Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Real mature, Riku," Light joked from behind her bangs, referring to him dragging her under. Still, as she said this, she lightly splashed him. She didn't care about maturity; she cared about both of them being happy. And right now, that was what they were. For once, they were happy.
Riku chuckled, squinting and turning his head away at the water that nearly hit his face. "Says the woman splashing me," he retorted, turning his head back to look at the person he loved. He may have not been mature just a second ago, but he was romantic. She had to give him that.

"That's the point, dufus," Light said lovingly, a small smirk appearing on her lips again. She had spoken and performed the action to purposely be ironic. She had to do something to give herself time to will her blush away.
Riku's eyes widened in mock surprise. "Dufus, huh?" he repeated, his smirk still on his face. "You'll regret that too. C'mere!" He forced himself forward in the water, reaching out to Light. She was going under again.

"As if!" Light cried, starting to swim towards a small bank of land along the edge of the cliff. If she could make it there, then Riku couldn't dunk her. At least, not until they got back in the water. She just hoped that she could beat him to it; he was a faster swimmer than she was most of the time.
Riku managed to only grab thin air when Lightning dodged him, and he looked after her. "Hey!" he hollered. "Now you're the chicken!" He couldn't help but smile before he pursued her, aware that she was swimming toward shore. If she was planning to dive again, he would chase after her the same way. He wasn't going to let her get away with teasing him and not dealing with his revenge.

Light didn't respond, ducking underwater so that she could swim more quickly. She knew how to swim nearly as well as Riku did, since her home city of Bodhum was by the ocean. She had gotten plenty of training with swimming, whether it was for fun or for work. And because she had a head start, she could probably make it to land before Riku did.
Riku saw what Lightning was doing, realizing then that she was going to get to shore before he did. That didn't stop his pursuit, though; he kept on going, his stronger arms helping to get him across the water faster than they had in the past.

Light made it to shore first, a small laugh leaving her as she took a few steps onto the small area of dry land right by the bottom of the cliff. She made it; she beat Riku. She turned around to see Riku, breathless from the swim. She was proud that she actually was faster than him, though not by much.
Riku slowed his pace when he approached the shore, and he kept his eyes on Lightning as he stepped onto the wet sand on the ocean floor. He started out, the sun immediately beating down on his wet form. "Wipe that smile off your face," he demanded, having heard her laugh and seeing her smile now. "I'm gonna dominate you with style points when we jump again."
  • Author
"Style points, huh?" Light asked with amusement. "I can easily beat you with style. You're not the most graceful person I've seen." She stood right in front of him, lifting a finger and lightly flicking his nose in a teasing way. Her voice still sounded a little breathy, though she was calming down now that she could breathe freely.
Riku blinked at the flick, though his eyes immediately rested on Lightning again. "It's not all about grace, Light," he said. He stepped past her, placing a hand briefly on her stomach when he did. His hand then fell to his side once he started climbing the hill again. "You gotta have the strength too, and I've got plenty of that." His confident side was showing again, but it had been a while; it was due to show up again sometime.

Light hmphed, spinning around and closing the distance between her and Riku. She jumped on his back, her arms wrapping around his upper torso. "If you're so strong, then you can carry me up the hill," she said, though it was also a challenge. It was steep at some parts, but if Riku was up for the challenge, then she would remain on his back on the way up. He carried her plenty of times before, after all.
Riku's arms immediately shot back to hold Lightning's legs when she jumped on his back, the action coming out of instinct now. He glanced over his shoulder at her and smiled. "Okay, fine," he said. He would take that demand willingly. If it meant he got to hold Lightning, why not?

Light hummed, smiling genuinely as she turned her head and let her face rest in Riku's neck. She kept her arms around his torso, though the hold was more gentle now that he had a hold on her. It had been a while since they were like this, and under good circumstances. It was nice to finally have this moment.
Riku walked up the incline silently, listening to his feet hit the grass with every step. Some seagulls cried out down by the beach, but the sound was like music to his ears. This was how life was supposed to be--easygoing, peaceful, fun. Not stressful and frustrating, full of adrenaline that fueld the power in his Keyblade. He and Lightning were meant to have a life like this, something both of them enjoyed. He would make it happen, one way or another.

Lightning started planting a few small kisses on Riku's neck as he walked, her spirit lighthearted because of the peace in the air. And love. It had been so long since she and Riku had a moment that was free of stress, and that was what this moment was. She hoped to have many more moments like this in the future, moments mixed with joking, fun, happiness, and love.
Riku's lips spread into a small smile at the affection he was receiving, the young man lightly squeezing Lightning's legs as he continued up the steep hill. At some points it was difficult with her weight, but he got through it; he was thankful he did a lot of leg workouts at the time. Regardless, he managed to reach the top of the cliff, eyeing the clothes they shed earlier. They would remain where they were, since Riku and Lightning had a few tricks to pull from their arsenal on the next dive.

Light pulled her head out of Riku's neck, moving one of her hands so her thumb could lightly stroke his skin. "Well," she started, a small smile on her lips. "That should have tired you out enough to make it certain that I can win the contest." She smirked, leaning in and giving Riku a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks."
Riku released a small "hmph", turning his head to look at Lightning as he slowly started to let go of her so she could stand on her feet. "I don't tire easily," he retorted lowly. "You should know that." He wasn't as full of energy as Sora was, but he had a good amount in his system. He could still pull a few tricks.

"Well then," Light started as she stood on her own two feet behind Riku. "Maybe I should push you down the hill and force you to walk up it again." Of course, she'd never be that cruel. And that move would risk Riku's safety, so that was another reason not to do it. Nobody was going to get hurt today.
"Heh," Riku chuckled lightly, turning around to face Lightning. He lifted his hands and placed them on her arms, rubbing her skin with his thumbs gently. "After I was nice enough to carry you all the way up here? Even I know you're not that mean, Claire." He smiled slightly at her true name, loving the way it felt leaving his lips. He couldn't wait to say it again...on their wedding day, when they made their vows. It was a day he was looking forward to.

"Nah, but I could be if I wanted to," Light retorted, though she was softened up by Riku's hands on her arms. It had been so, so long since they had a moment like this. Even she, the tough, stoic soldier, wanted to melt away at the sensation of receiving another person's affection and care. It was something every human desired, even her.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, squeezing Lightning's arms gently as he only released a small chuckle again. He then leaned in, planting his lips gently on hers. Little did he know, however, that an enemy was lurking nearby, watching them from another realm and waiting for the opportune moment to appear...and that was now.

Lightning shut her eyes at the kiss, returning it without hesitation. Her hands were clasped behind her back, as they had been for the whole banter. She was hardly thinking about that, though. She was thinking about this moment, this kiss. ...Until she suddenly sensed something in the air. Something cold.
