Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You still need him to perform the stupid ceremony," Larxene pointed out as she rolled her eyes. She knew Xigbar was anxious, but he needed Riku to pass on the Keyblade to him, not just hold onto it. Keyblades were picky with their Masters, or so she heard.

"...He won't kill me," Riku grunted, his hand stinging and his ears ringing from the hit he took to the head seconds ago. "He's too desperate to do that." He glanced up in time to see Xigbar smirking at him, his gold eyes locked on Riku's aquamarine. "So what do you want me to do?"

"Oh-ho-ho! So the Keyblade wielder is finally giving in," Xigbar said, amusement and pride in his tone. He actually managed to get Riku to crumble. "About time you realized you wouldn't beat us, but what can I say? We're just that dark. Of course, a previous wielder of Darkness such as yourself should know better than anyone, shouldn't you, Riku?" He chuckled to himself and shook his head at the young man's snarl. "But hey, I'm not here to badger you. I just want that Keyblade, so hand it over. Whatever way you know how."

By the sidelines, Light found herself coming to. She silently pushed herself off her stomach, holding back a grunt. Directly in front of her, she saw Zexion, who she saw once or twice before. Riku told her about him; he was a master of illusions. Glancing over to her right, she saw only Darkness, but she knew that was a part of an illusion Zexion was creating. And Riku was trapped inside of it. She pushed herself up to her feet quickly and silently, stealth one of her attributes. As soon as she was near Zexion, she dared to summon her sword. She gripped the handle with both hands and swung it at the back of his head, only planning to knock him out. She couldn't bring herself to kill somebody who wasn't fighting back or an immediate threat.
Zexion's eyes had been closed for some time, his focus primarily on the illusion he had created before him. He was unaware of a presence behind him, though he couldn't bring himself to really know what was going on when he was suddenly knocked quite harshly in the head. A small grunt left him before he dropped his book and fell over, landing on his side in a heap.

Larxene's eyes widened when the illusion faded briefly, the nymph looking down at the body of Lightning automatically and seeing her disappear. "Zexion!" she cried in scolding, turning her head as the illusion vanished completely. They were revealed to be in a large room in Radiant Garden's abandoned castle, and Lightning had set fire to Zexion's book while he was passed out. She interfered again.
Riku was confused as to what was going on the moment he saw another Lightning not too far off. But then Zexion's name echoed in his mind, and he growled underneath his breath. Him again, he internally spat. He started to push himself to his feet so he could get out of this, but Xigbar was hot on his tail. Riku grunted when his chin was lifted by the tip of Xigbar's gun, his eyebrows furrowing. This was far from good. One wrong move, and he was dead.

Lightning's eyes widened then narrowed when she saw Riku's position. She nearly brought her hand to her face, but she only tightened her grip on her sword. Nothing can ever work in our favor, can it? she thought bitterly. Now Riku was the one whose life was at stake. Bt what was Xigbar going to do? He wouldn't kill him; he wanted something from him.
"Because you're so insistent on interfering, soldier," Xigbar began, his eyes moving from Lightning to Riku, "I'm going to have to do this a different way. Let's say you continue to meddle. Goldilocks over here gets a bullet to the throat because of you." He smirked at Riku's glare, finding enjoyment in this as he returned his gaze to Lightning. "Let me have my way, you both walk out of here alive." Once he had the Keyblade, he could do more damage to the worlds than to them at that moment; he would get his chance to ruin their lives for good.

Light shifted her gaze to Riku, staying silent. There's no other way out of this, is there? she asked him through her gaze. But maybe if Lightning distracted Xigbar, Riku could get out of that position. That could possibly work. "Let's say I continue to interfere," she said, shifting her gaze back to Xigbar. "What then? You won't kill him; you need him."
Xigbar chuckled and shook his head. "Look here, Petals," he started with a smirk. "There are hundreds of other Keybladers out there thanks to you, Romeo, and your little friends. I just happen to think you two suffered the worst out of everyone and thought I would make this trip a little more fun. But seeing as you don't really care what happens to your boyfriend over here..." He cocked his gun and set his finger on the trigger, the small motion causing Riku to stiffen. "I'll just make other arrangements."

Lightning lowered her head in silence, glaring at the floor. Well that failed miserably, she thought. She shook her head faintly, shutting her eyes as she dropped her sword. It clanged against the ground before fading away, Lightning's armor doing the same as her outfit turned back into the shirt and sweats that she had been wearing. Xigbar won.
Riku grunted slightly at the sight of Lightning giving up. "Lightning, no," he said, though Xigbar pushed the tip of his gun harder against Riku's neck, and the surface wasn't exactly smooth; its sharp point caused Riku to wince faintly, though he ground his teeth together so he wouldn't show vulnerability. What could he do to get them out of this situation?

"Fine, Xigbar, you win," Lightning said, lifting her gaze and looking up at him. "But isn't there something else that you want? Don't you want to punish me for nearly ruining everything?" She was defenseless now, already wounded and weak from everything that happened lately. He could take pleasure in hurting her, if he was stupid enough to let Riku go.

Xigbar released a small grunt in amusement, though he looked to Vexen. "Seeing as how our buddy Zexion is knocked out cold and Larxene already had her fun with you..." he started, speaking to Lightning. "Vexen, would you do the honors?"

Vexen grinned mischieviously. "Certainly," he said with excited eyes. He turned to Lightning and started to call to a spell, while he could sense Riku's panic. The boy never did like him, and his lover was about to feel the same way.

"No!" Riku cried, wincing when Xigbar poked his throat even further. "Light, run!" Just then, Vexen summoned a pillar of ice right above Lightning's position. No!

Light heard Riku's cry, and she looked above her just to see the ice pillar of ice above her head. She was frozen with indecision though. If she fled, Xigbar may have hurt Riku. But if she stood still, she could lose her life. After a moment, her decision was made. She jumped to the side but it was too late. One of her legs was pinned beneath the ice, a cry leaving her lips. Her leg was probably broken.
The cry was a noise that hurt Riku's heart, his chest aching for Lightning's safety at that moment. But...he couldn't do anything! He could hear Vexen and Xigbar chuckle at his panic and her pain, but that only infuriated him more. I have to do something... Anything. I just need to get her somewhere safe. But....what?
  • Author
"Not bad, Vexen," Larxene said with a sadistic smirk. "Any way you could turn her into a human ice sculpture?" Now they could finally have some fun with this. Even without Zexion and his allusions, they were on top once more. She should have expected as much.

Vexen chuckled evilly. "Let me see what I can do," he said in response. His green eyes located the woman trapped under the heavy ice, and he started calling to another spell. One that would be much more influential to Lightning's well-being. But not in a good way.

No! Riku wanted to cry, but he knew if he did, he would only get himself killed. Right now, he had to do something else. The Keyblade wasn't in his grasp anymore, and if he reached for it, he would get shot on the spot. Spells were out of the question, but... That's it, he realized. He listened to the sound of Vexen's spell nearly reach completion as he closed his eyes, calling to a warmth in his heart. Ixion.

Lightning looked down at the ice pillar that trapped one of her legs, her eyes widening when she saw ice slowly spreading from it and starting to coat her legs with ice. She couldn't move though, even if she wanted to. She didn't know anyway to stop the spell and her legs were frozen to the knees now. She shut her eyes, exhaling a breath because of the cold. There was nothing she could do...She was at their mercy.

Xigbar's evil laughter faltered when he caught an aqua glow from right beside him. Turning his head to look down, he noticed that he was right; Riku's body was surrounded by a cool glow, and Xigbar knew better than to stay where he was. "What the...?" he started, backing up as Riku remained completely still. What's this kid doing?

Riku felt the glow around him, since it was warm and sincere, but calm all the same. "Ixion," he said. Lightning struck around him as the summon replied to its master's call, with Ixion appearing in a bright flash of lightning. Riku looked up at him and met his dark eyes. "Go!" Ixion reared back on his feet before slamming down onto the ground, sending lightning around the area with loud clashes of thunder. Riku rose to his feet at this time, seeing that Vexen had been struck, his spell incomplete as Xigbar reared back to avoid a lightning bolt. Riku raced toward Lightning, summoning his Keyblade to his hand and shooting bursts of fire at the ice that covered her legs. He had to get them out of here.

The ice stopped spreading around Lightning's waist, the soldier's eyes now on Riku as he rushed over and shot off spells to free her. She grunted when she felt one leg free, but the other was still trapped beneath the very large pillar of ice and at least fractured. She would have summoned her sword to heal it, but her armor would come along with it, and the armor could do more damage at that moment. These are turning out to be pretty stupid powers, she nearly swore in frustration.
Riku approached the pillar of ice and placed his hands against its frigid surface, grunting as he tried to push its heavy weight off Lightning. His arms shook with the force he put behind the effort, and it slowly caved. He could hear Ixion taking on the villains for the time being, distracting them while he focused on saving Lightning from her predicament. Riku heaved a sigh when the pillar finally fell, relieving Lightning's leg. He called to a strong Cure spell as he stepped over beside her, placing his hands underneath her arms. Time to go.

Light grunted roughly when her leg snapped, though it was healed now. She set her hands on Riku's arms and grasped them as she rose to her feet, her gaze going over to the villains. "Fight or flee?" she asked, her eyes finding him. If they left, the villains could return someday. But if they stayed, there was no guarantee they'd win. In fact, it was nearly guaranteed that they would fail. This was the first moment they were actually on top.
Riku kept his hold on Lightning, turning his head to glance at the scenario. Right now, he knew that Lightning was in no shape for battle, and their enemies would use that against them. "Right now...flee," he decided. He kept one hand on Lightning as he used the other to summon his armor, his body briefly glowing as he became coated in his suit. He then called to his Keyblade and chucked it, summoning his glider. They had to go, now.

Lightning looked over to the side, eyes widening when she saw a lightning bolt shoot towards them. She shoved Riku out of the way, knowing just how badly it hurt to be struck by lightning while wearing metal armor. But she was struck instead by Larxene's attack. She muffled a cry when it struck her back, her grip on Riku's arm loosening. That burning...It was awful. But Larxene wasn't done; she was unaffected by Ixion's lightning attacks because that was her element. She was actually strengthened by it.
