight, though; he wouldn't die without giving it his all.

"No, you're not," Namine agreed, not letting the shield fade. She wasn't going to die; she wasn't as fragile as Roxas thought she was. Yes, she was in great pain and very tired, but he went through that in tons of battles. That was something that she couldn't be immune from.
Roxas only stared at Namine, not caring about enemies or having his back to them. He didn't want to lose the one person who made him feel different, and not just because he was a Nobody. But...she made him feel like somebody, and that was what mattered. He didn't want to lose that if she left...

Namine looked back up at Roxas, knowing his opinion wouldn't change. And neither would hers. She gently worked her way out of his arms, cutting back a groan because of the knife that was still in her side. She lifted a hand and wrapped it around her stomach, the other curling into a fist by her side. I'll still fight.
Roxas lifted a hand and grabbed Namine's upper arm, his hold firm to represent his feelings. "I'm with you the entire time," he declared. He wasn't leaving her side. If she tried to lose him, she would find him behind her the whole way. He wasn't going to be without her.
