A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Xion's small smile remained as she gently moved her face closer to Roxas's, confident but taking it slow for Roxas's sake. C'mon, lean in just a little bit, she thought, more ready for this than anything else. She was ready for Roxas to finally be hers.

Roxas's eyes stayed locked onto Xion's, everything seeming to move in slow motion. Her face coming closer to his nearly made his heart stop, but he let his face move toward hers, his head slightly tilting as well. It was just...natural, much like how his lips parted, prepared for the kiss he was expecting.

Xion shut her eyes and her lips connected with Roxas's in a kiss. She kept her hands where they were, one on his shoulder and one on his cheek, as she savored the moment she had been longing for for so long. Victory is mine, she thought in joy, unaware of a boat pulling into the nearby dock. Little did she know that this kiss would be a much greater victory than she could have predicted, with who just caught a glimpse of what happened.

Roxas's eyes fell closed at the kiss, and nobody could tell him he didn't enjoy it. There was a sudden spark that ignited within him, caused by the contact between him and Xion. He couldn't help himself, lifting his hand to rest in her longer hair as his eyebrows furrowed, the seashell that had been in his grasp back in the water. Roxas didn't even notice the gaze resting on him, though he should have. He was too wrapped up in Xion at that moment to even care.

Namine got out of the boat, being the second of the two to see the scene further down the beach. No, she thought in desperation. She knew that she wasn't mistaking what she was seeing; the light wasn't playing tricks on her eyes. Roxas was kissing Xion. This...Roxas...fell for her. He's had time to pull back, but he hasn't.

 

Lightning was standing on the dock with Namine, her gaze also on the couple that was kissing further down the beach. She was outraged; Roxas should have known better than to do this, in private or in public. The soldier lifted a hand to her lips, letting out a shrill whistle to alert Roxas to their presence. Enough with the kissing. You've done enough to hurt Namine by now.

Roxas's head jerked back at the whistle, a grunt leaving his lips as he turned slightly to find where it came from. His ears never failed him, but he wished his eyes did; just on the dock was Lightning...and Namine. Roxas's eyes widened instantly, his hand that had rested in Xion's hair falling. Oh no...

Namine saw Xion also gaze over in her direction, actually looking surprised. But her expression also showed a sense of victory. The blonde turned and walked down the steps before running the opposite direction, not wanting to see Roxas with Xion any longer. I've lost him, haven't I? It's over...

Even if she wasn't close, Roxas took a step in Namine's direction and reached out a hand to her, but all words left him. No...he thought pathetically, his hand slowly falling as he watched her go. What have I done? His relationship with Namine... He already knew it was wrecked, and there was no chance in repairing it.

Light approached Roxas and Xion while Namine fled the scene, her expression composed but showing irritation. Xion was smart to take a small step away from Roxas, her hands off of him by now. You really shouldn't have done that, Roxas, she thought as she stared at him. She stopped right in front of him, wondering if he had anything to say for himself. If he didn't, she did.

Roxas glanced at Lightning, her height if not slightly taller, but even then he looked away. She was going to yell at him; that was obvious. His hands balled into fists as he prepared himself for it, though he knew he wouldn't be.

Lightning wordlessly lifted a hand and slapped Roxas, that being a light punishment compared to the punches that she threw at people in the past. "You will never be able to find somebody as good as Namine," she said simply before she turned and walked away. "You're the one who has to live with that." Roxas made a big mistake with choosing Xion.

Roxas's head had turned with the slap, and he lifted a hand to sit on his burning cheek as he watched Lightning walk off. Her words entered his ears and wormed their way into his heart, making it clutch and burn. It hurt...badly.

Namine ran to Lightning's house, sure that Riku was there. He had told her that he was pracitically living there these days. Knowing that Namine was a close friend to both Light and Riku, she didn't knock on the door when she reached it. She burst right in, breathless with tears running down her cheeks. She made it a few steps in the foyer before she fell to her knees, Jasmine right there to greet her and sniff her to try and figure out what was wrong.

Riku heard the door burst open, there being a large slam as it hit the wall. He had been in the living room, and so when the door opened, he could see who it was. "Namine?" he cried, seeing her on her knees. He pushed himself up from the couch and hurried to her side, kneeling down next to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Namine, what happened?"

The tears were still flowing as Namine tried not to sob so that she could speak clearly. "Caught them kissing," she said, hiccuping with the first word. Jasmine whined on the other side of her, the dog sensing her heartbreak and setting a paw on her knee. She instantly felt the urge to cuddle with that dog, knowing Roxas wouldn't be coming to cuddle with her to set things right this time around.

Riku's eyes widened, but once the words settled in, they narrowed. "What?" he snapped, his hand on her shoulder tightening its grasp. Roxas kissed Xion?! he thought, anger suddenly boiling within him. That idiot! Riku was going to get his hands on Roxas, soon.

Jazz moved closer, so Namine had no trouble wrapping her arms around the dog and burying her head in the dog's fur. She did this in the past with her own pet, when she had one and was upset. She choked back a sob into the fur, fighting the urge to scream. This isn't how it's meant to be. This isn't how it's meant to be at all.

Riku moved his hand to sit on the back of Namine's blonde hair, his head turning so he could look out the door. He wondered how Namine stumbled upon them in the act, but...wasn't Lightning supposed to be with her? Maybe he would ask Light when she got back; she was probably there too.

Within a few minutes, Light approached her home. The door was wide open, so she walked right in and saw everyone in the foyer with Namine crying into Jasmine's fur and Riku just being there. Her eyebrows furrowed in seriousness, her arms folded over her chest. That idiot, she thought, her thoughts echoing Riku's. Roxas made a huge error tonight, and it wasn't just kissing Xion in public. Not realizing what a great catch he had with Namine was his biggest error.

Riku saw Lightning, and he was sure his expression said the same as hers: he was ticked. He didn't blame Namine for wanting to leave now; Roxas was an idiot, and heartless, for what he just did. He truly was a Nobody in Riku's eyes. Riku turned his gaze to Namine, his hand still sitting atop her blonde hair. "Namine," he called softly. "Why don't you get cleaned up? When you're ready, I'll take you to see King Mickey." Riku didn't want her here anymore; not after what she just experienced.

Namine nodded faintly, slowly releasing Jasmine. She rose to her feet in the same manner, heading back to Lightning's room where she set down her backpack earlier. She'd use the bathroom to get cleaned up and then leave. Maybe she wouldn't ever come back now. What did she have to come back to? Riku, Lightning, and her other friends were great, but seeing Roxas in the arms of another woman was unbearable.

Riku rose to his feet once Namine started out of the room, and that was when he turned his head to look at Lightning. By the look in her eyes, he knew she did something; it helped that she was a few minutes behind. "What'd you do to him?" he asked, actually curious. If it wasn't too bad, Riku would make it worse. Namine deserved the best; Roxas was far from it.

"Slapped him hard," Light said, arms still folded over his chest. "Told him he'd never find a better person than Namine, and he has to live with that fact." She was short on words, but her words packed a punch whenever she decided to intervene in situations like this. She meant every word, too. Namine was a sweet, strong girl. Roxas was a fool for losing sight of that.

Riku smirked, but it wasn't with humor. He shook his head and placed his hands on his hips as he took a few steps further into the house. "That idiot," he hissed. He thought Lightning was bad? Wait until he gets a taste of me. And Sora...and Kairi. Riku already knew that Kairi was going to be one of the most ticked; Roxas hurt Namine in the past, and Kairi was very protective of her sister. Roxas just made a big mistake.

"...Should we leave right away, or give him a chance to set things right?" Lightning asked, looking down at the ground. A part of her pitied Roxas. She knew people made mistakes with relationships; she nearly screwed up her relationship with Riku in the past. She had always hoped Namine and Roxas would be together, but it wouldn't happen unless Roxas set things right. Did he even want that anymore?
