Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas smiled at the voice he heard on the other end of the line. "Hey, baby," he said, watching a group of kids a few years younger than him walk across the square. "What're you doing?" He figured he would catch up with Namine before asking for his favor; it would be the more respectful thing to do.

Namine's eyes went to the discarded piece of paper that was crumpled up on the floor before choosing her answer. "Nothing," she said, eyeing the failed piece of art with disdain. "What about you?" She could hear a lot of noise on the other side of the line, so clearly he wasn't at home. He was out with Xion, wasn't he?
"Just hanging out with Xion at the Town Square," Roxas said, glancing back at his best friend when he mentioned her. He smiled briefly before turning around. "It's too bad you couldn't hang out with us. I'm sure you'd like her." He figured Xion and Namine would get along great; they had to have known each other in the past, right?

"Mm," Namine hummed, trying to make it sound as interested as she could. She could have hung out with her and Roxas, but she left because she felt like an intruder when Xion was around. The mere thought made tears appear in her eyes. She was terrified of losing Roxas to her, even if he just called Namine "baby" at the start of the call. It didn't reassure her too much that everything was okay, even if it should have.
When Roxas didn't get any more of a reaction out of Namine, he decided to voice his own thoughts. "Well, I just wanted to see what you were up to since I didn't get to talk to you earlier," he declared then, remembering how Namine had just disappeared after his reunion with Xion. "But, I do have a favor to ask too."

Namine shut her eyes, sad that Roxas wasn't calling just to check up on her. He wanted something, and she guessed that it had to do with Xion. "Okay, what's up?" she asked, blocking sadness from her voice. She didn't dare come across as jealous now; that was so selfish of her. She should have been thrilled Roxas had his best friend back.
"Well..." Roxas said, scratching the side of his head nervously. "Xion doesn't really have a place to stay and...I was wondering if she could stay with you?" He hated asking, but what else could he possibly do to help? "I mean, it's just for a little while. Just until she finds somewhere else."

Is this seriously happening? Namine thought in misery. Or is this some kind of sick, twisted nightmare? She knew that this was, as she said to Roxas earlier, real life. Whether this was her worst nightmare or not, she wouldn't leave a girl out on the streets. "Okay," she said into the phone. What other option did she have to say? "No, Xion can't stay with me because I'm selfish and afraid that the longer she sticks around on the Islands, the more you'll fall in love with her"? No way could she say that.
Roxas couldn't help but smile. "Thanks, Nam," he said, gratitude in his voice. "You're the best!" He turned around to Xion and gave her a thumbs up, glad to realize that Namine agreed to the situation. She really was amazing. "I'll see you in a little while. Love you."

"Love you too," Namine responded, afraid her voice sounded a little dry of emotion. "Bye." She pushed the button before Roxas could say anything else, though she doubted he noticed anything off in her voice. He was too busy enjoying time with the other girl he loved. Fighting the urge to cry, Namine picked herself up off the couch with the crumpled up artwork in her hand. She supposed she'd clean up before Roxas and Xion arrived.
Roxas hung up the phone and stuffed it back into his pocket, turning around and approaching his best friend. "She said yes," he revealed with a smile. "Wanna grab your things?" Roxas wasn't even sure where Xion had her things right now, but it didn't matter. At least she would be staying with someone he could trust.

"Okay," Xion responded with a small nod and a smile, one that looked natural because she was a good actress. She overheard parts of the conversation, the ending in particular. Roxas said he loved her...That didn't make Xion happy at all. But there was nothing she could do about that, not right now. It would change soon.
Roxas nodded before looking for the exit. He found it and jerked his head in that direction. "Let's go," he said with a faint smile, leading the way. He knew Xion would follow, simply because she didn't know her way around. He would show her to Namine's so she could get settled in.

A little while later, Xion and Roxas approached Namine's apartment. They stopped at the inn, where Xion spent the last of her munny staying last night. That wasn't the truth; she had more munny in the backpack she wore. But this was an excuse to get closer to Roxas's girlfriend and tell her that she was old news. Namine had to know that she was out of the picture by now; Xion was everything she wasn't. Brave, strong, confident...Namine didn't stand a chance.
Roxas stopped in front of the door and knocked lightly, then stuffing his hands into his pockets as he stood next to Xion. He was happy Namine agreed to this arrangement; for a second he thought she would refuse. But she was the kindhearted person he loved just by doing this, and that made him happy. Namine was truly the best.

Namine wished she hadn't heard the knock on the door, but she had been listening for it. She was dreading this so much, yet she forced herself to look as normal as she could as she stepped towards the door and opened it. Roxas and Xion stood right outside, the latter wearing a small smile. "Hey," she greeted with a weak smile of her own.
"Hey, Nam," Roxas replied instantly, smiling as he stepped forward and pecked Namine on the lips. "Thanks for letting us come over." He stepped past her as he looked back at Xion. It was more than just coming over, though; Xion was going to stay here for a little while.

"Hi, Namine," Xion greeted with a smile, seeing the blonde get done nodding to Roxas in response to his gratitude. Though she was angry at the kiss, she didn't let Roxas see that dark side of her. She would remain sweet and kind until she and Namine had some privacy.

"Hi," Namine responded with another small nod and a small smile. She was glad Roxas kissed her in front of Xion; it was reassuring. She still had plenty of concerns, but still, things were a tiny bit better now. She stepped out of the way to let the two in.

Roxas stepped past Namine and into the apartment, but that was when he held his hand out for one of Xion's bags. He wasn't going to be impolite and make her carry them herself; that wasn't who he was. His heart was good, not evil.

Xion only had her backpack, but she would let Roxas take it to make Namine be jealous. "Thanks," she said with a warm smile, taking the bag off her shoulders and handing it to Roxas. Though he would leave the room for a few moments, she wouldn't be stupid and talk to Namine bitterly yet. No way could she let Roxas see her threaten his girlfriend.
"Mm," Roxas hummed with a small nod. He swung the backpack over his shoulder as he turned toward the hall. The fortune Kairi's grandmother left her was enough for a pretty large apartment; there was even a guest bedroom, but it was hardly furnished. There was at least a bed, though, which was good. Xion would need that.

Xion and Namine both watched Roxas leave the room. But to keep things from feeling tense when Roxas came back, Xion thanked Namine for letting her stay, gushing appreciatively. The blonde gave a polite response, then politely offered Xion some dinner. However, Xion declined, saying Roxas took her out to dinner. That made the blonde break her polite streak briefly, but she put on the facade again quickly. It ticked Xion off, but she was using the same mask Namine was.
Roxas entered the guest bedroom and put Xion's bag on the bed, though he stared at it briefly. His best friend was really here. Even if she was just in the next room, it was still hard for him to grasp. Roxas smiled to himself and messed up his hair, leaving the room and starting back down the hall to return to his two favorite girls.

Namine blinked when her phone vibrated, though this was just a text message. "Excuse me," she said politely to Xion, pulling the phone out of her pocket. It was a text from Kairi, just asking Namine if she left something sitting on the television. Turning her head, Namine saw that Kairi had indeed left the movie she meant to take to Sora's on their TV. Relieved for a distraction, she texted her sister back to give her an answer.
Roxas blinked when he saw Namine on the phone, texting away as Xion stood nearby. He glanced from one girl to the other, his eyes lingering on his girlfriend. "Kairi?" he asked softly, lifting an eyebrow. Only Kairi would text at this time of night, even if it wasn't too late. Riku was too busy with Lightning the past few days to text anyone or talk. It had to be the redhead.
