Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku shook his head. "We're not giving him a chance to do anything," he declared, turning to look at Lightning. "If he wants to set things right, he's going to have to go to Namine himself. The farther away she is, the more effort he has to put in." That was fair in Riku's eyes. Roxas needed to put a little more effort into his relationship with Namine, if there even was one anymore.

Light met Riku's gaze and nodded in agreement. That sounded fair to her. Roxas couldn't flip-flop between which girl he wanted; he needed to choose one or the other. She just hoped he was smart enough to choose Namine and not Xion, even if she didn't know about Xion's attempt to kill Namine. Even without that knowledge, she knew Namine was a far better person than Xion.
Riku lowered his glare to the ground now, jaw flexing. Xion tried killing Namine...and now she successfully stole the blonde's boyfriend. It's not the Xion I used to know, he thought sadly. The Xion he knew was selfless and kind, not cold-hearted and cruel. Roxas was falling into an ugly trap.

Jasmine's whine probably alerted Lightning and Riku that Namine reentered the room. The blonde stood in the doorway of the hallway, holding her backpack in front of her instead of putting it on her back. I guess...I'm ready, she thought silently, looking between the two. There was nothing here for her right now except for heartbreak.
Riku looked over at Namine when she arrived, and he nodded. "Let's go," he said, waving a hand for her to head toward the door. He would take Namine to King Mickey while Lightning stayed her; she could fend off Roxas if he decided to show up. He doubted it, though; it wouldn't be wise to come to Lightning's place after receiving a hit. He was sure Roxas was smart enough to at least know that.

Namine hesitated for a moment, but then started after Riku. "Namine," Lightning said, taking a small step closer to her. She held out the gunblade in its case for Namine. "Keep it with you. Always." Namine was surprisingly good at using it; that was why Lightning thought it would be best for her to pursue further training with it. The blonde timidly accepted it, and though a thousand emotions swirled in her eyes, Light could tell that she was thankful. Especially when she wrapped her arms around Lightning. Her eyes widened slightly at first, but then softened. Good luck, she thought as she wrapped an arm around the blonde.
Riku waited at the door, not too far from where Namine embraced Lightning. Seeing Lightning warm up to someone who was like a sister to him was comforting, and he looked at the woman he loved with appreciation. Namine knew she had someone else on her side, and he was sure that meant the world to her.

Though Namine knew Lightning wasn't a hug type of person, she still hugged her because that was how she knew to express gratitude. After a few moments, she pulled back, nodding faintly to Lightning in thanks to the sword she gave her, whether it was for keeps or just for now. She strapped it on behind her like Light showed her earlier, the weight not overwhelming.

Knock 'em dead, Light thought in encouragement, nodding faintly to Namine in return. As she walked away, Light's eyes trailed her as she wished her another sentiment. And don't let anyone treat you like you're inferior. She was probably feeling that way because Roxas kissed Xion, but that wasn't the case at all. Namine was special.

Riku watched Namine step outside, and that was when his eyes found the woman he loved. He nodded to her in his own set of gratitude, also expressing that he would be back soon. He then pulled the door shut behind him, following Namine out. It was time he took her to where she could focus on getting stronger, both mentally and physically.

Namine stepped outside with Riku, the sun nearly completely gone from now. Ironic that I'm leaving in one of the darkest times of my life at nighttime, she thought, lifting a hand and wiping at one of her moist eyes. Irony didn't matter now. All that she needed was a way to get strong and put this behind her. No matter what it took, she would be stronger.
Riku walked past Namine and out to the yard, where he summoned his armor and glider for his own use. He then climbed on, looking back at Namine so she could join him. He could summon a portal that would take them straight to Disney Castle, that way no time would be wasted. The sooner Namine left, the better.

Namine adjusted her backpack, looking over the landscape one last time. Goodbye for a while, she thought to her home. She put on a brave face and walked forward, climbing onto Riku's glider behind him and wrapping her arms around him. It was time for them to leave this place. It was time for Namine to start changing herself so she could be strong, like she always wanted.
Riku lifted his glider off the ground, a portal being summoned just a few yards ahead of them. He then sped forward, leaving Destiny Islands behind and entering Disney Castle's atmosphere. It was daylight here, which was good. The King should have been prepared to take Namine in. She deserved it, after all she went through. This place would be good to her.

Disney Castle, Two Weeks Later

Light wasn't pleased with King Mickey. She and Riku had made it clear that Namine needed to stay in this world, where she was safe, yet the King sent her on an errand to another world. And now he wouldn't tell her where Namine was. It wasn't her place to tell about the threat, so she summoned Riku so he could fill in the King. But Riku was filling in somebody else as well: Roxas. He needed to know the truth about Xion, like Lightning learned a few days ago.

Roxas walked a step ahead of Riku, though he turned around to glare at the silver-haired young man. "I don't see why you brought--mph!" he grunted, being forced forward due to Riku's not-so-gentle shove. He was forced to come here against his will, with no explanation. While he nearly got his butt kicked by Riku personally, he still hung out with Xion to keep his mind off Namine. It worked, but only to an extent. Of course, when Roxas got dragged here by Riku's own two hands, he wasn't pleased. Namine was here, and Roxas couldn't face her. Even after two weeks.

"Walk," Riku ordered lowly, his aquamarine eyes strict with Roxas as he brought his arm back down to his side. Lightning had come to check on Namine today, but since she was gone, Riku's girlfriend summoned him. It was Riku's idea to bring Roxas, since he had some footage that everyone needed to see. It only backed up Namine's claim of Xion threatening to kill her, even attempting it. Roxas needed to see it more than anyone. Riku and the blond approached the King's study, and Riku stepped past Roxas to knock on the door.

Lightning was in the King's Study, and when she heard the knock, she knew who it was. She took the liberty of opening the door, her eyes very serious as she made eye-contact with Riku. He still won't tell, she silently communicated. The King wouldn't tell her where Namine was, which was bad. She could be in trouble by now, especially since Roxas wasn't keeping Xion occupied. Xion may have been attacking her at that very minute.
Riku made eye contact with Lightning, and when he saw the message she communicated, he reached behind him and grabbed Roxas by the back of his shirt. The blond grunted as Riku forced him inside the room, walking with him before roughly releasing him to approach the King. "Your Majesty," he greeted with a small nod. They couldn't chat; there was a serious issue at hand. Since Namine wasn't here, it could get worse. And quickly.

"Riku," King Mickey agreed with a small nod, serious because everyone else was. "What's goin' on?" He knew that Lightning wasn't happy that he sent Namine out of this world, but she refused to say why. Seeing Riku's expression now, he didn't appear to be happy either. He didn't understand what the fuss was, but he would understand soon.

"I have something to show you," Riku said, lifting his hand to show the King the tape he managed to get a hold of. He kept it close since he found it, but for good reason. Riku located the screen in the corner and placed the tape inside it, glad that it was conveniently placed in this room for the time being. He turned on the television before he stood back, out of the way with his arms crossed. "Roxas," he called. "Pay attention to what you see." He was the one who really had to rethink his behavior after watching this.

Roxas's eyebrows furrowed as he glanced from Riku to the television screen. It was then that a familiar setting appeared. Twilight Town? he wondered. Why would he show me the station? But that wasn't all that was there; while it was empty at one second, the next he saw a familiar blonde girl. The one that he loved. "Namine?" he asked without thought, hearing Riku hum in confirmation. Was this the same day that Roxas and Xion went to look for her?

Lightning was watching the video for the first time as well, her eyes intensely staring at the screen. She watched as Namine headed to the train station but was cut off by somebody who walked out from station. Namine had a conversation with the girl.

"Xion? What are you doing here?" There was no bitterness in Namine's tone; only surprise.

"Searching for you," Xion responded, her tone sarcastic with what she said next. "Poor Roxas had a fit as soon as you ran off, so we've been looking for you. I'm just glad I found you first. It's time we had a talk." The two of them were standing in the middle of the open area now, weaponless for the time being. "I told you at the very start that you were done with Roxas, but he's still obsessed with you. He always will be, unless you're permanently taken out of the picture."

Namine's eyes widened when a Keyblade appeared in the other girl's grasp. "Xion!"

Roxas's eyes sharpened at the exchange, the blond not believing what he was hearing. No... Xion...he thought miserably, seeing what she was doing. Her words, and the Keyblade... They were the signs that he needed to realize something bad was about to happen. But...what did she mean by Namine being done with him? He didn't get it, nor did he understand what she meant when she said "taken out of the picture". She couldn't possibly mean...

Lightning's eyes narrowed when Xion attacked a defenseless girl without even allowing her to summon her weapon. Still, Namine managed to avoid the Fire spell and summon her own weapon. Only Namine didn't fight back. All that she did was defend herself from Xion's attacks and try to talk her out of the crazy situation. But Xion wouldn't listen. Every once in a while, Namine reflected Xion's spells back at her, but it was only to get Xion to back off. Namine clearly was holding back because she didn't want to hurt the girl.
Riku watched the scene unfold before him with narrowed eyes. When the fight first began, he heard Roxas grunt, but now the boy was silent. Riku turned his head to look at him, only to see Roxas staring at the screen in horror. Riku didn't blame him; who wanted to believe two people he felt so strongly for would attack each other? Of course, Xion was doing a majority of the attacking. Namine was only on the defensive. Riku then looked to the King, wondering what his reaction would be to the video tape. It wasn't something he probably wanted to witness, but Namine's life was clearly at stake.

The King gazed at Riku briefly, feeling his friend's gaze on him. But something in the video caught his attention. Xion and Namine had a bit of distance between them and Xion's expression briefly changed. That was when Heartless appeared and surrounded them. But he had seen the Darkness circling her hand before they appeared; she summoned them. And a minute later, Roxas appeared in the clip and the Heartless were defeated.
Roxas watched silently as he saw the disgusting sequence of events unfold before him, his gaze locked onto the screen. He witnessed himself assist in defeating a few Heartless before running to Xion's aid, hearing himself yell at Namine to heal Xion. That was when Riku shut off the tape, and Roxas was glad; he nearly ordered it. He lowered his gaze to the ground, feeling disappointed, enraged, and downright guilty. How could I let this happen?
