Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua remembered fighting in her home with Terra for this same exam. She watched Riku attack her best friend, knowing that he was in her place this time, while she stood on a higher scale and watched. It was nerve-wracking, really, because she wanted both of them to succeed. It was a possibility, and she hoped it came down to that. In her eyes, both Terra and Riku deserved to become Masters.

Master Yen Sid kept a close watch on both of them, knowing that because he had been a Master longer than Aqua, he would have more influence in the final decision than she did. Of course, he hoped that they both agreed on who deserved to become a Master; this was a serious matter, and they needed to reach a fair decision.

Riku jumped back, wincing because of a strike against his arm that Terra dealt. He quickly threw a potion above his head to heal his aches and scratches, but then he immediately shot Dark Aura at his opponent.

Terra managed to avoid the dark orbs, recalling that he saw Riku do that in battle once before. He tightened his grip on the Keyblade and ran forward, swinging at Riku with great strength.
Riku ground his teeth together, feeling Terra's Keyblade meet his own. The impact was rough, but Riku worked through it. He pushed on Terra's blade, feeling the older man's brute strength.

Terra grunted, pressing his blade against Riku's. Riku was strong and very skilled in battle, but Terra felt that he had more brute strength than Riku did. With that in mind, he pushed harder, focusing on winning this part so that he could get an advantage over Riku after the pushing was completed.
Riku ground his teeth together as he tried to fight against Terra's greater power, but it was a failed attempt. The silver-haired teen grunted, stumbling backward from the force behind Terra's pressure.

Terra saw that he had the advantage he was seeking, and so he took a quick step forward and swung at Riku. So far, he was winning in the fight, but he knew that this didn't mean a thing concerning the Mark of Mastery.
Dark Shield! Riku mentally cried, shoving his left arm out in front of him when he saw Terra swing. He heard the contact Terra's blade made with the shield, but Riku was lucky; he barely blocked that swing.

Terra was forced to stumble back a step, his blade bouncing off the shield that Riku created. He had to admit, he hadn't expected that move. He had never seen Riku use it before, so he was surprised. But then another surprise came. He saw orbs of Light appear around the arena and come towards him and Riku. He swung at one of them when it was right by him, also keeping an eye on his opponent.

Riku saw Terra swing at an arm, and then he sensed something coming in, fast, from behind him. His eyebrows furrowed as he grunted, back-flipping in the air and dodging the orb. He landed on his feet and swung at an orb that was closeby, but instantly shot Dark Aura at Terra once again.

Roxas gasped, eyes widening when the diversion arrived. More orbs? This test was definitely full of surprises, but maybe that was on purpose.

Terra saw Riku's attack coming in, and he grunted as he brought up his Keyblade to deflect the attack. However, one got through, managing to hit his knee. He winced slightly, but then swung at an orb that was nearby. Master Yen Sid had said the first test was meant to teach them to expect the unexpected; Terra shouldn't have been so surprised that a new element was present in this test.
Riku caught another orb coming at him from his side after he saw his attack land, and he managed to avoid injury by blocking it and sending the orb moving in the opposite direction. However, he kept Terra within his sights; he had incredible strength, and if Riku managed to slip up and lack attention, he could get hurt.

Terra pulled back his arm and swung at an orb, hitting it and launching it at his opponent. He then ran forward, hoping to start really battling Riku again.
Riku released a grunt, swinging at the orb that was sent in his direction. It was clever of Terra to do that, he had to admit. However, it was after swinging the orb out of his sight that he noticed Terra right there, and he instantly started to bring up his blade.

Ventus watched with wide eyes from the side, seeing Riku manage to block Terra's attack. What an incredible fight! Both of his friends were doing well, and he was especially proud of how Terra was performing.
Aqua was silent for multiple reasons. One, she couldn't cause the boys a distraction or interrupt. Two, she wanted nothing more than to observe this tough battle. And three, she was stunned. Both Terra and Riku were performing so well! She was actually quite curious as to who would fall first; it was hard to tell.

Master Yen Sid watched closely, manipulating the orbs so that they would constantly interfere with Terra and Riku's battle. He could tell it was already hard to fight against one strong opponent, but Riku and Terra needed to learn how to fight multiple enemies at the same time.

Riku saw two orbs coming in from his left side, and he was blade-to-blade with Terra. He performed the only option he could at that moment. Riku grunted, pressing as hard as he could with his right arm against Terra's blade as he brought up his left arm, shooting blue Firaga orbs at the objects coming at him.

Terra took advantage of Riku's distraction, and he sought to end the battle right here, right now. He pressed against Riku's Keyblade and used the force to push off of it and do a flip over Riku's head. He landed smoothly on the other side and bent down, aiming to knock Riku's feet out from underneath him with this swing.
Riku's eyes widened, a gasp leaving him when he suddenly fell on his back. He grunted as the wind got knocked out of him slightly, staring up at the ceiling. ...I just lost.

Terra quickly sidestepped, one foot on Riku's hand with the Keyblade while the other was firmly on the ground. He then pointed his Keyblade at Riku's upper chest and throat area as he stared down at his successor, knowing that the battle was now over.

Riku winced at the pressure Terra put on his hand, making him release his Keyblade. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down at the blade pointed at him, tense now that he knew he was in a bad position. He lifted his eyes to Terra, who won.

Aqua saw what was occurring, and she knew instantly that the match was over. Terra overcame Riku, so the battle was finished. Now, she and Master Yen Sid had to decide who won the title of Master.

"That is enough," Master Yen Sid said, though Terra and Riku surely knew that already. "Master Aqua and I will go deliberate and return when we have finished discussing everything." The Master turned around and nodded slightly to Aqua before he started walking past her to an area where they could speak.

Terra heard the words spoken and saw Master Yen Sid start to leave, so he knew that he didn't need to keep Riku in this position any longer. He stepped off his hand and summoned his Keyblade away, extending that hand to help Riku rise to his feet. That had been a good fight.

Aqua turned to follow Master Yen Sid, but she didn't forget to glance over at the boys. They really had done well, and now it all came down to this. She followed Master Yen Sid out of the room, preparing for the deliberation.

Riku let Way to Dawn fade away and he brought up his hand to grab Terra's, using it to help him rise to his feet. That was tough, he had to admit, not that he expected Terra to be an easy opponent by any means.
