A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku glared at Xigbar with hard eyes, remaining silent. Fine, he thought in hatred. But what are you doing here? They would at least be kind enough to answer that, he was sure.

 

"Seems to me you're not a very good guardian, Riku," Xigbar chimed with a smirk. His golden eyes darted to the woman he had against the wall, her hair the color of rose petals. "You left Petals here unprotected. Now how can we just let that opportunity go?"

 

Riku's hands balled into tighter fists at the words, his cold eyes finding Lightning. She's losing oxygen, he realized. They're going to kill her if I don't give them what they want.

"Get on with it, Xigbar," Larxene said, feigning boredom. "Lover-boy seems a little impatient, and you're killing the damsel-in-distress." It was time they told Riku what they wanted. Or rather, what Xigbar wanted and Larxene was helping him with: a Keyblade.

"Aww, c'mon, Larxene," Xigbar replied while still smirking at Lightning. "I know you like the torture just as much as I do, especially the sweet-talking." He sent a wink in her direction before he chuckled lowly to himself. He loosened the pressure on Lightning's neck only slightly, giving her some room to breathe but not granting her the chance to escape.

 

"Your words are crap," Riku spat. "Tell me the truth. What do you want?" He wasn't willing to just stand here and let Lightning suffer for whatever these two wanted.

Light coughed, trying to catch her breath. It didn't matter what they wanted; they wouldn't be getting it. Even while still recovering, she mustered up the strength for one desperate move. She curled her hand into a fist and launched it at Xigbar's face, though she wasn't sure if it would land or even do serious damage. She just knew that she had to try something.

Xigbar's senses were high enough for him to see what was coming, and he grabbed Lightning's fist and released her from the wall, though he twisted her arm behind her back and pressed her to the floor. "Nice try, sweetcheeks, but you've gotta be faster than that!" he stated with a smirk.

 

Riku's eyes widened and he took a small step forward out of instinct. Lightning! he thought desperately, reaching out a hand to her. "Just tell me!" he ordered. What did they want?!

 

Xigbar held Lightning to the floor, though he lifted his gaze to Riku. "I want what you have," he stated lowly. "A Keyblade."

No... Light thought, both because of Xigbar's actions and his response to what Riku asked. She couldn't find her breath to tell Riku not to give into his demands though, still breathless. Also, she was in pain. Larxene's lightning attack burned her earlier and now Xigbar was pressing against a lot of those wounds. She was stuck here unless she thought of some brilliant plan...

Riku's eyes narrowed instantly at the word, his surprise being masked by hatred and fury. Xigbar was hurting Lightning in order to get a Keyblade. So like him, he thought with disgust. "And if I don't?" he prodded, eyebrows furrowing.

 

Xigbar laughed. "That's an easy one," he answered, pressing harder into Lightning's back with his hand, one of his knees in between her shoulders. "Petals here dies."

"Don't," Light managed to say, eyes squeezed shut at the pain of Xigbar's pressure. Riku couldn't give into him. He couldn't! Whether Xigbar got the Keyblade or not, he would try to kill her. They couldn't play along with him. They had to find another way out of this.

Riku's eyes found Lightning at the forced word, though he instantly looked away. If he did give Xigbar the Keyblade, somehow, he would misuse it. But if he didn't, Lightning would be killed. Wasn't there some way around this? There has to be, he thought, closing his eyes as he tried to think quickly.

Light didn't come up with a solution in that short time, not that she needed to. Something happened on its own. Jasmine had picked herself up and though she was wounded and not trained to fight, she still had all the courage of her master. The dog leaped at Xigbar now that he was down at her level, aiming to knock him off of Lightning.

Riku's eyes opened with a start when he heard Xigbar cry out amidst some growling. His eyes landed on his canine friend, who was on top of Xigbar and shaking his hand that had pinned Lightning down vigorously. Riku took this as his chance, summoning his Keyblade and shooting off a Blizzard spell towards Larxene as he quickly closed in on Lightning.

The pressure from Xigbar loosened enough that Lightning was able to squirm more. She wished she was in her normal outfit and had her sword on her, or that she could summon her armor, but she couldn't do the latter when Larxene was around. Xigbar fell off of her and Lightning rolled to the side, propping herself up with one arm with a grunt after just one roll. Jasmine broke her free, but now she was worried for the dog. She wasn't out of the clear though, since Larxene was barely fazed by Riku's attack.

Riku could hear Xigbar cursing at Jazz because of the interference, but Riku was more focused on the witch too close to Lightning. He shot off Dark Aura at her continuously, a rough grunt leaving his lips at the power that left him. He had to get Lightning out of here...

Screw it, Light decided. She had to depend on Etro's power again, even if that was dangerous for more reasons than one. She summoned her sword and armor, casting Cure on herself before rising to her feet. Her eyes widened when she saw Jasmine was no longer on Xigbar, not that Light was too surprised by that. The canine wasn't trained to fight after all.

 

Larxene dodged many of Riku's orbs, her speed and agility helping her with that. She looked over to the side, seeing Lightning in her armor. "Making the same mistake again, soldier?" she taunted, sending a lightning bolt right at the soldier. It hit, electrocuting Lightning badly enough that she fell down to her knees. That's what you get for wearing metal armor, dimwit.

Riku decided it was time he finally closed in on Larxene, wanting to get up close and personal with the nymph. But Xigbar had other plans. While Larxene handled Lightning and Riku attempted to make his move, the man shot a chain of bullets at the nineteen-year-old's side, causing him to grunt and put a hand to his ribs. Riku turned his head to glare at the man, lifting his sword arm to fire off a chain of Fire and Blizzard spells. I can't let them win...

"I think it's time we had a change of scenery, Xigbar," Larxene called, approaching the soldier who was on her knees. Lightning angrily glared up at her from behind her bangs and lifted her gun to shoot at her, but Larxene was too quick. Too deadly. She kicked the weapon out of Lightning's grasp and them grasped Lightning, pulling both her arms behind her and tugging her to her feet. They had to make sure nothing interfered this time around. Besides, Vexen and Zexion were a part of this plot too, so they could help them.

"Heh, I'm with you on that one," Xigbar said in agreement. He went to stand beside Lightning and Larxene and snapped his fingers. A portal swallowed them up and took them from the scene.

 

Riku grunted. "No!" he cried, sprinting forward and diving through the portal just before it vanished. He wasn't going to let them take Lightning!

Perfect, Larxene thought upon seeing Riku jump through. That was how it was meant to be. Now, he would be in their trap. She let Zexion do his work with the illusionary world that they landed in. They were really in Radiant Garden, but it looked like the Realm of Darkness. With Darkness that smothering, Riku wouldn't be able to pick up that Lightning's scent was different. The Lightning that Larxene had a grip on now was not the true Lightning, but an illusion of her. The real Lightning was knocked out by Larxene just as they entered the scene and was laying outside the illusion, powerless to interfere. They'd get their Keyblade just as long as Riku believed they could kill the Lightning that Larxene had a grip on though. The plan was a brilliant one.

Riku managed to locate the ground in time when he made it through the portal, ducking his head and rolling smoothly to his feet. His Keyblade still rested in his hand, ready to be used upon his command. But...he instantly got a feeling of dread. "The Realm of Darkness," he whispered in horror. Lightning couldn't be brought here!

"Bingo, Romeo," Larxene said with a smirk. "And just so that nobody interfere's this time..." She released Lightning and the illusion spun around as if to attack her. All that it got was a slug to the head, and the fake Lightning collapsed as if the hit knocked her out. There we go, that'll make things simple. Lightning was incapacitated either way, but now Riku thought the situation was more dire than it really was. He'd have no choice but to hand over the Keyblade.

Riku's eyes widened in horror, and he instantly started running to his beloved. Unfortunately, he didn't get far; Xigbar pelted him with bullets again, causing him to stumble and land gracelessly on his knees. His kneecaps burned at the impact despite the jeans he wore, but it didn't matter. He looked up to see his girlfriend on the ground, unconscious. "Light..."

"No way she can save herself now, not that she could at the very start either," Larxene said with a smirk, looking down at "Lightning". "The damsel-in-distress needs her hero to save her, Riku. And quickly, before the bad guys lose their patience." As much as she loved taunting Riku, she didn't want things to go sour this time.

Riku's eyes narrowed at the words, and he glared up at Larxene before moving to rise to his feet. "You witch," he spat. "I'm gonna--umph!" He winced, barely catching himself with his hand when he was suddenly whacked on the back of the head with something blunt. He heard a chuckle nearby and felt a chill crawl down his spine. Vexen.

 

"Now, now, Riku," Vexen chimed. "We mustn't be too hastey. Who knows what could become of your precious other if you give into eagerness?" He walked around the boy, his shield in his hand as Riku glared up at him. "There's the familiar face of my earliest subject. Welcome back."

 

Riku growled between his teeth, wanting nothing more than to pummel Vexen into the ground. But he couldn't, not here, not like this. He was outnumbered by three villains so far, and he was in the Realm of Darkness. He wasn't necessarily weak here, but he didn't like it nonetheless.

"Glad to see you decided to join us, Vexen," Larxene said as she rolled her eyes. She and the man didn't have the best relationship, but they were cooperating for Xigbar's sake. All of them were cooperating since they were all that remained of the Organization. In order to gain anything, they would need to work together. Today was Xigbar's day, and her day would come sooner rather than later.

"Why, the pleasure is all mine, Larxene," Vexen quipped back, sending a sharp look the nymph's way. "However, I am not here for you. I am here to help our beloved Xigbar get his wish. He has waited a long time after all."

 

"Your words don't work on me, Vexen," Xigbar stated, his arms at his sides as he held both guns. "But let's cut the chit-chat, shall we? That Keyblade needs to be mine." He pointed a gun at the blade in Riku's hand, though he fired a bullet to the same area, causing Riku to drop it with a grunt.
