Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine nodded faintly, lifting her gaze to Riku. "Tonight would be best," she said softly. "Lightning said she'd let me try her gunblade today..." They were supposed to train a little bit, and Namine was going to try using a sword instead of a staff. It was a strange sword at that, but it would still be good for her to try. That training would come after seeing Roxas, though.
Riku nodded once again, his eyes darting toward the hall where Lightning was, probably in the bedroom. "We'll leave after that, then," he said softly. He knew how important training was to Namine, especially now. That was why he supported her decision to go to Disney Castle. King Mickey would make sure she didn't get into trouble, and nobody that was trouble would bother her.

Namine nodded faintly as well. "Thanks, Riku," she said quietly. "I'll see you guys in a few hours, okay? I need to track down Roxas." She couldn't procrastinate with this. He needed to know that she was going to leave to go to Disney Castle tonight, and she may not have been coming back for a little while.
Riku turned to open the door for Namine, looking back at her once he had it open. "Good luck," he said with a weak smile. Roxas wouldn't react well to the news, but it needed to be done. Namine couldn't take this torture anymore; she had a right to leave, even if Roxas couldn't understand that.

Namine nodded faintly once more, and though she tried to force a small smile, it wasn't genuine at all. "Thanks," she said faintly. "See ya." She walked out the door, unsure of where Roxas would be at this hour except at his home, still asleep. She made her way over there and was let in by Sora, who was just on his way out. He informed her that Roxas was still asleep. So, Namine was forced to the place where she'd need to wake him up and tell him bad news. She hesitated as she stood by his bed, biting her lip in nervousness.
Roxas had his arms tucked under his pillow, his face turned to the side as he slept. The sheet covered him up to his waist, allowing him to be comfortable instead of too hot or too cold. He was in such a deep sleep he didn't even sense Namine's presence, but he wouldn't have sensed anyone nearby. He hadn't gotten to sleep until really late last night, having been up all night thinking about Namine and why she was leaving. It didn't sit well with him.

Namine stepped closer to the bed, kneeling down and putting a hand on Roxas's shoulder as she gently shook him. "Hey, Roxas," she said lightly, trying to wake him up with as much ease as possible. They needed to talk, right now. It could be their only chance to before she left the Islands.
"Mm," Roxas groaned at the shake, eyebrows furrowing. He figured it was Sora being rude and waking him up too early, the blond turning his head in the other direction. "Not now, Sora." He just wanted a few more hours of sleep. Then he could get up and do whatever Sora was trying to get him to do now.

"Don't you think my voice is a little high to be Sora's?" Namine asked with an arched brow, keeping her hand where it was. She found it a little amusing how Roxas made such a big mistake, but now wasn't really the time to be laughing. She lifted her free hand to her short hair, nervous about that. He wouldn't take the short hair well either, would he?
Roxas opened his eyes slightly, the sunlight pouring onto his face from the window. The sentence alone proved that it wasn't Sora, but the voice was right; it wasn't Sora's deeper tone. Roxas grunted again and turned his head back the direction it had been before, his sleepy blue eyes finding the face he loved. "Nam?" he murmured. What was she doing here?

Namine smiled weakly, lowering her hand from her hair. "Hey Sleepy," she greeted gently, taking her hand back. Roxas was adorable when he was groggy. It had been so long since she saw him like this, since they didn't have sleep overs lately. They hadn't done anything together, really. Not since Xion came around.
Roxas couldn't help but smile a little, moving one of his hands out from under his pillow to rub at his eyes. Once that was done, he opened them fully, suppressing a yawn as he took in Namine's appearance. He eyed her hair, but his smile still remained. "You got your hair done?" he asked softly. "It looks good."
  • Author
"Thanks," Namine said with the same faint smile. She did like the way she looked with hair like this, but she couldn't enjoy it truly because of how it came about. Xion...was a monster. There was no other way to describe her. All that she did since arriving was torture Namine. And she did it very, very well.
"Mm," Roxas hummed, turning over and sitting up to stretch. "What're you doing here?" He hadn't expected Namine this early, and he really didn't expect her at all. He figured she would ignore him for the next few days, like she had been doing lately.

"I need to talk to you about something," Namine said softly, lifting a hand and tucking back some of her blonde hair. At least he took the news of her hair well; that was one thing that she had going for her. That could have just been because of the grogginess, though. This news...it would have him wide awake soon.
Roxas lifted his sheet-covered knees, resting his arms on them as he looked over at Namine. "Okay, what's up?" he asked softly, still a little groggy. He would try to focus as best he could, but he couldn't make any promises. He was sleep-deprived.

Namine glanced away, clasping her hands in front of her. "I'm going to Disney Castle," she declared quietly. "Later today." Riku was going to take her there, thank goodness. She was so glad he knew the truth now; he was a very good friend, and he had been watching out for her the past few days since he discovered the truth.
Roxas blinked, eyes widening. "What?" he asked hoarsely. But why? Didn't you say you weren't going that soon? He didn't understand... He thought he at least had a little while longer to be with Namine before she took off to get more training. How long would she even be gone?
  • Author
"It's just something I have to do," Namine reasoned softly without looking up. "I can't get the other day out of my mind..." Roxas would think she was referring to a Heartless ambush, but she was truly referring to Xion attacking her. She was speaking the truth in that way. She couldn't get that fight out of her mind, or everything that happened with Xion in general.
Roxas shook his head, swinging his legs around so Namine was between them. He reached to put his hands on her arms. "I know but...you can't put it off for another day or two?" he asked weakly. "I wanted to spend some time with you before you left...but..." But now I won't get the chance.

Namine shook her head softly. "I'm sorry, Roxas," she said gently. "But no." Things were much more serious with Xion now; she couldn't stick around. Honestly, she feared that Xion would do much worse to her than chop off her hair in her sleep. Xion was very unpredictable, and dangerous.
Roxas didn't say anything, his grasp on Namine's arms loosening. He looked to the side slightly, his eyes soft. How long would she be gone? He could surely come visit her, right? King Mickey wouldn't keep him from doing that... He surely understood how important it was to keep that special bond with the person you loved.

"Riku is going to take me later tonight, after Lightning trains me a little bit," Namine said softly, gazing at Roxas's hands on her arms. That was how she planned on spending her day, except for packing. That hopefully wouldn't take too long though; it wasn't like she was going to take her whole wardrobe. This wasn't a vacation.
"Oh..." Roxas replied, still avoiding eye contact. What else was he supposed to say to that? Namine was leaving at the last minute, but at least she had the nerve to tell him in person. He would have crumpled up any note she gave him with this kind of news on it.

Namine still didn't raise her gaze to Roxas. "I'm sorry," she said softly. I know you don't understand, but this is what needs to be done. Telling Roxas the truth at this point was out of the question, and so was sticking around with Xion living in her home. It was time for Namine to retreat...like a coward.
