Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...And it worked," Riku concluded, eyebrows furrowing behind his helmet. King Mickey saved Namine's life, even if he did somewhat put it in danger. Riku could practically feel Roxas's relief on top of his own, even if the blond was silent. He was sure Roxas was glad his helmet was on, that way no one could read his expression. Riku wouldn't want anyone to see his face either.

"Yeah," Namine said with a small nod, slowly lowering her hand to Roxas's arm across her stomach. Though they weren't on good terms, she was glad that he ran to catch her and not try to take Xion's side. But why didn't he? Riku promised not to tell...
Roxas could only look at Namine, not caring that Xion fled the scene; his concern was elsewhere. "...What happened?" he asked softly, keeping his hands where they were--one resting on her cheek while the other was holding onto her side, his arm over her stomach to keep her up. What happened between her and Xion this time, other than the obvious?

Naminie found herself blushing, as she always did lately whenever Roxas was close to discovering the truth. She hadn't wanted to be the one who told him the truth. But something told her that he already knew. She turned her head and looked up at her brotherly figure. "Riku?" she inquired softly. Did you tell him the truth?
Riku glanced over at Namine, and seeing the unspoken question in her eyes, he nodded once. He told Roxas what happened; in fact, he showed him. He had to. If he didn't, Namine could have been dead. To him, the end justified the means.

"...Right," Namine said softly, glancing down. After a moment, she looked over at Roxas. "...If he already told you, then you know what happened," she said to his question, voice still quiet. Xion tried to kill me...Again. If Roxas knew Xion was bullying Namine, then surely he knew the full truth. Riku wouldn't just tell him a piece of it if he was gonna spill.
Roxas could only look at Namine, and after a moment, he let his fingers trail over her cheek as his hand fell from her face. "Right," he said with a small nod, his voice barely audible. Xion did try killing Namine, but...how did it happen this time? Did Namine get ambushed again, or did she start it? Namine wouldn't start it, he told himself. She didn't even hurt Xion the last time. Why would she initiate battle this time around?

Namine's eyes softened, both because of Roxas taking his hand away and because of his voice. He was devastated that the girl he loved wasn't who he thought she was. "I'm sorry," she said weakly, glancing away. "You were so happy with her...I didn't want to tell you..." I didn't want to tell you that she wasn't who you thought she was. That she tried to kill me. That she was a monster.
"...You should've," Roxas said then, ignoring the fact that Riku and Lightning were listening in on this conversation. It wasn't that he minded, but it was still personal. "It would have saved a lot of trouble." Like you leaving, or me kissing Xion... Roxas nearly pulled away from Namine completely at the memory. Did she really want him--a traitor and cheater--touching her after what he did in front of her?

Namine shook her head, looking down at her lap as her short blonde hair moved forward. "You love her," she said quietly. "I couldn't ruin that..." In a way, Namine hoped that Xion would change. That she would let go of her grudge against Namine eventually and become the girl that Roxas loved all along. But now, Namine doubted that could happen.
"But..." Roxas tried, though he oddly found his voice to be gone after the word left his mouth. But...I love you too, he wanted to say. Thing was, he didn't want to be rejected right now. So what if he kissed Xion? It didn't mean he didn't love Namine anymore! Of course he did... How couldn't he? She was...amazing.
  • Author
"I know," Namine said, her lower lip starting to tremble as her eyes shut. She furrowed her eyebrows so she wouldn't cry. "You needed to know. You needed to find out who you loved more..." That was why Roxas was with Xion so much, and why he kissed her. Though Roxas may not have thought of it in those terms, she was sure that was the case. He needed to decide between her and Xion somehow.

Roxas shook his head slightly, his hand curling around Namine's side as he held her more tightly. "But, Namine... I--"

"We should get Namine back," Riku interrupted, voice low. He could tell this conversation wasn't going to go well, for either blond. That was why he decided to interfere. It was time they headed back, to get Namine to safety and to tell the King everything was alright.

Namine glanced up at Riku, surprised at his intervention. But... she thought, her sky blue eyes up on his helmet. She didn't know when she would get the chance to speak to Roxas again. It had been two weeks since they said a word to each other, and now that he finally knew the truth...She hoped he understood her recent behavior. She had been secretive to protect him, because she loved him.
Riku shook his head, gazing at Namine even if she couldn't see his eyes. They needed to at least get back to Disney Castle, but even then, Riku may force Roxas to go home. If he wants to talk to you, he has to work for it. He was forced to come today. It's not good enough.

Namine lowered her head, catching onto Riku's basic message. There was no point in her arguing; it was time to go back to the Castle. She nodded ever so slightly, taking her hand off Roxas's arm and setting it on the ground instead. She slowly pushed herself up, wincing at the battle wounds that were never healed. She wouldn't bother healing them now, though; she didn't want to call attention to them.
Roxas opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Instead, he simply looked up at Namine, realizing that this could possibly be the last time he saw her for a while. And they didn't get the chance to talk... He lowered his gaze to the ground, glaring at it as he pushed himself to his feet. Fine.

Namine blinked when she felt a healing spell wash over her. Having been watching Roxas out of the corner of her eye, she knew it wasn't him. She looked over and met Lightning's eye, seeing the soldier nod at her faintly. The blonde's shoulders slumped now that the pain was gone as she nodded as well in thanks. That was much better.
Roxas glanced over in time to see a few cuts fade from existence on Namine's skin, and the thought of either girl hurting each other... It nearly made him sick. He loved both girls... Well, he thought he loved both, but one of them wasn't who he thought she was. At all. That nearly made him sick as well. "...Do I go with you?" he found the nerve to ask, his gaze moving to Riku and Lightning. "Or do I go straight home?" He didn't want to risk getting on anyone else's bad side. Roxas honestly didn't think he had the energy for it after everything he witnessed today.

Lightning glanced at Riku, then Namine. After a few seconds, her gaze landed on Roxas again. "You'll need to come back to the castle," she said realistically. "Riku's glider can only carry one passenger." However Namine got here, she did it alone. And she knew that none of them wanted Namine travelling alone after what just happened.
Roxas nodded once in agreement, finding that to be true. So, who rode with him? Lightning, or Namine? The former always rode on Riku's glider, but Roxas had to question whether Namine would actually be comfortable riding with him. It didn't really matter, as long as he didn't mess something up.

Namine felt Lightning's questioning gaze on her. Immediately, she knew what the question was. "It's okay," she said weakly, taking a step over towards Roxas. She would ride on the back of his glider so that Lightning could be with Riku. She secretly wanted a reason to hold onto Roxas for a little while anyway...despite his betrayal.
Roxas was glad his helmet concealed his face, the blond's eyes widening slightly at the words that left Namine's mouth, and what they meant. She would ride with him? He glanced over at her before looking to Riku, who simply nodded. Roxas watched as the older teen left the small circle to summon his glider, so he decided he should do the same. Roxas stepped past Namine to follow Riku's lead, calling to his Keyblade before throwing it into the air. It came around and he jumped up, landing on it skillfully. It was then that he steered it around to pick up Namine. Roxas hovered a few feet above the ground and held out his hand for the girl, aware that she had to get on somehow.

Namine tried to be composed, though it was hard when she was so tired and stressed. She reached out and grabbed Roxas's hand as she stepped up onto the glider behind him. There was only one way to stay on the glider, and that was what she was about to do. Her arms cautiously wrapped around his torso as she became uncertain as to whether this was a good idea or not.
Roxas looked down at the arms that encircled him, and he hesitantly lifted a hand to cover them, that way he was sure Namine stayed on the glider. But another part of him just wanted to make sure this was real, and that she was really embracing him, even if she was just holding on. Focus, he ordered himself, glancing over at Riku and Lightning to see that they were almost ready to go. Roxas took initiative, lifting his glider off the ground and soaring into the sky, summoning a portal at the same time. It was time he helped protect Namine, even if it was as simple as taking her back to safety.
