Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Yeah," Namine confirmed, slipping the phone back into her pocket when the message was sent. "She discovered she forgot something here." That was unlike Kairi, but she was distracted with wedding stuff lately. So, it was okay for her to get a little forgetful with some other non-important stuff.
"Does she need it?" Roxas asked, eyebrows furrowing. "I can run it back home." It was where he was going anyway. Sora and Kairi had a date night tonight, so he wasn't going to interfere. But he was going to go home regardless; he would let Namine and Xion have some bonding time while he did. He was beat after everything that happened.

Namine blinked. "Oh, I hadn't thought of that," she said. She turned around and took a few steps towards the TV, grabbing the chick-flick that Kairi forgot. Apparently it was her night to pick the movie. "May as well, since you're heading there anyway," she stated, walking back to where Roxas and Xion were standing. Were they closer than before? The sight nearly made Namine frown, but she was in more control of her expression than to let it slip now.
"Exactly what I was thinking," Roxas chimed with a warm smile. Great minds, he thought, gazing at the girl he loved. The blonde one. His smile nearly faltered at that, but he caught it before it was noticeable by either girl. He held his hand out for the movie and accepted it from Namine. He would take it back to Sora and Kairi, that way Sora wouldn't whine about how they didn't get to watch a movie. Then again, he would still whine, since it was a chick-flick.

"Are you heading home right away?" Namine asked her boyfriend, clasping her hands behind her back. She hoped yes, but at the same time, she didn't. She feared that it would be awkward no matter what. She just didn't know how to act around Xion when she felt so threatened by her. Xion didn't act like she felt the same, though.
Roxas shrugged slightly. "I guess, since I've been on an emotional rollercoaster the past few days," he admitted, a sheepish smile on his lips as he glanced at Xion and then back at Namine. "I'm beat." He could really use the rest, and he figured now that he knew Xion was okay, he could sleep in peace.

Xion frowned slightly, looking over at Roxas. "When will you be around again?" she asked, setting a hand on his arm. She hoped soon; she needed to spend time with him in order for him to realize that she was the one that he was meant to be with and not Namine. Hopefully the task wouldn't be too hard.
Roxas turned his head to look at Xion, liking but at the same time hating the feeling he got when she touched him. "Tomorrow," he said with a small nod. He hadn't had any plans for the next day, since a lot of the things he did were decided spontaneously. "Don't expect me before noon, though." He then grinned, showing his sense of humor. He was always one to sleep in when he didn't have to work; tomorrow was everyone's day off from reconstruction of the building the villains destroyed.

"Lazy as ever, huh?" Xion teased, her tone a bit flirtatious. At least, it was flirtatious enough that Namine winced before regaining her composure. "Should have expected that hadn't changed." Roxas slept for a while when they were in the Organization, from what she remembered. She had been worried about him.
Roxas chuckled, his grin turning sheepish again as he scratched the side of his head with the hand that Xion wasn't touching. "Eh, well..." he tried, though he couldn't come up with a good excuse. He just liked to sleep in. There was nothing more to it.

"I'll be gone whenever you come in, then," Namine said, ignoring her thoughts. Just now would have been a good chance for Roxas to move that arm, but he didn't. That has to mean something. "I'm working tomorrow morning and afternoon." She was almost grateful that she would be working a long shift tomorrow; it would distract her for a while and keep her away from Xion, who she got a bad vibe from.
Roxas's smile disappeared when he looked back at Namine, his hand falling to his side as he took a step toward her. "Oh," he said softly. "Can I at least bring you lunch?" She got a break during that long shift, and they only went to lunch together a few times when the chance arose. They could do it tomorrow, right?

Namine smiled softly, liking that idea. She also liked the fact that Xion's hand was now off of Roxas's arm. "Okay," she said with a small nod. Roxas knew when her break was when she worked that shift, so she supposed that she would see him then. She wondered what Xion would do then, but she didn't ask because she wanted to spend time with Roxas for a while.
Roxas's smile returned, though it was softer. "Alright," he said with a nod. "We'll do that then." He would bring her favorite food to her tomorrow, to make up for skipping out today with the whole picnic thing Namine did. A good boyfriend didn't do that.

Namine's small smile remained, and her next action came naturally since Roxas was right by her. She gave him a kiss on the cheek, grateful that he was still concerned about her and Xion wasn't all that was on his mind. She knew Xion was a big deal to Roxas, but still...This made her feel a little better for now.
Roxas lifted a hand to Namine's head of blonde hair, cupping it as he smiled at her. He did love her, he really did. That was why his thought earlier hurt his heart--"the blonde one" was what the voice inside his head told him. At the reminder, he turned his head to look at Xion. His smile remained as his gaze then darted from her to Namine. "I'll let you two get to know one another," he declared, remembering how Namine had no recollection of who Xion was. "I'll get this movie to Kairi."

"Okay," Xion said with a small nod, seeing Namine nod as well. "See you tomorrow." Xion would find some way to see him as soon as she could, and keep Namine away. She and the blonde would be having a serious talk tonight about how the blonde was to interact with Roxas from now on. The way she saw it, Roxas already belonged to Xion. He just didn't know it yet.
Roxas nodded to Xion before he turned his attention to Namine. He moved his hand to her chin and tilted her face up, planting a gentle kiss to her lips before he pulled away. "Love you," he mouthed silently, a small smile on his face as he gazed at her. He hoped she would always know that.

Namine smiled weakly, again appreciating the affection. "You too," she mouthed, unaware that Xion temporarily lost her cool behind Roxas before putting on a mask again. She loved Roxas very much, even if he technically hadn't been a good boyfriend lately. Skipping picnics, thinking about another girl all the time...but it was all understandable. She could excuse all that behavior.
Roxas's smile remained as he lowered his hand from Namine's chin and stepped away from her. Just as he was about to pass Xion, he put the same hand on her shoulder, nodding to her. He would see her soon too. He squeezed his best friend's shoulder before making his way toward the door, opening and closing it behind him.

Xion and Namine, once again, both watched Roxas leave the scene. This time, he was gone for the night. That gave Xion plenty of time to put Namine in her place. She smiled faintly, though this smile was different than the forced one that she wore whenever she was in front of Namine. This one was much darker.
Roxas couldn't help but smile as he made his way down the apartment hall and to the elevator. He pressed the button and waited for the elevator, looking back down the hall to where Namine lived and Xion was now staying. He just couldn't believe it. Two of his favorite people, in his life at the same time and getting acquainted. It would be great once they were more comfortable with each other. They could be great friends.

The next day

Namine returned home after a day that couldn't have gone more wrong. Last night, Xion confronted her and put things very bluntly: she and Roxas were meant to be together, and Xion would do whatever she had to in order to be Roxas's girl. There wasn't much Namine could say to Xion's threats; she had been stunned by them. She didn't tell anyone what happened, though. Instead, she left breakfast in the fridge for Xion anyway and went to work. At lunch, she waited fifty minutes for Roxas to come, but he didn't. He didn't even text. She tried to run to a fast-food place in the last ten minutes to get a quick meal, but her boss asked her to end lunch early and get back to work because they were having trouble with some of the kids. So, Namine worked until five o' clock running on what she had at breakfast time. It was a rough day for more reasons than all those, though. There were so many kids that were misbehaving that Namine nearly burst into tears from frustration. She was close to that point again as she got home half an hour after her shift ended, opening the door of her apartment and walking in.

Roxas sat at the kitchen table, staring at his interlocked fingers as they rested on the table's surface. When he heard the door open, he pushed himself up from his seat. It had to be Namine; she just got off work. He felt awful for missing lunch today, having realized he was late a half hour after her break ended. He had just been so busy with Xion...

Namine stopped by the door once it was shut, shrugging off her coat and putting it on the hanger. Kairi must have been out. Xion was probably with Roxas, wherever he was. But why was the light on? Xion probably left it on whenever she left to tick me off, she thought angrily. The girl was already doing everything in her power to walk all over Namine. The blonde chased her anger away, exhaling a breath as she turned and started towards the kitchen. She was just tired and hungry. Now wasn't a good time to add "emotional" to the list.
