A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku couldn't help but smile crookedly at the expression on Lightning's face, and the gesture, as he followed her. It wasn't like he had a choice in the first place, but Lightning seemed excited, so what did it matter? "Where are we going?" he called, slight amusement in his voice. She was awfully enthused...

"Like I'm gonna tell you," Light retorted without looking back. There was no reason to be so secretive, but this was the first fun thing that was happening for them in an extremely long time. She wanted to savor it, even if it meant she was a little more goofy than normal. As soon as she came up with this idea, she knew she had to follow through with it.

"Hmph," Riku grunted with the same crooked smile. He squeezed Lightning's hand and walked with her in silence as she led the way, though he thought he started to recognize the path after a few minutes. The ocean was closer, and if he was correct, he would hear the waves rocking against the cliffside in a few more minutes.

Light stopped in the open area at the top of the cliff, letting go of Riku's hand as she turned to face him. "You can probably guess why I brought you here," she said as a crooked smile started forming again. This was where they went cliff-diving, a long time ago. And it had been so much fun that she thought they could do it again today.

Riku couldn't help but smile, closing his eyes briefly as he shook his head in disbelief. This was one of their first "dates", or so he liked to call it. It was one of the times he and Lightning spent alone, bonding and joking around. It had been a long time since he'd done this with her last. "We've had enough thrills, don't you think?" he asked, opening his eyes to look at her. He lifted an eyebrow. They just finished with a war, something that had their hearts hammering for weeks, and she wanted to do this? Granted, this was actually fun, but still... Didn't she want to rest?

"Thrills, but not enough fun," Light said, recognizing Riku's point. Still, whether he was fully into this or not, she was going to jump off the cliff. She remembered that last time they did this had been her first time and Riku had expected to go first. But she was fearless, so she ran off without waiting for him. She was prepared to do it again today.

Riku rolled his eyes, but he lifted his arms to the back of his neck regardless. He pulled his shirt over his head to reveal his broad shoulders and chest, tossing his shirt on the grass. He pulled off his shoes next, then started working on his pants; he had some shorts on underneath, something he was now thankful for. Once those were off, he looked to Lightning before nodding to the cliff. "Ladies first," he said with a smirk.

Light finished taking off her tank top then, wearing a bathing suit underneath. It wasn't some skimpy bikini, with the top being more like a sports bra than anything else. Exposing herself more than that wouldn't have been something she was comfortable with. She grunted in response to Riku, turning and running the distance between her and the edge. After jumping, she fell gracefully before diving into the water, the coolness of it very refreshing.

Riku had jogged to the edge of the cliff to watch Lightning dive, and when he saw how clean hers was, he smiled. That's my girl, he thought. Fearless and brave--that was his Lightning. He waited for her to come up to the surface, his eyes searching the water for her.

Light reached the surface, kicking herself up easily. She took in a needed breath when she was able to breath again, the soldier shaking her head faintly just because she was happy. That was the type of thrill that she enjoyed. She kicked back a little bit, looking up at the top of the cliff as she waited for Riku.

When Riku saw Lightning, he called down to her. "How is it?" he asked. The water wasn't rough today, clear and the color of his eyes. It was hot and he was sweaty from the work he did, so he knew it had to feel nice.

"Find out for yourself, if you're not chicken," Lightning taunted in good nature, on her back as she gazed upward. She was far enough away from where Riku would land that he wouldn't crash into her when he jumped, so he could join her whenever he wanted.

Riku rolled his eyes again. "You're gonna regret that," he called down with a smile. Chicken! Yeah, right. He saw his girlfriend floating in the water as a gentle breeze blew over him, and he knew that the water would feel fantastic over his burning back. He would dunk Lightning as soon as he got down there for her little name toward him.

"Why don't you come down here and make me regret it?" Lightning taunted again, a small smirk on her lips. Riku was stalling for some reason, whether it was to let the banter continue or something else. He couldn't have been afraid since he did this more than she did in the past.

"Ha!" Riku laughed, backing up a few feet. He then sprinted forward, leaping off the edge of the cliff and soaring through the air. His dive was clean as he dove into the water, which was cool and refreshing against his skin. He resurfaced a few seconds later, shaking his wet head as he looked over at Lightning. He then smirked. She was in trouble.

"Took you a while to muster up the courage to jump, huh?" Light asked, casually floating on her back. She shut her eyes after the comment was spoken, though she couldn't hide the small smirk that was on her lips. Riku had stalled, which was surprising. She figured he would be eager to enter the water since he was working outside all day.

Riku released a small "hmph" before he silently sank into the water. He opened his eyes while underneath and swam toward Lightning's position, aware that since her eyes were closed, she wouldn't sense him coming. He appeared underneath her before he reached up and wrapped his arms around her midsection, prepared to pull her underneath with him.

Lightning's eyes shot open, though she wasn't surprised that Riku was doing something to get back at her. She was surprised that he was underneath her, though. She wondered what would happen if she simply didn't react to him. But at the same time, she wondered if she could manage to get out of this without getting pulled under. She lifted one of her hands and set it on Riku's arm, lightly running over it with her thumb to try and get him to soften up.

Riku hesitated a second when he felt the gesture, seeing Lightning's pink hair floating gently in the water. But he was going to get her back about calling him chicken, even if it was only playful taunting. He smirked underwater and then pulled his arms down, bringing Lightning with him under the surface.

Not surprised, Light thought again, holding her breath when Riku pulled her under. She would have reached down and tickled him if he hadn't been so sweaty just a minute or two ago. She'd let him have this "victory" and not fight back. Besides, she didn't mind being under water completely. It was refreshing.

Riku kept his eyes open underwater, swimming around to float in front of Lightning as his arms were still circled around her. He smirked at her before lifting a hand to brush some of her hair away that had been floating in front of her face. She was still beautiful to him, even underwater. But he wasn't surprised. She was perfect for him, in every way.

Light was floating upright now, her eyes open as Riku was in front of her and still holding onto her. She wasn't sure whether to smirk or feel shy that Riku was wiping her hair out of her face, the girl finding it sweet and sincere. So, she did both. She smirked faintly as her cheeks turned a faint pink color, her pale blue eyes locked on Riku's aqua ones.

Riku saw the faint change of color on Lightning's cheek, even underneath the surface. He chuckled lightly, bubbles leaving his mouth before he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. He held the position for a second before he backed away, winking and then kicking to the surface. He didn't necessarily need air; he just wanted to save Lightning the embarrassment from being caught blushing.

I know what that wink was for, Light thought, shaking her head faintly as she smiled in the same manner. She was blushing. Regardless, she kicked her way to the surface as well, taking in a breath as soon as she could. Hopefully Riku got revenge out of his system; both of them could get a little carried away with their competitiveness, and she didn't want it happening today. Today was for pure fun.

Riku had risen to the surface and taken in air when Lightning joined him, and he looked over to her with a smirk. He didn't say anything, though, just admiring her from where he was a few feet away. The last few days he had been so stressed; he was grateful she pulled him out here to have some fun.
