Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light turned to look at the King, breaking the silence in the room. "Now you know why Namine was supposed to stay in this world. She's not capable of facing somebody like that." King Mickey's gaze went down to the desk as his eyebrows furrowed. Clearly he was stunned that Namine had such a deathly villain after her. He had probably thought it was only Heartless that Riku and Lightning were concerned about.
Riku looked over at the King, keeping his place. "Where is she, Your Majesty?" he asked then, his voice soft but stern. They needed to find Namine immediately, before Xion made her next move. Now that Roxas wasn't around, she was probably already on her way.

King Mickey looked up with furrowed eyebrows after a moment. "Traverse Town," he finally said. He sent her to Traverse Town to find a book that Merlin had hidden there a long time ago. But...he had also sent her to face whatever was scaring her so badly. He hadn't realized just how big the threat was. If he had, he wouldn't have let her go with only two weeks of training.
Roxas lifted his gaze then, glancing at the King before his eyes found the door. I need to go get her, he thought. Just me, no one else. Namine needed to hear from him, and he needed to help her get out of this if he could. Xion couldn't hurt her... Not again.

"Thanks," Lightning said with a nod to the King before she looked at Riku. "Let's go." She started walking immediately, knowing that time was of the essence. There was no doubt in her mind that Namine was already fighting for her life against Xion. The bad feeling in her stomach was almost never wrong.
Roxas glanced from Lightning to Riku, and he stepped forward. "Wait," he said, catching Riku's attention. "I'm coming with you." He wouldn't sit by and let this happen again, if it would happen. He needed to be there for Namine this time; he needed to apologize. When Riku nodded, Roxas ventured out of the room first, set on getting Namine back. Even if she wouldn't take him back, he was going to try and make things right.

Traverse Town

Namine had been afraid that this would happen as soon as the King sent her out of the castle. Yet she left without telling him the truth. She had hoped that she wouldn't run into Xion and her life wouldn't be in danger. But she did run into her enemy and have to fight her. Only this time, she didn't hold back. She wasn't trying to kill Xion, but she didn't mind hurting her worse than last time in order to get her to back off. With a battle cry, Namine knocked Xion away from her, the girl sliding along the ground of the first district and stopping on her stomach. She didn't move after that. The fight is over. I...actually won.

Riku descended into Traverse Town's atmosphere, aiming for the First District, much like Roxas. The blond landed first, and Riku wasn't surprised at the scene before him. Xion and Namine had battled again, but this time... Namine won, he realized, his glider on the ground as Roxas dismounted his own. There was nothing but silence; all of the world's inhabitants fled the moment the battle began. It was only Xion, Namine, Roxas, Riku, and Lightning left.

After a few more moments of silence, Namine slipped Lightning's gunblade back into its case. She started towards Xion, pace casual. Despite the victory in the battle, she knew that she ultimately lost. Xion had Roxas's affection. And for that reason... "I'll take you home now," she said softly, kneeling down to grab a hold of Xion's arm. "You're lucky he loves you." Otherwise, she would have just left Xion there.
Roxas watched Namine in silence, his armor concealing his face. He heard what she had to say, and it nearly broke his heart. Didn't she get it? He loved her too, not just Xion. That was why he was so conflicted. "...Namine?" he called softly. What was she doing? What was going on?

Both girls were unaware of the other presences in that world. Xion was more angry that Namine dared to show her compassion. Though she was laying on her side, she took a hold of her Keyblade and swung it at Namine to knock her away. The blonde barely managed to jump backwards and avoid the Keyblade. Xion grunted, setting her hands on the ground while still grasping the Keyblade. You'll pay for this, witch.

Namine's eyes hardened at Xion's hostile actions. Still she didn't try to attack her back. "Fine," she said, only a small bit of bite coming through in her tone. "You can take yourself home." She turned around and started walking as Xion started to get up, presumably to go back to the Islands. She was in no condition to fight now.

Riku had dismounted his glider by now, and he watched in silence as Namine walked away, both girls seemingly unaffected by Roxas's call. Somehow, that didn't surprise him; their battle had to have been heated for them to ignore any intrusion. But...Riku couldn't deny that he was proud of Namine for being the better person, walking away like she did. It proved that she was in fact better than Xion, in more ways than one.

Xion wasn't one to accept defeat. She got back up on her feet and glared at the girl who dared to walk away from her in fury. Without hesitation, she pointed her Keyblade at Namine and a thin beam of Darkness shot out of the tip of it with deathly accuracy, speed, and power.

Namine stopped where she was when she felt something like a bullet pierce her back. Right where her heart was. Her eyes widened, shocked at the attack. A voice in her head told her that she should have been expecting this kind of treachery from Xion. Another voice told her what Xion already knew: that attack was fatal.

Roxas reached a hand out immediately, having seen Xion raise her Keyblade. "No!" he cried, but it was too late; the attack already hit Namine. The boy grunted before sprinting toward the blonde, his armor clanking with every rushed step. How could Xion do such a thing?! Behind him, Roxas heard Riku in pursuit as well, probably to hold off Xion from any other attacks.

Lightning threw Odin's large weapon as she ran ahead as well, breaking the beam that had hit Namine as soon as it disappeared, Namine sank down to her knees. No... she thought desperately, fear and anger raiding her heart. Namine won that fight! It wasn't supposed to end this way.

Xion grunted, eyes wide when she saw three people suddenly intervene. I can't believe it! she thought in shock. Roxas, Riku, and Lightning. She hadn't expected any of them, since they didn't know what type of a girl she was. Or at least, they hadn't before that moment.

Riku ran forward as Roxas skidded to a halt next to Namine. The silver-haired teen summoned his Keyblade as he stood in front of the two blondes, holding it at the ready so he could fend off any other attacks. His stance said it all: I dare you, Xion.

Roxas stopped next to Namine, his armor screeching when he slid on his knees next to the person he loved. He put his hand on her shoulder, the other going to her stomach so she wouldn't fall forward. "Namine?" he asked then, voice soft but full of fear. What did Xion just do?!

Xion backed away a step, her eyes wide as her Keyblade was in her grasp. "It...it's not what it looks like!" she cried. "She attacked me!"

"Shut up," Lightning spat for the sake of all of them. She held a piece of Odin's weapon in each of her hands as she stood beside Riku, ready to defend the two people behind her. She glanced over her shoulder, eyes narrowing further when she saw Namine wince and...start fading away. This can't be happening. Namine can't be dying right now. They could have intervened to prevent this! But now it was too late.

Roxas grunted when he saw what was happening, his eyes widening behind his mask. "N-Namine!" he said again, this time in complete horror. No... Roxas moved his hand from her shoulder to the back of her head. "Namine, look at me," he begged. She couldn't fade away! Not now!

"No! Give me a chance to explain..." Xion pleaded, trying to be convincing. But she wasn't convincing anybody. That was evident when Lightning threw one of her weapons and let it pierce the ground right in front of Xion. They already know the truth, don't they? They see that I'm a monster.

Namine's eyebrows furrowed slightly as she started recovering from the shock of the impact. Her pale blue eyes peeked open and drifted over to see the person who had spoken to her. The armor was very familiar to her. Roxas?

Riku only glared at Xion from behind his helmet, not saying anything for the moment. He was sure Lightning's actions said enough for all of them; Xion needed to flee the scene, or she would suffer the consequences. Of course, she would suffer the consequences for her actions eventually, but by the panic Riku just heard in Roxas's voice, it would have to be some other time. "Leave," he ordered lowly. "Now."

Roxas ignored what was happening between Riku, Lightning, and Xion, his eyes resting on the girl before him. He'd seen this happen to the members of the Organization before, how their bodies began to fade. The same was happening to Namine. His hand continued to cup the back of her head, his eyes on her even if she couldn't see them. Stay with me...please.

Light witnessed Xion disappear into a Dark Portal a moment later, not daring to threaten Riku. Once she was gone, Lightning summoned her weapons away and turned around completely to face the two blondes. Her eyes softened when she saw Namine still fading away, and her eyes shutting. Xion still won after all...
"No," Roxas grunted upon watching Namine's eyes close. His gloved hand moved to her face, resting against her cheek. "No, Namine... Look at me." He could feel his heart breaking as she slowly faded away; his beloved was leaving him. "Stay with me, baby... Please." He couldn't lose her. Not like this.

Namine's eyebrows furrowed, her heart skipping a beat both at Roxas's tone and the name he used for her. "I'm not going anywhere," she finally managed to say, eyes remaining shut. She could feel the pain from Xion's attack fading away, and she was beginning to understand now why that wound wasn't fatal. The darkness emitting from her started disappearing, proving what she said was true: she wasn't leaving.
Roxas grunted at the words and the sight before him, nearly doing it in unison to Riku. He watched as the darkness that emitted from Namine slowly faded away, but she stayed where she was. Namine's...okay? Roxas wondered, wide eyes resting on her in silence. What did that mean? What about the attack Xion threw at her?

Light's eyes remained on Namine as the Darkness disappeared completely and Namine regained her composure. "You should be dead," she said aloud, blunt because of surprise. "It pierced your heart."

Namine lifted a hand to her chest, looking up at Riku and Light while taking a little bit of weight off Roxas's arm that had been keeping her from falling forward. "No, it didn't," she said softly. "King Mickey...He gave me a shirt I'm wearing underneath this. He said it would absorb the blow of any Dark magic..." It saved my life.
