Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas glanced from Namine to Riku in the silence, though his eyes drifted back to Namine. "...I'll let him take you home," he said with the smallest of nods. He was sure Riku wanted to do that anyway, so he would let him have the opportunity. Roxas would just...hang out here for a while.

"Oh...okay," Namine said after glancing between the two boys. She had sort of wanted to stay on this Island for a while, but she knew she couldn't do it alone, so that diminished the purpose. She rose to her feet, dusting the sand off of her. Now was as good a time as any to go home, she supposed.
Riku looked at Namine and jerked his head, summoning his Keyblade to his hand. He rode over here on his glider, so that would be the way they got back to the mainland. He watched as Roxas took a few steps away before turning around completely, leaving Riku and Namine alone. Wherever he was going, Riku just hoped Roxas took the time to think about this situation, and all the consequences he made after kissing Xion.

As Namine climbed onto the back of Riku's glider, her eyes found Roxas. Since he was turned away, she didn't expect any farewell from him. So she didn't offer one either, at least not aloud. I'll see you later, maybe, she thought. She still wanted to be around him and hopefully set things right, someday soon.

A few days later...

Roxas stood in the sand, his Keyblade at his side and at the ready as he waited for Namine to attack. Just a few days ago, when Riku came by, he wasn't sure he would ever train with Namine again. But she surprised him by asking for another session, so here they were. They had been going at it for a while, much longer than the last time, and Roxas could feel the sweat trickling down his temple. As much as he hated hurting Namine, he didn't hold back; she had to be ready for Xion when the time came. Xion wouldn't show any mercy.

Namine had asked Roxas for another training session earlier that morning for two reasons: one was that she wanted to see him again. The second was that she actually felt ready to train again. She had a talk with the strongest person that she knew last night, that person being Lightning. Light was wise beyond her years and spoke right into Namine's heart. It restored Namine to an extent, though she still needed to do some more coping before she was completely at peace with the situation. With a battle cry, she swung the gunblade at Roxas, knowing he'd block it.
Roxas lifted his Keyblade in time, hearing the metal clash when the weapons made contact. He used his strength to his advantage, forcing Namine's gunblade down before he took a swing at her. He had instructed her before to use both physical and magical techniques, and he was sure she already knew that. But this was a moment when she needed to follow his instruction. He expected her to call to a shield to deflect his attack, a move he knew she was skilled at.

Namine didn't have time to consider any option but the one that she took. Shield! she mentally cried, casting a protection spell. When Roxas's Keyblade bounced off of it, she knew that she did the right thing. But there was no time to focus on that; she had to keep fighting. She lifted the weapon and swung at Roxas again, more horizontal this time.
Roxas jumped back, hearing his shirt get torn because of the blade slicing the fabric. He briefly glanced down at it before he lifted his gaze to Namine. Go on the offensive, his eyes ordered. Show me what you've got.

This is getting a little too heated, Namine thought in worry as she jumped back. She actually just tore Roxas's clothes a little bit; she hadn't expected that her sword would actually come so close to hurting him. So, she chose not to swing the sword again. She curled her free hand in a fist, sending a fireball at Roxas and praying that he would avoid it.
Roxas blinked, eyes widening briefly because he hadn't expected the magical attack; he thought Namine would swing at him again. He rolled to the side, dodging the spell as he came back up to his feet. Good, Namine.

Again! Namine ordered herself, unsure of what else to do. She needed a moment to regain her composure anyway; she was breathing really heavily because she and Roxas had been locked in this for quite some time. He wasn't kidding around in any way, so neither was she. She sent more fireballs at him, her sword lowered to her side as she did so.
Roxas knew that he didn't have time to roll out of the way of these next fireballs, so he lifted his Keyblade in an attempt to block them. He felt his feet getting pushed back in the sand due to the force, but he held his ground. One of the fireballs managed to get past his sword, though, burning his hand. Roxas grunted, eyes squeezing shut as he pulled his hand back. Ow.

I'm actually hurting him? Namine thought in shock, momentarily stopping with the attacks. That was a testimony to how much she trained with King Mickey, Riku, and Lightning. Roxas was a Keyblade Master now, and to think that somebody like her could actually have attacks slip by his defense was stunning.
Roxas opened his eyes to see the look on Namine's face, and he shook his head. No, Namine. No letting your guard down, he thought sternly. He gripped his blade, ignoring the burning of his hand as he sprinted toward Namine. Stay focused!

A grunt left Namine's lips at Roxas's quick recovery. I should have known that this wasn't over yet! she thought in panic. She went with her first instinct, and that was to lift the gunblade to block Roxas's incoming attack. This was so intense, even if it was only a training session.
Roxas moved his Keyblade in a downward arc, meeting Namine's gunblade. He grunted at the impact, his eyes finding hers. You're doing...great, he realized then. Why was he so surprised, though? Namine had plenty of training with the King, Riku, and Lightning. Roxas pulled back his Keyblade and forced it down on the gunblade again, adding more pressure.

Namine squeezed her eyes shut briefly at the pressure of the second hit. She took a step back with one foot, also leaning back further than she should have. Her balance wasn't as great as it was before, but at least she didn't collapse under the pressure of Roxas's Keyblade. This was what she was supposed to do, right?
Roxas put so much pressure on his blade that he was leaning with it, and when he felt Namine lean back farther than she should have, his eyes widened. He suddenly fell forward, landing on Namine before they started rolling down the slight hill on the beach toward the water. Roxas made it so he was the one who was on bottom, managing to at least control that much as he landed on his back, feeling water rush up and spread around him before retreating back into the ocean.

Namine grunted when the two of them stopped rolling, her hands empty now. She had purposely dropped her sword a few moments ago so that she wouldn't accidentally cut Roxas (or herself) when they lost their balance. She opened her eyes, realizing then that the side of her face was laying on Roxas's chest and that she was on top of him.
Roxas coughed slightly, not because of the water, but because he had gotten the wind knocked out of him. His Keyblade lay forgotten a few yards away, something he noticed when he opened his eyes. He felt weight on top of him, his hands resting on someone's waist. When he turned his head, he already knew who he would see, though he stiffened slightly when he saw Namine. He ignored the water that rolled up again, the two of them being far enough away that the water barely even went past them. Roxas felt the cold water brush the back of his head and seep against his skin. Despite what happened, the water felt good because he was so hot. The sun didn't help much.

Namine propped herself up a little bit, sure that her cheeks were already red because of how hard they had been fighting just a minute ago. Her hand lightly found Roxas's chest, her eyes also darting and meeting his. Though this was definitely the most intimate position they had been in lately by far, she didn't find it awkward that his hands were on his waist, that her hand was on his chest, and that her eyes were locked on his. In fact, she liked it. A lot.
Roxas couldn't find his voice; all he could do was gaze at the person above him. He knew how this happened, since it was so recent, but he didn't curse it for happening. For once, he and Namine were incredibly close, in an intimate position that they hadn't been in before, and he actually...enjoyed it. How couldn't he? He loved her after all, despite everything.

"Can you breathe?" Namine whispered after a moment, lowering herself a little bit subconsciously as her gaze stayed on Roxas. She was right on top of him, and she realized that wasn't the proper question for her to ask. She should have been asking if she needed to get off of him. But that wasn't what she wanted, so she didn't ask that question.
Honestly, no, Roxas thought, thinking of how he got the wind knocked out of him momentarily. It didn't help that Namine was so close that she took his breath away, but he nodded anyway. "Yeah..." he whispered. He was fine, for now.
