Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Okay," Namine whispered, remaining where she was because Roxas was okay. For once, it was her heart that was in control of a situation. Her mind would have been telling her not to be so close to Roxas if she was actually listening to it. But right now, this was all that she wanted and no reason was good enough to get her to move away.
The water rolled in again, cooling off Roxas's skin as it briefly went over his elbow that rested in the sand. "...You okay?" he asked softly, one of his hands moving slightly on Namine's waist. It was his fault they ended up in this position, after all; he put too much pressure on her blade.

"Yeah," Namine responded, voice at the same level as before as her eyes remained locked on Roxas's. Just the feeling of his hand moving on her waist made her fight the urge to shiver. "I'm fine." And she was, as far as she was concerned. Of course she was sore and roughed up and tired from the fight, but Roxas was holding her, and not because she was upset. They both were in this position because they loved each other deeply.
"Good," Roxas replied with a weak smile, though it faded as soon as it appeared. He could only gaze up at Namine, taking in their position. It was intimate, but...they weren't together. Did that mean she didn't want to be, though? She wasn't fighting to get off of him, and he wasn't trying to push her away. What did that mean?

"How about you?" Namine asked softly, a little lower than before because she was too tired and unwilling to keep herself up. Her face was closer to Roxas's than it originally had been, though they weren't close enough to kiss yet. She tried focusing on what response Roxas would give her, but her mind was buzzing with the sensation of Roxas holding her.
Roxas wasn't sure how to answer that question. He was fine physically, but mentally... His emotions were skyrocketing at the close proximity he and Namine were in. "I..." he tried, though he couldn't finish. His voice failed him, again. The water came back in as Roxas lifted his hand from Namine's waist, the back of his head getting more wet as his fingers settled in Namine's hair. I...miss you.

Namine's eyes briefly went to Roxas's hand, but her eyes went back to his face as his fingers wove between her blonde strands of hair. Her eyes were soft, the wind gently shifting some of her hair as the sun shone down on the two of them. She hadn't expected them to get more intimate, but the hand in her hair was just that. And so was the fact that she, again, moved her face a tad closer to Roxas's. Roxas...
Roxas had noticed how Namine got closer within the past minute, and he let his hands rest where they were--in her hair and on her waist. He gazed at her pretty blue eyes for another moment as he lifted his head off the sand, slowly and with hesitance. His face was right in front of hers, but he continued, closing the gap between them. His breath got knocked out of him again when his lips made contact with hers, his eyes falling shut. Namine.

Namine's eyes fell shut when Roxas closed the distance between them and kissed her. Her heart jumped within her chest, starting to race not in fear or sadness but in love and reassurance. The fire that she felt between her and Roxas--that love that they held--It didn't feel any different than it had before Xion showed up. Nothing changed.
Roxas allowed the kiss to continue, his lips moving with Namine's gently. He simply held his breath, knowing that he had to preserve what oxygen was within his lungs. His hand on her waist moved to her lower back as he kept her where she was, feeling his love for her grow even more as he shared this intimate moment with her. Kissing Namine was completely different from kissing Xion. It was full of purity, love, and gentleness. Things Roxas would never want to replace.

Namine lowered herself closer to Roxas's body as her free hand found his cheek. Her fingers were further back in his hair, feeling the ocean water touch the tips of them as it rolled in again. That small touch of water was refreshing, but not nearly as refreshing as this kiss. This was true love.
Is this really happening? Roxas couldn't help but wonder, feeling Namine's fingers weave through his damp spikes. This wasn't a dream, was it? He had dreampt of this plenty of times, each moment unfolding differently, of course. But...this had to be real. The cold water that was pulled away from him assured him of that.

Certain that Roxas needed a breath as well, Namine pulled back her lips a few inches while her face remained close to Roxas's. That was... she started thinking, not finishing it. No words could suffice and perfectly describe what she was feeling. The kiss was nice, gentle, loving...Perfect. Absolutely perfect.
Roxas didn't open his eyes right away, though he did keep his head up and out of the sand. He sucked in a breath, though he did it silently; he needed the air after getting his breath taken away, again. Namine was good at doing that. He opened his eyes, looking at her for the first time since the kiss happened. What did she think?

Namine's eyes opened after a few moments of feeling a gaze on her. As soon as her eyes met Roxas's, she was certain that the look in her eyes was identical to the look in his eyes. No words were even needed right now, because his expression said more than his words could have. And she was sure that her expression was the same. I love you. I want to be by your side, always.
Roxas moved his hand up Namine's back slightly, his other hand still resting in her hair. "Namine..." he said, breathless. That kiss was...fantastic, and exactly what he wanted, deep down. He didn't realize it until it happened, but...she was okay with it, right? The look in her eyes said she was, but still... What if she regretted this later? Roxas knew he wouldn't. He couldn't, not after a kiss like that--one so magnificent that he couldn't even speak.

"Roxas," Namine whispered, her heart skipping a beat when his hand moved on her back. All that she wanted to do was wrap her arms around him now, and maybe she would do that in a minute. But for this minute, for this moment, she couldn't tear her eyes away from his. Though it was unspoken, both of them knew what that kiss meant: Roxas chose Namine over Xion, even over the Xion that he thought he kissed a while ago. Their love was superior by far.
Roxas gazed at Namine, trying to find the right words to say. But three words would always be the right ones to say, no matter what condition their relationship was in. "...I love you," Roxas confessed then, ignoring the water that came back in and brushed against his soaked clothes. He would always love her.

Namine couldn't resist hugging Roxas then. Her hand that was on his head moved as that arm wrapped gently underneath Roxas's neck. She laid down completely, giving him a small kiss on his cheek from her new position. "I love you too," she whispered, meaning it deeply. Love conquers all, doesn't it, Roxas? Does that mean that we can conquer everything we face as long as we're together?
Roxas closed his eyes, his arms encircling Namine completely as he took in her words. He felt himself get chills because of them, as well as her small gesture. After everything that happened between them, after all he had done and Xion had done to the relationship, he and Namine were still together... It was hard to believe, but he accepted it nonetheless.

Namine let her eyes fall shut, her hand moving off Roxas's chest and instead cupping the back of his head. Though she was laying on top of him, she didn't care. Just as long as they stayed in each other's arms, then she was perfectly content. Well, except for one other thing. "Still together?" she whispered in question, referring to them. They never actually broke up, after all. She hoped they still were significant others.
Roxas couldn't help but smile weakly, holding onto Namine more tightly. "Always were," he answered in response. While it felt like they weren't together, they always had been. The kiss proved that. He and Namine were never disconnected. They were always together.
  • Author
Namine hummed, a small smile on her lips at the response. She didn't bother speaking, feeling the ocean water yet again. By now the heat from the battle had worn off; the heat that she felt now was happiness in her heart because she and Roxas were truly on the same page again. It was terrific.
Roxas could rest his head now, since Namine's arms were supporting his neck now. He let the sun shine down on his face as the water cooled off any heat it caused, but he kept his hold on Namine all the same. He wasn't in love with Xion anymore, not the one he saw a little while ago. People changed, and she changed for the worst. Roxas didn't want to be with someone like that; he never did. That was why he settled down with Namine in the first place. She was his other half, always.

Namine exhaled a soft breath, her eyes remaining shut. This isn't the same way we ended training the other day, she thought in amusement, a small smile still on her lips. She definitely preferred this way to how they ended the other day, with Namine chickening out of training and breaking down. That day she was broken, and this day, she was healed.
