Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine smiled weakly, nodding as well to show her gratitude. Got it. She looked back ahead when she heard a cry, one that belonged to Bahamut. She gathered her power and sent spells to help him, also praying that this would end soon. None of them could last much longer.

Meanwhile in Kingdom Hearts, Sora and Kairi were travelling on foot. Odin was as well, fighting off any enemies that came their way with ease. This place was...empty, for the most part. But up ahead, Sora saw something that he was very familiar with. He grunted, taking off at a run while trusting Kairi to follow. Is that...?

Kairi reached out a hand to Sora, opening her mouth to speak. Knowing her fiance, she knew he wouldn't stop. So, she decided to pursue him, breaking into a run as she tried to figure out what was wrong. They hadn't come across anything so far, so what did Sora find?

Sora stopped by the item that was laying on the ground, kneeling down by it. "...Kairi," he said to his fiance, his voice unreadable and a little weak. It was the X-blade. And he was its chosen wielder, once upon a time. I think...I need to wield it again, in order to set things right. What other option was there? They were out of time.
Once the object became clear, Kairi slowed down. She stopped a few feet away from Sora, standing behind him as she stared at the object on the ground. "...No," she said quietly, shaking her head. No, he couldn't. Not the X-blade.

Sora looked up at Kairi, eyes softer as he slowly rose to his feet and walked the short distance between them. "I'm sorry, Kai," he said softly, lifting a hand and briefly running his fingers over her cheek. "...I have to." The X-blade had so much power locked within it, and only Sora could control it. He had no choice but to take it and fight with it, to save all his friends.
Kairi shook her head, lifting her hand and grabbing Sora's wrist before his hand completely fell away. "No..." she said, looking down at his chest. "There has to be something else." She couldn't lose him to that weapon; it was terrifying the last time. She didn't want to go through it again.

Sora leaned forward, giving Kairi a kiss on her forehead before he pulled back. "There isn't," he whispered to her. And they couldn't stand here arguing over it. Not only was Sora's heart and mind set, but he also wouldn't waste time because he knew his friends were fighting on Destiny Islands. Any wasted time could make the difference between life or death.
Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora's, and seeing the determination in his eyes, she knew his mind was made up. She lifted a hand and set it on his heart, looking at that. It beat steadily underneath her fingers; it was enough to let her know that his heart was ready for this. She nodded and slowly let her hand fall, releasing his that she held in her grasp. "...Okay."

Sora nodded faintly, walking back over to the weapon. He knelt down by it, and his fingertips briefly touched it before he grasped the hilt completely and stood up. From the vibe he got from it, he understood what needed to be done. "This isn't the real Kingdom Hearts," he said, stating the obvious as he turned around to look at Kairi. "But it's still holding onto everyone's powers. ...I think it needs to be destroyed." You need to get out of here.

Ansem looked up at the moon, seeing a spark in it when Sora picked up the weapon. He hmphed, looking over at the Nobody who was clashing with Lightning. "Xemnas," he said, letting his other form know that everything was going according to plan. Now that Sora held the X-blade, it was time to go take it from him. Once the chosen wielder of the weapon was killed, they could possess it.

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed as she looked at Sora, and then at the weapon. "You mean..." she started, trailing off. Sora was going to destroy it? She was...uncomfortable with that, completely, but what could she do to stop him? Nothing.

Xemnas lifted a saber to block Lightning's attack, at the same time turning his head. He saw the look on Ansem's face and nodded. Turning to look at his enemy, he smiled. "Farewell," he called, vanishing right then and there. The next step in the plan was about to be completed.

"I'll be okay," Sora promised Kairi, looking down at the weapon again. I just know it. He would use the X-blade to destroy this false Kingdom Hearts, and then it would release the power it took away from him and his friends. That had to be the solution.

Ansem watched Lightning stumble forward a step when Xemnas suddenly disappeared, her sword no longer pressing against anything. Still, he would leave her with a little...parting gift. He suddenly appeared in front of her, seeing her eyes widen in shock. With one quick movement and a roar, he swung his weapon at Lightning's side, sending her flying into one of the standing pillars.

Lightning grunted roughly when her back hit the pillar, the soldier landing on her side as her sword fell out of her grasp. But that wasn't the worst part. The pillar, along with the debris attached to the top of it, was shaking. Collapsing. Her eyes widened as the pillar fell onto her, the girl only having enough time to lift her arm to protect herself before she was crushed.

Kairi eyed the weapon for another minute, skeptical. But...something told her that this was right. "...What do you want me to do?" she asked. Could she help somehow, or was she supposed to leave?

Riku heard the crumbling from the pillar that fell, and he looked over just in time to see who was underneath. "No!" he cried, eyes widening in terror. "Light!"

"You can start pleading for your life, Princess," Ansem said to the girl, appearing with her and Sora in Kingdom Hearts along with Xemnas. "Or you can flee. We have no business with you." It was Sora that they had to battle now.

Sora grunted, looking over at Kairi. "Go," he silently told her. Odin could still take her out of here before Sora did what he needed to do. He had a feeling he would be distracted with Xemnas and Ansem for a little while anyway.

Kain grunted, seeing the debris settle on Lightning. There was no sign of movement beneath the deep rubble. Not being distracted by Nobodies or the Organization (who were facing Lightning's lingering Eidolons), Kain ran over to the rubble and did the only that he could do: he started digging. Lightning...

Kairi looked to the villains before meeting Sora's gaze, simply looking at him. "Come back," she requested gently, at the same time wishing him good luck. She then took a small step back before turning completely and running away from her fiance and the villains. Odin was ready for her a few yards off, and he knelt down for her, letting her get on with ease since she was still in a dress. It was time she left, but she would wait for Sora outside of Kingdom Hearts.

Riku made it over to Lightning as quickly as he could, some injuries making him move a little slower. He saw Kain digging and pulling the debris away, and Riku collapsed near him, beginning to do the same thing. Keep breathing, he begged of Light. We'll get you out.

Sora nodded faintly to Kairi before he looked back at the two villains, getting into his stance as he glared at them. I'll fight just long enough that Kairi can get out of here, he thought. Then I'll destroy this place, and you guys along with it. He hoped he survived this...But he couldn't think about that. He ran forward and initiated a fight, unaware of what was going on back in Destiny Islands.

Kain continued pulling off debris, blinking when he saw Ven and some others come in where there was room. He may have said he wasn't going to pursue Lightning, but that didn't diminish his feelings for her. If she died today...He would be absolutely heartbroken. Don't you die, mad woman, he silently ordered, grunting as he took off a larger piece of debris.

Riku pulled at chunks of concrete that had fallen on Lightning, and he was happy to see some helping hands after a minute of digging. He reached in and pulled a large piece, throwing it to the side with a grunt. That was when he saw pink hair. "...I see her!" he said, reaching in and beginning to pull at the debris with more energy. "Keep digging!"

Ven pulled at a large piece, and with the help of some others, he managed to flip it off of Lightning. That was when she was mostly cleared except for some small pieces, and the pillar that was over her side. He stood stock still when he saw her clearly, eyes wide. She was clearly unconscious, and back in her dress. ...And broken.
Riku crawled forward, sitting on top of some debris as he pulled smaller pieces away from Lightning's head. Her eyes were closed, and he instantly felt for a pulse. She had one, but it was weak. "Light?" he called, bending down so he was closer. "C'mon, baby, open your eyes. Look at me."

Kain moved the pillar off of Lightning, grunting roughly as he lowered it onto the ground off of her body. "Check her head for injuries," he barked at Riku, kneeling down by Lightning and looking over her for other injuries. They were fairly clear. He lifted a hand, lightly running it over the arm that she used to protect herself. ...Broken, multiple places.
Riku did as instructed, his hands gently moving over Lightning's head, his fingers searching for any broken bones. He felt something wet on his fingertips, though, causing him to check that spot. No skull fracture, he realized, but a deep gash atop her head. It was overflowing with blood, which didn't sit well with him. Nobody had magic anymore, or potions....

Kain moved his hand onto Lightning's side, grunting when he felt her broken ribs. He heard Ven's inquiring voice, so he said it aloud. "Arm's broken multiple places, and so are her ribs." He couldn't tell, but there may have been spinal damage too. He didn't dare move her to find out. They needed to Cure her, now. But there was nobody here who could heal her. ...You can't die to this, Lightning. You're shattered, but... He stood up, looking away. This was the first time he ever saw her so broken. Fragile.
Riku looked down at Lightning with sad eyes. For the first time, he was truly scared. He didn't know what to do, or even what to say. Broken ribs, broken arm, multiple bleeding wounds, and she was unconscious. The pain was too much for her, and a part of him didn't want her to wake up to this. I'm sorry, he thought pathetically. But...I don't know what to do.

Kain removed his tie, balling it up and tossing it over to Riku. "Tie it around her head wound," he instructed without looking. "...And we need to elevate her head." Moving her was terribly risky, but so was letting her head bleed. They had to try and stop the bleeding first.
Riku saw the tie land beside him on the rubble, and he glanced over at it before looking at Kain. He knows more about how to help her than I do, he realized. He grabbed the tie and did as instructed, but he would need some help. "Ven," he called then. "Come hold her head for me."
  • Author
Ven nodded slightly, kneeling down by Riku and doing as he was told. He gently set Lightning's head in his lap, looking down at her face. It broke his heart to see her this way. "...She's still breathing, right?" he checked, fear in his voice. Lightning looked so...lifeless, even if she was truly alive.
