Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

But I'm grateful you are, Riku wanted to add, but at that moment, he couldn't find his voice. What he said was true: he didn't think Light could have survived that. He couldn't explain the amount of fear that coursed through him at that time, but it was almost too much for him to handle. He almost lost it, but Kain kept him in check.

Light opened her eyes after a few moments of silence, looking over at Riku. She lifted her hand and set her fingertips against his jaw, gently turning his face towards her. She didn't have a single thing to stay to him. She just...wanted him to see her, and know that he didn't lose her. She was still with him.
Riku allowed Lightning to turn his head to face her, but he hesitated at looking at her. His gaze rested on the bottle in her hand before he finally lifted it to her eyes. He was glad to see them, there was no doubt about that. Riku knew he would have gone after Ansem himself if he lost Lightning; he would have begged to be taken. Without Lightning, there was no future. It was sad that he depended that much on someone, but this was his true love. It was meant to be that depressing without her.

Light's eyes danced over Riku's face for a few moments, though she then slowly lowered her hand to sit in her lap again. She didn't need to scoot closer to Riku for her next action. Her head found his shoulder as her eyes shut, the young woman staying silent. There was nothing to say, really. Unless Riku thought of something to talk about.
Riku let his lips find Light's hair for a moment, the boy pulling back to rest his chin on her head. He looked out the window in silence, seeing a few palm trees and the moonlight shining through. He was happy he at least had this moment; he could have been mourning the loss of his beloved if it wasn't for destiny being in their favor.

Light let Riku hold that position for a minute, and though she was comfortable, this wasn't her ideal position. "...I know this will sound childish," she said softly, keeping her eyes shut. "...But...could you...hold me?" She didn't mean just wrapping his arms around her; she wanted to be cradled. Like she told him, she knew it was childish, but that was what she wanted right now.
Riku couldn't help but smile, humming softly as his eyes briefly closed. "Everyone's allowed to be a kid sometimes," he reasoned gently, pulling his head away from hers to look at her. Riku shifted slightly, wrapping an arm around Light's back as he brought her closer, the other arm wrapping around her front and keeping her close. He wasn't sure exactly what she meant by "hold", but this was the best he could think of.

Lightning felt Riku's warm arms go around her, but she wanted to be closer still. She turned slightly and lifted her legs, putting them over Riku's flat ones as her knees remained bent. It was then that she wrapped an arm over Riku's front, let her head find his shoulder, and allowed her eyes to fall shut again.
Oh, so that's what you mean, Riku thought, looking down at the woman he loved. One hand rested on her shoulder, keeping her in place as the other ran over her bare arm. She was obviously tired, so he would let her rest. No more talking.

It's over this time, right? Light thought tiredly, knowing that Riku was going to try and coax her to sleep even if she just told him a few minutes ago that she didn't want to sleep. His hold on her was soothing like a lullaby, and though she couldn't hear his heartbeat because her head wasn't against his chest, she was content. As long as she was in his arms, she would always be content.
Riku allowed himself to rest his head against the headboard, a soft breath leaving him as he closed his eyes. He continued to run his hand over Lightning's arm, trying to coax her to unconsciousness. He was terrified moments ago that she wouldn't wake up anytime soon, but now he was trying to get her to rest. After all she did, and all she sacrificed, she deserved it.

"I told you I didn't want to sleep," Light murmured to Riku, though her voice showed that she was ready to do just that. She was really exhausted, and really comfortable too. Riku was taking advantage of that, much like she did to him in the past before. She couldn't really scold him for this though; at least he didn't just knock her out by pressing one of her pressure points. He did that in the past, but those were different times.
Riku smiled slightly, though he kept his eyes closed. "I know," he responded softly. He knew that, but it didn't matter. Light may have not wanted to sleep, but her body was saying something completely different. She was in his lap, cuddled up in his arms, and hardly able to speak clearly. She was tired, and she knew it.

"Jerk," Light mumbled, though she obviously didn't mean it. If she wanted to call Riku a nasty name for real, she would have said something much worse than that. She didn't want to pass out though and let the weakness take her again. But it didn't seem like she had much of a choice now; she was losing her grip.
Riku's small smile remained as he looked down at Lightning. "Love you too," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. He lowered his lips to her hair, holding the position for a moment before letting the side of his face rest on her head. Goodnight.

Lightning tried to hum her amused response, but she couldn't find her voice. She felt Riku's lips and head against hers, but that was the last thing that she was aware of before she passed out again. She knew that whenever she woke up, Riku wouldn't be far away. And she'd still be alive, with him.
Roxas had tried sleeping, but it just wasn't working. He still had too much adrenaline pumping through his veins after the last battle. He stared out Namine's bedroom window, having promised to stay with her tonight after all that happened. But that was exactly what was bothering him; she got hurt...badly, and wouldn't let him take her to safety. He could have lost her...

Namine was rolled on her side as she laid on the bed, eyes shut as she tried to force herself to fall asleep. But she heard Roxas get up a little while ago for some reason and noticed him standing at the window. He probably couldn't get tonight off his mind either. At that thought, she lifted a hand, setting it on the spot where Larxene's knife had been stuck in her.
Roxas adjusted his arms, which were crossed over his bare chest. It was starting to rain outside, and he watched the raindrops hit the window pane in silence. His eyebrows furrowed when he thought of a few hours ago, and how deadly it could have been. Nobody passed, thank goodness, but it had come close in multiple occasions. One with Lightning, the other with Namine...

Namine slowly sat herself up after a few moments, wrapping her arms around her legs even if her legs were still covered by the sheets. She felt...dirty. And sick to her stomach. It wasn't because of sickness, it was because of the fight. She really didn't feel cut out for battles, and yet...it was her ability to work without a Keyblade that may have saved a few lives. Still, she felt uneasy about fighting. Her nature was so gentle that it was hard to want to fight battles like that all the time, like Roxas did.
Roxas's hands balled into fists under his arms, his eyes closing as he exhaled a rough breath through his nose. She could have died, he thought. And she was okay with it. But...what about me? And our friends? They would have suffered if Namine died, all of them.

Namine glanced over at Roxas briefly, but noticed that he was lost in thought. She softly pushed herself out of bed, wearing sweats and a T-shirt as she walked towards the bedroom door. She always liked the rain, and since Roxas was watching it from the only window in the room, she'd have to watch it somewhere else. Maybe she would even go outside and stand in it, just because.
"...You should be resting," Roxas called, though his voice was hardly loud; Kairi was sleeping just across the hall, after all. Namine was hurt, and most likely exhausted from all the fighting she did. Walking around probably wasn't the best idea at the moment.

Namine stopped in the doorway when Roxas spoke to her, turning a little to look at him even if he wasn't looking at her. So, he wasn't completely lost in thought after all. "I know," she responded softly to his statement. "I'll be back in a few minutes." She wasn't sure if she would just sit by a window or go outside, but she was leaning towards the latter. Maybe standing in the rain would make her feel better.
Roxas closed his eyes, releasing a small breath as he nodded. "'Kay," he replied shortly. Didn't Namine see how much he cared about her? How much he loved her? A Nobody wasn't supposed to have a heart, nor was he supposed to feel. But he was...and it was because of her. And she was willing to throw it away?
