Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine didn't know that Xion sensed something she didn't: Roxas's presence on this world. The raven-haired girl suddenly summoned Heartless to the area, the shadows surrounding her and Namine. Heartless! she gasped, grasping her staff with both hands. She noticed Xion focus her attention on them, so she didn't think she summoned them to set up the situation so it didn't look like they were fighting. Namine was forced to focus on the new enemies as well, a cry leaving her lips as she sent a lightning spell down on some of the shadows. She couldn't let anyone take her down, Heartless or Xion.
Roxas's footing faltered upon hearing some spells being cast, as well as some outcries. Eyebrows furrowing, he ran forward, up the hill that led to the station. Upon reaching the peak, he saw two girls--Xion...and Namine. But they were surrounded by Heartless! Roxas summoned both of his Keyblades to him, throwing them across the area to strike the Heartless sneaking up behind Namine and the one about to pounce on Xion. Neither of them was going to get hurt today.

Namine was surprised when Roxas's Keyblade came whirling in, but then it made sense. That was why Xion stopped attacking her. The blonde cast another spell, fire destroying one of the few Heartless that remained. The fight was over after that, the rest of the Heartless disappearing from the area. She exhaled a heavy breath, glancing over at Xion. She appeared a lot more winded than before as well, and her stance said that she was wounded. Though Namine was pretty beat up from Xion attacking her, she chose not to show it, acting strong.
Roxas stood where he was, his wide eyes turning cold as he looked at each girl in anger. He was upset the Heartless showed up, but he was also mad that he found Namine; she was in trouble for running off. Roxas caught his Keyblades with ease, one at a time, before glancing at each girl. What happened?

Namine blinked at Roxas's anger, surprised by it. Why did he look so angry at her? She did leave without telling him, but she left him a note saying where she was going and why. She turned her head to look at Xion, who was holding her side as she summoned her Keyblade away.

"Heartless ambush," Xion mumbled, grunting. Roxas had to believe that they were ambushed by Heartless and hurt this badly, not that they were attacking each other. Or rather, Xion was attacking and Namine was defending and every once in a while reflecting attacks to get Xion to back off. She had a new idea now, one that would work well in her favor.

Roxas's eyebrows furrowed. "How many did you take on?" he asked, bewildered. If Xion was hurt that badly...it had to be tons. She wasn't one to get hurt easily. As for Namine, he knew she could handle her own. She looked fine, which was good.

"A lot," Xion breathed. She sank down to her knees while Namine stood where she was, bewildered by the act. Namine knew Xion couldn't be hurt that badly; in fact, Namine was a lot worse off than she was. But she was going to make Roxas believe that it was the other way around. She put on her charade well, letting the wounds she had overwhelm her as she lost consciousness.
"Xion," Roxas grunted, summoning his Keyblades away as he sprinted to his friend's side. He slid on the bricks to stop beside her, lifting her off the hard ground to support her upper body in his arms. He could see she had a deep gash in her side, supposing a Heartless did it. He frowned, looking up at Namine not too far away. "...Can you heal her, please?" They weren't exactly on speaking terms, but he needed the favor.

Namine pieced together things quickly, intelligent and not as naive as she used to be. She's faking it, isn't she? Trying to get Roxas's pity... This was a trick that Namine had to play along with, though. Roxas would be furious if she refused to heal her. The blonde nodded faintly, grasping her staff with both hands in front of her as she shut her eyes. Using the last of her magic, she healed Xion's wounds.
"Thank you," Roxas said faintly, looking down at his best friend. Her long hair draped over his arm, tickling his skin faintly as he gazed at her. He shifted his hold on her in silence, lifting her arm and looping it around his neck as he then supported her weight behind her back and under her knees. Roxas grunted as he rose to his feet, looking to Namine. "I'm gonna take her back to the Islands. Wait for me here."

Namine bit her lip, nodding faintly to Roxas. She didn't know what to say, so she didn't bother saying anything at all. She would do as he said, though, and hopefully he'd return as quickly as he could. Hopefully Xion wouldn't wake up and distract him from coming back to her this time.
Roxas held Xion and used his heart to call to his Keyblade Glider so it appeared just in front of him. He hopped aboard and casted one last look Namine's way before he summoned a portal a few yards ahead. He soared into it, heading for the Islands.

Namine summoned her staff away, watching Roxas leave. Again, she was alone because of Xion's conniving. She exhaled a soft breath and walked over to the building. She sat down against it, looking down to see that her arm was bleeding. Great, she thought, shutting her eyes. Now that the adrenaline was fading, the pain was more intense.
Riku had been with Lightning on the beach when he saw Roxas come in, with Xion unconscious in his arms. He knew the two of them were off looking for Namine, but Roxas explained that Namine was fine, just waiting in Twilight Town. Roxas asked Riku to go get her, since he was more concerned for Xion's well being. The young man didn't argue, happy to go get the girl who was like a little sister to him. Riku excused himself from Lightning, promising he'd be back soon, and soared off. In a matter of minutes, he was in Twilight Town, heading for the Station like instructed.

Namine remained where she was, though she knew she'd be waiting for a while longer. It wasn't too long ago that Roxas left with Xion; he'd be with her for a little to make sure she was okay. The blonde grasped her wounded arm, the bleeding less than before. She was awfully light-headed because of the blood loss, unfortunately.
Riku steered his glider toward the Station, and as he got closer, he saw the blonde he was here for. He lowered his glider close to the ground and climbed off, swinging his leg over as he allowed his armor to disappear. "Namine?" he called, his eyes narrowing when he thought he saw red trickling down her arm. Was that...blood?

Namine lifted her head, a hand still on her bad arm. She saw Riku in her vision, which was surprising. "Riku?" she asked weakly, surprised to see him. What was he doing here? He didn't seem too surprised to see her.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed when he realized that it was indeed blood, and he jogged over to Namine's position, kneeling down in front of her and examining the wound. "...What happened?" he asked. Roxas just told him to go get her; he didn't explain any details.

"Heartless," Namine said, slowly lowering her hand from her wounded arm. She saw concern in Riku's gaze, as well as suspicion. She was only telling the partial truth, but hopefully he wouldn't realize that. In her mind, she used the word "heartless" to describe Xion. She was heartless.
Riku glanced up at Namine as he dug into his pocket for a hi-potion. He tossed it over the blonde's head, and as it shattered over her form, he spoke. "Must have been a lot of them in order for you to get a wound like that," he said, motioning to the injury that was slowly disappearing. Namine fought off warriors in the battle against Xehanort; she could have handled Heartless.

"Y-yeah," Namine stuttered, looking down at her arm that healed. She was such a terrible liar, especially with Riku for the pure reason that he could see through even the best liars. He was going to see through her for sure and figure out that it wasn't Heartless who caused all these wounds...
Riku tilted his head to the side slightly, gazing at Namine for a moment before he rose to his feet. The station would have a bathroom for her to use where she could clean the blood off her wound. "Why don't you get cleaned up?" he suggested. "Then you can tell me the truth." Namine was one of the worst liars; she was worse than Kairi, and that was bad.
  • Author
Namine found herself blushing in embarrassment as soon as Riku caught onto her. She nodded faintly and pushed herself to her feet, going to the restroom to get cleaned up like Riku told her to. What was she going to do? She couldn't tell him that Xion was evil and trying to kill her...who would even believe that? Not Riku.
Riku had followed Namine inside the station, and he waited outside against the wall, his arms over his chest as he stared at the bulletin board not too far away. He remembered running into Roxas here years ago, trying to get him to go back to Sora. Xion had to do the same way, and he instigated that decision as well. How she was back, Riku would never know. But Roxas was happy about it; Riku remembered how close the blond and Xion were in the past.

Namine agonized what she was going to do as she cleaned the blood off of her arm. But she had no conclusions as to what she could tell Riku--none at all. She straightened her clothes a little bit before stepping out, nervously gazing at Riku. He was going to drag the truth out of her no matter what, wasn't he?
