Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku turned his head when he sensed Namine's presence, his eyes falling on her blonde hair. "...So?" he prodded, smirking slightly. What was the truth and why wouldn't she tell him in the first place? He was quite curious as to what could have caused this.

Namine didn't smile at Riku's smirk. It actually made tears appear in her eyes. "I can't tell you," she said, moist eyes finding Riku's aqua ones. "Please don't make me tell you..." Xion would treat her that much worse if she found out that Namine tattled on her. The girl had already proven that she would torture Namine, physically or emotionally.
Riku's smirk disappeared immediately, his eyes widening slightly in shock. "What?" he grunted. What did Namine mean? The young man pushed himself from the wall, standing up straight and taking a step closer to the blonde. She seemed...scared. But why?

Namine shook her head faintly, shutting her eyes so her tears wouldn't be seen or escape her eyes. She couldn't tell Riku what he wanted to know. It was better for him to believe that Xion was a good person than for him to know the truth. It was best for him to live in ignorance.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed as he stepped in front of Namine, putting his hand on her shoulder as he tilted his head. "Namine, what's going on?" he demanded, voice stern. If it was severe enough to make her cry--and Namine wasn't one to cry often--it was worse than just Heartless. Was it Roxas?

Namine found herself shaking her head again, biting down on her trembling lip before she spoke. "Please, Riku..." she said softly. She couldn't tell him what was going on. He sounded so stern now, though. She knew that tone: he wasn't going to let this drop, no matter what she said to him.
Riku couldn't believe this. What happened that was making Namine so emotional? The young man pulled Namine to his chest, his arm wrapping around her upper back as his other hand rested on her blonde head. "If it's Roxas, I'll kill him," he muttered, sure the girl could hear him. Roxas knew how protective Riku was of Namine. If he hurt her, he was going to get the same treatment.

Namine's eyes widened at Riku's words. She felt herself get choked up, just because he cared so much about her. "It's not," she said, shutting her eyes and lightly hugging him back just so that he wouldn't let go of her. It had been a long time since she spent time with Riku, a person she considered to be her brother. She trusted him, but...
Riku looked down at Namine, eyes hard. "Is it someone, or something?" he asked softly, the train station completely empty save for them. He continued to hold her, feeling how she held him back, almost desperately. What was wrong?

Namine shook her head faintly, still stubborn in her belief that she couldn't say anything. "No, Riku, I can't tell..." He was being gentle one minute, then firm the next. He wasn't sure what method to use to get the truth from her. But he would figure it out. Very soon.
"So it is Roxas," Riku figured. Of course Namine would protect him; Riku nearly beat him up in the past. "He left you here. Is that why you're upset?" If that was the case, Riku would go give him his two cents. True, Roxas's hands were full, but he could have brought Namine with him too. Maybe.

"No, Riku, it's not Roxas!" Namine cried loudly, letting go of Riku and looking up at him. She wasn't lying this time; it wasn't Roxas who had her so upset. It was Xion that she was so upset with. Xion attacked her, was trying to replace her. She was already taking her clothes and all that...Xion was trying to replace Namine.
Riku blinked at the cry, releasing Namine as he looked down at her. "Namine, calm down," he requested, more concerned now than he was before. What had her so upset? It was clearly worse than he thought, and he wanted to know what it was. Now.
  • Author
"I can't tell you," Namine declared firmly, lifting her hands and wiping at the tears that dropped from her eyes as she looked up at Riku in determination. Riku wouldn't make her tell him that Xion attacked her and wanted to kill her. Xion was Riku's friend too...He probably wouldn't even believe her.
"Why not?" Riku asked, remaining calm despite Namine's firm tone. This was actually making him nervous on the inside. Something was very, very wrong here, and he didn't like it one bit. Namine was one of the kindest people he knew, and if she was crying, he wanted to figure out why and fix it.
  • Author
"Because," Namine said simply, still being firm. Riku wasn't losing his temper with her, though she almost wished he would. It would be easier to stand up to him that way, or so she figured. It was hard to remain firm when he was still so kind and concerned.
Riku frowned, looking away after a minute and shaking his head. I'm gonna have to talk to Roxas, he figured once again. Roxas was here, so he had to know what was wrong, or so Riku thought. He was going to find out what caused Namine's emotions to spiral; he was going to be her big brother in this situation.
  • Author
Namine could tell what Riku was thinking quite easily. "Don't you go to Roxas," she said, eyes narrowed in seriousness. "He's not the one making me upset. Really." Riku couldn't go to him, because then, Namine would have to tell Roxas the truth. That was the last thing that she wanted to do.
Riku turned his hard eyes to Namine then, meeting her stubborn gaze. "...I'm not letting this drop," he admitted lowly, being just as stern as she was. He could be hardheaded too, and she knew that. He turned away then, keeping to his word to bring her home.
  • Author
"Riku!" Namine scolded, taking a quick step forward and grasping her friend's arm. "You can't tell!" He didn't have anything to tell except that she was upset. And that he could tell that she wasn't attacked by Heartless. This was very bad no matter what actions she chose to take.
Riku glanced over at Namine, turning around slightly as she had a hold on him. "Tell what?" he retorted, and with a little attitude. "You haven't given me anything to tell." That was the truth, because Namine wasn't sharing any details. Didn't she trust him?
  • Author
"No, but if you tell Roxas, he'll force me to tell what's up. And he can't know that..." That Xion tried to kill me. Namine saw how happy Roxas was with Xion being alive and in his life again. If Riku went to Roxas, she was in big trouble.
Riku lifted an eyebrow when Namine trailed off. I'm waiting, he wanted to say, but he was sure his expression said that for him. Namine was leaving out some major details, and he only discovered a few on his own: she had been severely wounded, for one, and the Heartless hadn't caused it. She was too emotional for just a Heartless attack.

"Xion attacked me, alright!?" Namine finally cried, tightening her grip on Riku's arm. Xion attacked me. And she couldn't have Roxas knowing about that; he loved her...Maybe more than he loved Namine, judigng how he didn't even notice Namine was wounded.
Riku stiffened at the outcry, his eyes narrowing as he was at a loss for words. "...What?" he grunted, that being all he could manage. Xion did what? He didn't understand how that could have happened, or why it would happen. But...he knew Namine wasn't making this up. She wouldn't.
