Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas didn't respond, again. Xion's not my life, he wanted to say, but he couldn't find his voice. So what if Xion was here? He wanted to spend time with Namine too, and she was just walking away and leaving again. He knew he messed up, but this wasn't a solution to anything. At least in his eyes. Namine couldn't run away from him...

Namine remained silent now, looking at her watch. Still have a little more time, she realized, gazing at the ocean. But she would have to head back to work soon, just because she couldn't be late. She was on the good side of her bosses, and she wanted it to stay that way.
"Are you leaving soon?" Roxas finally managed to ask, having found his voice. If she left within the next few days, he wouldn't exactly be thrilled. He wanted some time to spend with her at least, and she worked the next few days. It wouldn't be fair if she left without any quality time being spent between them.

"I don't know," Namine responded again, voice soft. Probably sooner rather than later. She couldn't stand to be around Xion any longer. She truly was trying to replace Namine, always wearing her clothes, trying to get Roxas to take her to places that were special to Namine and Roxas. It was incredibly heartless of her, but Namine expected as much now that she knew Xion wanted her dead.
"Mm," Roxas hummed again, not knowing what else to say. He wasn't happy Namine was leaving, and she surely knew that. But...at least she would be getting stronger. He knew Namine wanted that for a while. He kind of wanted to be the one to help her, though, not Riku or King Mickey.

Namine could tell Roxas wasn't happy, but she didn't want him to try and get her to stay. He would figure out why she didn't want to. "I should get back to work," she said quietly, picking up the sketchpad and the flower Roxas brought her before rising to her feet. It was a few minute's walk back, after all.
Roxas turned his head, looking up at Namine as she stood. "...Do you want me to walk you back?" he asked gently. If she said no, he would just stay here. Actually, that sounded like a better idea anyway. He needed to take what she just said in for a little while, since he still could.

"Whatever you want to do is fine," Namine said quietly, looking down at Roxas. He looked comfortable where he was, though, so she wondered if he would walk with her or not. It didn't really matter, since they weren't speaking much anyway. They were still in a relationship, still loved each other, but...But there was somebody else he loved too. And she was pursuing him big time.
Roxas looked at Namine for a minute before he gazed at the sea. "...I'll stay here," he said softly. She could make it back on her own okay, since the daycare center wasn't too far from here. Roxas would just sit here, alone, and think about everything that had happened lately. He needed to, after yesterday.

Namine nodded faintly. "Okay," she said, voice still soft. "Thanks for lunch, Roxas." She knelt down a little, giving Roxas a kiss on his messy hair before she stood upright again. Despite how they didn't talk much, she appreciated that he came to find her. She was still hurt and scared over how much he loved Xion, but...But she wouldn't let him know that.
"You're welcome," Roxas replied with the smallest of smiles. It was the least he could do, after all he had caused lately. He wasn't sure he should give Namine her space, though, since she seemed more...distant than normal. He couldn't help but wonder if something else was wrong.

Namine smiled weakly, lifting her free hand and waving faintly before she turned and started on her way. She was in a little bit of a better mood than she was earlier, so hopefully the afternoon shift would be easier than the morning one. It was also important she had some energy left, because she was sure that training with Riku wasn't going to be easy in any aspect.
Roxas turned his head, following Namine with his eyes as she walked off. He remembered how he couldn't sleep last night, thinking about her. He was really too hard on her, and he tried apologizing. He just hoped it was enough for her to forgive him.

The next day

Namine knew that wherever she could find Lightning, she could find Riku. The latter was who she was really looking for, near tears and needing her big brother. She had woken up in the middle of the night with a fright; Xion was standing over her with a pair of scissors in her hand. But that wasn't all; she held up her other hand and showed that she held much of Namine's trademark blonde hair. "This is a reminder of who you're dealing with," Xion had declared before leaving the room. Namine went to the mirror and saw Xion hadn't even cut all her long hair; just part of it. That left Namine with the painful task of making her hair look decent again. She did do an excellent job with it, but now it was just above her shoulders. She never had hair this short before, and she hated that it was because of Xion. Gulping, she rang the doorbell of Lightning's house and expected Riku to let her in.

Riku turned his head when he heard the doorbell, in the middle of fixing breakfast for him and Lightning. She was in the shower, so he took it upon himself to get the door. Riku approached it and opened it, surprised at who he saw. "Namine?" he said in question, but then his eyes took in her hair. It was...short, and she looked unhappy. He knew instantly what the problem was. Xion.

"Xion cut part of it off last night," Namine said dryly, hands curling into fists by her sides. She was so...angry. She wasn't the type of person who got angry often; most of the time she was just sad when something bad happened. But she was really angry that Xion did this to her; it was completely unnecessary. What Namine feared most, though, was how Roxas would react...
Riku closed his eyes, shaking his head as he stepped over. "Come on in," he said softly, frustrated. What was the point of Xion doing that? It was cruel, he knew that much, and completely immature. The Xion he used to know wouldn't have done that. Ever.

Namine stepped inside, her hands remaining curled. "I can't take this anymore, Riku," she said, frustration evident in her tone. "I need to go back to Disney Castle, today." If she stuck around, Xion could do much worse than she already was. If she wanted, she could have killed Namine in the night. But that was just it; she had to make it look like she didn't do it. That was why she would do it somewhere Heartless could be.
Riku shut the door, turning around to look at Namine. "I just don't get it," he said, eyebrows furrowing. "What was the point of cutting your hair off?" He would have complimented Namine, because it actually didn't look that bad, but he doubted she wanted to hear that right now. Xion was out of line with her motives.

"She said that it was to remind me who I was dealing with," Namine responded with furrowed eyebrows, folding her arms over her chest as she looked down at the ground. "I think it was her way of showing her dominance." The words were bitter today, not sad. Xion made something in Namine snap, and now the blonde didn't feel like playing nice. She wanted to stand up to this bully. But she realized that she couldn't, so running away was her next best choice.
"So what are you going to do?" Riku asked, tilting his head slightly. Namine wanted to go back to Disney Castle, right? Would she do it to just leave, or would she train herself so she could stand up to Xion? Riku personally hoped it was the latter, though he wasn't sure how that would go. Roxas wouldn't be okay with it.

"I want to go to Disney Castle to get more training from King Mickey...and stay away from Xion for a while. I can't stoop down to her level and play her game," Namine said as she shook her head faintly. "Roxas is still clueless." He didn't know what a bully Xion was. Maybe he needed to find out the truth, but not like this. If Namine was going to tell him, she would have proof.
Riku nodded, in both agreement and understanding. "Roxas is usually the clueless one when it comes to Xion," he noted dully. He remembered how lost Roxas was in the past when Xion was straying toward a different path. It almost made Riku feel bad for the guy. It didn't stop him from doing the right thing, though, and that was exactly what Namine had to do.

"I'll need to see him before I go, though," Namine said, softening up at that realization. "He'd be furious if I just left him a note again..." So, he would see her with short hair. And she would have to explain what the deal was. Or rather, she would need to make something up. This was yet another secret she had to keep from him.
"Probably," Riku agreed, crossing his arms. "You want to leave today? I'll take you." Namine, in his opinion, needed to get away from Xion as soon as possible. The raven-haired girl wasn't using any light strategies to get under Namine's skin, so it was time Namine took the chance and left. Xion would be happier, until Namine came back stronger and more likely to defend herself.
