Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Yeah," Riku said, his voice soft as he started to loop the tie around Lightning's head. That was the first thing he checked when he got to her, her pulse. It was still going, thank goodness, but only for so long if she remained in this state. He gently tied the cloth so it was secure, though he lifted his eyes to Ven. "Don't move," he instructed lowly. "Like Kain said, we need to keep her head elevated." Ven was doing just that.

Kain witness Ven nod faintly, but his eyes went elsewhere. He saw that the battlefield was now quiet because the Shiva Sisters froze all the remaining enemies in ice. Lightning's Eidolons still lingered...His eyes darted to the brand on her hand, which was glowing. "...Those Eidolons," he said lowly. "...They're sapping what's left of Lightning's strength." Yet they still won't leave. They're killing her...
"You'd think they would have left by now," Riku commented, rising to his feet. The battle was over and their summoner was wounded and out for the count. Shouldn't they have known? Or was there something missing?

"Lightning probably believes there is still a battle to be fought," Kain said, looking back at the girl who was unconscious and showing no signs of waking up. "...She is keeping them here." But she needs to send them away. She can't lose any more strength, or she'll lose her life. He wished she would wake up and summon the monsters away, but she wouldn't as long as she thought there was a threat.
So what do you suggest we do? Riku wanted to ask, since Kain knew so much, after all. But that was the thing; they couldn't do anything. As long as Light thought there was a battle to be fought, the Eidolons would stay, and her life would keep depleting. Riku looked down at Lightning, eyebrows furrowing. Couldn't she hear the silence? The battle was over...

Ven looked up when he heard a loud rumble, though it wasn't raining. "What was that...?" He looked over at a gap in the wall, seeing Odin run in with only one of his friends on its back. Odin was the cause of the noise, or so he presumed. Kairi was back, but where was Sora? Wasn't there any way they could get their Keyblades back?

Kairi held onto Odin with both hands as he strode through where the ballroom used to be, and he was instantly drawn to his summoner--Lightning. Kairi's eyes widened when she saw the woman's state, Riku approaching her. "What happened?" she asked, putting her hands on his shoulders as he helped her down.

"One of Ansem's dirty tricks," Riku simply said, fighting the urge to glance back at the woman he loved. "Where's Sora?"

"Fighting Ansem and Xemnas," Kairi revealed, seeing Riku's eyes harden. "He can handle it. He has the X-blade." She knew nobody would like to hear that, but it was helping them. Helping Sora.

Okay, that's enough, Sora thought, aware that Kairi was back to safety by now. He didn't know that Lightning's Eidolons disappeared when Odin arrived and completed his task; he was distracted. It's time to destroy this place. He knocked back both Xemnas and Ansem with a powerful attack, holding the X-blade in front of him as it glowed, also trembling with the power it now held. It transmitted a message to Sora: Let me go. He acted on instinct, doing as it said as he threw it away from himself as quickly as it could. It exploded, destroying Kingdom Hearts from the inside.

Terra looked up at Kingdom Hearts with wide eyes, seeing it explode into millions of fireworks and flames. Sora! Still, beams of light traveled from the exploding moon, impacting all of them the same way they did earlier. Only this time, the feeling of emptiness was filled. Their Keyblades were back.

Riku looked at his body when it briefly glowed, as did Kairi's and everyone else's. The Keyblade... Riku held out his hand and tested his theory, and sure enough, the weapon reappeared. Sora did it. "Light," he thought instantly, turning to look at his beloved. He had to heal her.

Kairi's eyes were locked on the bits of Kingdom Hearts that fell away. A part of her was scared for Sora's safety--even worried he wasn't alive--but her heart told her everything would be fine. The connection that was special between her and Sora, it was still there. He was okay, she just knew it.

Namine bit down on her lip, leaning into Roxas as she sat on the ground and looked up at the exploding Kingdom Hearts. Could anyone have survived that? she thought in worry, not moving because she wasn't healed yet. She lost her necklace, so she was out of magic. And the knife needed to be removed from her side before the healing spell was cast, anyway. She was distracted by something else, though: a stray beam of light, falling away from Kingdom Hearts towards the ocean. She suddenly wanted to go to the ocean and see what it was; that was just the feeling in her heart. Maybe Kairi felt it too.
Kairi saw that stray beam of light, and her eyes guessed where it was going when she saw the beach not too far off. Sora, she thought instantly. It was him. She picked up her skirt slightly so she could move more freely, starting at a run as she climbed over some rubble in her path. This was a moment when she wished she had her sneakers and not her heels, but it couldn't be helped. Kairi simply focused on reaching the beach, where she would find her husband-to-be. Alive.

Namine saw Kairi start running, which didn't surprise her. She shifted her gaze to Roxas then, seeing other Keyblade wielders also start towards the beach to see what was up. "Roxas," she said, her tone saying it all. We should go too. She would have already gotten up and starting running if she wasn't paralyzed by pain.
Roxas looked down at Namine, though he already knew what she wanted. "...Do you trust me?" he asked softly. The knife was still in her side, and she needed to be healed before moving. Only one thing could be done.

Namine glanced down at her side when Roxas's eyes briefly went there, and she immediately knew what he was referring to. She nodded, gripping her dress in anticipation. She knew...he needed to pull out the knife, and it was going to be extremely painful. But if Lightning could withstand all the damage that she took, then Namine could withstand this.
Roxas put a hand on Namine's cheek, keeping her head tilted up. "Look only at me, okay?" he requested gently. She couldn't watch, and he doubted she would, which was why he told her to keep her eyes on him throughout the entire thing. He was the last person who wanted to cause her pain, but it needed to be done so she could feel better. That was what he kept telling himself.

Namine shook her head faintly, shutting her eyes when moisture appeared. "No," she said softly, eyebrows furrowed. She didn't want Roxas seeing the pain in her eyes when he took it out. "I'll keep my eyes shut." It would be better that way, anyway. She was scared and hurt, but it would be over soon.
Roxas didn't say anything. Instead, he looked to the knife as his hand remained on Namine's cheek. He moved his other one to it, his arm already behind her back since she was leaning against him. He took in a breath and grabbed the object. He squeezed his eyes closed and with a quick, strong tug, pulled it out.

Namine cried out in pain, though she quickly lifted a hand to her mouth to muffle it. The moment after it was tugged out, she felt the pain try to knock her unconscious. She leaned into Roxas more as the wound started bleeding again, dizzy and lightheaded from the pain.
"Breathe," Roxas instructed, dropping the knife. As soon as it hit the ground, it faded away. He summoned his Keyblade to his hand as soon as it was free and called to the power of healing, at the same time putting his lips to Namine's forehead. Just breathe.

Namine slowly lowered her hand from her mouth, gripping Roxas's shirt lightly as she felt him kiss her forehead. She also felt the healing spell wash over her, her aches and pains fading away as her wound closed up. Exhaling a soft breath, she continued to let Roxas hold onto her. Thank you, she thought silently.
Roxas pulled his lips away from Namine's forehead to look down at her, his arm free of the Keyblade as he wrapped it around her. "...You okay?" he asked quietly. Nobody was around anymore, most of the warriors gone to greet Sora. Riku was still here to help Lightning, but Roxas hadn't been paying much attention to that; he was too worried about his own girl.

"I'm okay," Namine whispered back, keeping her eyes shut as she tried to will the moisture away. A tear escaped from her eye, but it wasn't because she was in pain anymore. It was just left over from when Roxas yanked out the knife.
Roxas lifted his other hand to cup the side of Namine's head, his fingers in her hair as he kept her head against his shoulder. "When you're ready, we'll go see Sora," he said softly, okay with just sitting here and holding her. Namine came first, always.

Namine nodded faintly, lifting a hand to wipe at that tear. "I'm ready," she said softly, opening her eyes and looking up at Roxas. She wanted to go see that he was okay. She hoped he was, and she wondered if anybody found him yet. What exactly happened? Why did Kingdom Hearts suddenly explode?
Roxas looked down at Namine, studying her for a moment. The look in her eyes was something he couldn't disregard; she was telling the truth. "Okay," he said with a small nod, releasing her. He got to his feet and then offered his hands to help her up. He hoped Sora was okay.
