Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas chewed his sandwich, but he wasn't even that hungry. He hadn't eaten much the past few days either, but he just couldn't find his appetite with all that was going on, at least for him. Namine still had no idea what he was going through, and he didn't want to tell her. The last time he did, it didn't go so well; he broke down in front of her, and thought he lost her to Axel's hand. He didn't want to relive that, even if one of the chances was incredibly slim.

Namine realized she was done with her cookie when she lightly bit down on her finger instead. She blinked, snapping out of her dze. She had to stay as positive as she could, right? It was hard, but this fight wasn't about her. It was about Roxas coping with the loss of somebody that he cared about. Still...she didn't know how much longer either of them could go on like this.
Roxas didn't take another bite out of his sandwich. In fact, he realized that he wasn't going to do much more eating at all. He felt kind of...sick. The eighteen year old sat up, one knee propped up as he set his sandwich down, a sigh escaping him. This was wrong...very wrong, that he kept seeing Xion. It wasn't fair to Namine.

Was something wrong with the sandwich? Namine nearly asked, though she pulled up her legs and wrapped her arms around them instead. She knew she made Roxas's favorite type of sandwich, so if he wasn't eating it, then he wasn't hungry. It was okay, even if he didn't come off as appreciative.
Roxas glanced over at Namine, opening his mouth to say something but backing out. Did he tell Namine he was still seeing Xion? If he did, how would she react? That was what he was afraid of; he didn't want to upset her. He wanted to do the opposite and make her happy.

Down the beach from Roxas and Namine, a girl with long black hair stood with her hands clasped behind her back. She had been searching for a long time. But now that she finally found her long-lost friend, she was feeling something holding her back. She couldn't just approach. She wasn't supposed to be here; how would he react to her once he recognized her?
Roxas got that feeling again, like he was being watched by a familiar pair of blue eyes. It was the feeling he got whenever he woke up; sometimes he would turn his head to scan his room and make sure he really wasn't being watched while he slept. But...there was this one time when he thought he saw her, but when he turned on the light, she was gone. It didn't make much sense, and Roxas fought the urge to look around now.

Namine looked over at Roxas, though she quickly looked away at his expression. Do you want to go home? she nearly asked him. It certainly seemed like he didn't want to be here with her. It hurt, but she recognized that to be truth.
Roxas caught the look on Namine's face, even if it was brief, but he couldn't think about that. When she had turned her head toward him, he had seen beyond her, and that was what caught his eye. He leaned back a little, looking around her. His eyes grew in their sockets because of the person he saw, and she looked just as he pictured in his dreams. Long black hair, big blue eyes... It was Xion.

Xion glanced over at Roxas out of the corner of her eye, though she felt her eyes widen when Roxas's gaze was on her. Don't freak out... she told herself, shutting her eyes briefly to compose herself. She opened them again, lifting a hand to tuck back her long black hair self-consciously. She had to just approach Roxas and say hello. Even if he didn't remember her.
Roxas closed his eyes and shook his head, leaning forward to put his hands in his hair. No...she's not real, he told himself again. She's dead... She wasn't alive anymore. Xion no longer existed; he was the one who wiped her clean of this universe.

Namine looked over to where Roxas was looking, then back at her boyfriend. ...He thinks it's Xion. Namine couldn't remember how Xion looked, but she suspected she looked a lot like Kairi. "Roxas," she said softly, glancing back over at the girl again. "Does she look like...?" It seemed like she did, even to Namine.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, much like he was in pain. And he was, on the inside; his heart ached at the sight of Xion, and when Namine spoke... "Yes," he grunted, frowning. It looked exactly like her, and that was what bothered him. He had to stop doing this; he had to stop seeing her. It was causing his heart pain.

Namine frowned, though she wasn't angry at Roxas. She rose to her feet and set a hand in his blond hair comfort him briefly before she turned to speak to the girl. She would sort this out, even if it was just getting the girl's name to prove that she wasn't Xion.
Roxas looked up at the touch, but that was when his eyes widened. "No!" he cried, reaching out and grasping Namine's hand tightly. Don't go over there, he internally begged. Namine couldn't... She couldn't go talk to her.

Namine's eyes widened at Roxas's cry, her eyes going down to him to see his panic. "It's alright..." she assured him softly, slipping her hand out of his. She started walking over towards the girl, who turned her head and looked at her when it was clear Namine was approaching her.
Roxas grunted slightly at the words, his wide eyes darting from Namine's retreating figure to the girl just down the beach. No...Namine, he thought in worry. He pushed himself to his feet, standing on the blanket Namine had brought for more comfort. But comfort was the farthest thing from his mind right now.

Namine stopped in front of the girl, wearing a polite smile."Hi," she greeted. "I'm sorry to bother you, but my friend and I both think that you look really familiar...Have we met you before?" She wouldn't bring up names unless she had to; she didn't want to come across as rude to this girl she couldn't remember meeting.

Xion wore a polite smile as well, though it faded slightly in sadness. "You don't remember me, huh?" she asked, seeing Namine's confused expression. Apparently the blonde didn't remember meeting her a few years ago.

Roxas's wide eyes remained on the two girls, looking at the one with darker hair since he couldn't see Namine's expression. If it was Xion...she looked sad. But why? Was it because of him, and what he did to her? Roxas couldn't let Namine do this; she couldn't talk to her. If anyone needed to speak with Xion, it was him. Roxas started over, his eyes retreating to their normal size as his eyebrows furrowed. He had to do this, not Namine.

"What's your name?" Namine asked after a moment of recovery. If it was really her...It couldn't have been, though. Roxas said that he killed her years ago.

"Xion," the girl said, seeing Namine's eyes widen. So, Namine knew about her, at least. And the only way she would have heard about her without remembering was Roxas. The raven-haired girl looked past Namine, eyes widening faintly at the sight of Roxas coming over. He looked scared.

Roxas's footsteps slowed as he got closer, his eyebrows furrowing a little more as he examined the girl the blonde was speaking to. "Namine...?" he said slowly, leaning slightly to the side to try and get a look at her face, even if it was impossible from where he was. His blue eyes darted to the ones of the girl who appeared so familiar to him, and since he was close, he could tell that she was familiar to him. Xion.

Xion could tell that Namine was too flustered to speak, but she was beginning to feel the same. She fought the blush rising to her cheeks, looking over at Roxas. "Hi," she started. "You probably don't remember me, but...I'm Xion." She wasn't sure how much more to say than that. There was so much more that she wasn't saying here.
Roxas blinked, eyes widening once more. He became stock still, his body frozen in place as he gazed at the familiar place. "....Xion," he said, his voice hoarse. He wasn't seeing things. She was really here?! Roxas examined the young woman before him, who was the same height as Namine and had nearly the same hair, except dark. It was...strange.

Xion felt herself blush more deeply, nodding faintly. "We...fought together, when you were in the Organization," she added. She was a member of the Organization too, the fourteenth member. Roxas couldn't have remembered that though; he lost memories of her when she passed.
"Y-yeah," Roxas said with a small nod. "Yeah, I know..." How could he forget that? He helped her, became friends with her, and then...he killed her. But, how could she be here? It was impossible. This had to be some sort of trick.
